Fergus was one of the only Pok&eacute;mon Trainers who was able to make it through Mewtwo&#039;s storm and reach New Island, along with Ash, his friends, Neesha and Corey. When Mewtwo revealed himself to be the one who invited all the Trainers to New Island, Fergus was the first to speak out against it, claiming a Pok&eacute;mon could not be a Trainer. He tried using his Gyarados to battle Mewtwo, but the Psychic Pok&eacute;mon easily defeated it. A team of scientists use the DNA of a rare Pokemon, Mew, to create the world's strongest Pokemon, Mewtwo. Not wanting to be used as an experiment, Mewtwo uses its psychic powers in a violent rage to destroy the scientists who created it. Mewtwo then tries to learn how to focus his powers with the aid of Giovanni, the man who funded the scientists' operations, but discovers that it is being used again. So Mewtwo decides to find its own purpose in life, and carry out its revenge on humans by destroying life on earth by using a deadly storm. Ash Ketchum and a group of other Pokemon Trainers are summoned by Mewtwo to have a battle with it, but they soon discover that they're only being invited so Mewtwo can clone their Pokemon for it's own purposes. Ash then tries to find a way to stop Mewtwo's plot before it can be carried out.

James Carter Cathcart (born January 4, 1954 in West Long Branch, New Jersey), often credited as Carter Cathcart or Jimmy Zoppi, is a American voice actor, bassist and vocalist.
He's best known for voicing Gary in Pokémon as well as James, Meowth and Professor Oak since Season 9. He also is known for voicing Vector in Sonic X.

On April 17th, 2023, he announced on his CaringBridge page that he will be retiring from voice acting and script adapting after Pokémon Journeys: The Series has finished, following his diagnosis with throat cancer in late January 2023.

**Trond Teigen** is a Norwegian actor, singer and voice actor.

He started his career with the play *Treasure Island* at the Chateau Neuf in 1989, where he later also played Tony in *West Side Story* and Charley in *Charley's Aunt*. Here he also starred in *Hello Dolly, Sweet Charity* and *Oliver*.

At *Det Norske Teatret* in Oslo, Trond has appeared in *Sweeney Todd, Guten og Stjerna, Carousel, Musical Musikal, Black Rider, Piaf, An-Magritt, The Threepenny Opera, Which Witch, Norge-Brasil* and *Evita* among other things.

Trond has also starred in various plays at other theaters, including Annie at *Bryggeteatret*, Kjøpmannen i Venezia at *Teatret Vårt*, Tolvskillingsoperaen at *Hålogaland Teater*, Sofies Verden at *Fornebu*, Guys and Dolls and Jul i Blåfjell at *Oslo Nye Teater*, MAMMA MIA, My fair lady and Phantom of the Opera at *Folketeatret*, Skjønnheten og Udyret at *Christiania Teater* and last but not least played the role of Marius in Les Misérables in Karlstad and Malmö.
