Christopher Thorndyke, also known as Chris, was first introduced into Sonic X during the first episode when he rescued Sonic after having fallen into their pool. He lives in a large mansion and both his parents work, his mother a movie star and his father the owner of a large company, they are hardly ever at home, but when emergency strikes they&#039;ll rush home. Chris&#039; parents are very overprotective of him.    During Sonic X, Chris develops a very strong bond with Sonic, seeing him as one of his very best friends. He tends to be a bit of a crybaby, but he still tries to be strong. 

Fergus was one of the only Pok&eacute;mon Trainers who was able to make it through Mewtwo&#039;s storm and reach New Island, along with Ash, his friends, Neesha and Corey. When Mewtwo revealed himself to be the one who invited all the Trainers to New Island, Fergus was the first to speak out against it, claiming a Pok&eacute;mon could not be a Trainer. He tried using his Gyarados to battle Mewtwo, but the Psychic Pok&eacute;mon easily defeated it.    Just like those of the other Trainers on New Island, all of his Pok&eacute;mon were cloned by Mewtwo.     Bulbapedia
