Starscream is a Decepticon in the various fictional Transformers universes. He appeared in several incarnations in the related comics, animated television series, and movies. Most incarnations of the Starscream character are extremely ambitious and treacherous, but with varying degrees of strength and competence. Often, Starscream is the leader of a sub-group of Decepticon attack jets called the Seekers, and in many incarnations he is also second-in-command of the Decepticons.  He makes no secret of his ambition to overthrow Megatron as Decepticon leader. He is more intelligent than the average Decepticon, ruthless, and cruel; but, he is also a coward: He is unlikely to directly act on his ultimate ambition without, in advance, secretly getting enough fellow Decepticons to support him. He considers himself vastly superior to other Decepticons, and looks down on Megatron for being antiquated in his military strategy and tactics. Starscream believes that the Decepticons should rely more on guile and speed rather than brute destructive force to defeat the Autobots; although, even when Starscream is given the chance to strike out on his own, he is rarely more successful than Megatron -- often, considerably less. Megatron overlooks the potential threat that Starscream represents because he believes that Starscream is very good at his job. However, Starscream often exhausts Megatron's patience quickly; violent-yet-brief verbal and/or physical conflicts are not uncommon between the two. Usually, these result in Megatron treating Starscream in a humiliatingly dismissive manner. Christopher Charles Collins was an American actor, voice artist and comedian, perhaps best known as the voice of the Cobra Commander on the G.I. Joe animated series and Starscream on the first Transformers series. It is the year 2005. A huge black hole is about to swallow the entire universe, including the Transformers' home planet Cybertron.. Takaya Kuroda is a Japanese actor and voice actor affiliated with Axlone. And the lead singer of the rock band Takaya Kuroda & Goodfellas.

He is best known for his bass voice, which has usually seen him cast in villainous roles. Because of his vocal resemblance to the late [Hirotaka Suzuoki](https://anilist.co/staff/95572/), he was chosen to replace Suzuoki as the voice of [Starscream](https://anilist.co/character/3913/) in Transformers as Suzuoki's health deteriorated.

To the western audiences he is probably most known for providing the voice of Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the Yakuza video game series. Kuroda is also the man who sings the famous "Baka Mitai" song related to the series.

Starting off as 4koma and published online to promote the titular Transformers Legends toyline, with special Bonus Edition (出張版 Shutchōban) chapters of the comic packed with the toys themselves, it Initially showcased the misadventures of the Beast Wars cast re-imagined as adult Transformers fans, before eventually taking a more story-driven approach and attempting to connect all the entries of the Japanese Generation 1 anime and manga continuity into one storyline. 

Heavily marketed towards adult collectors and otaku in the face of the brand's dwindling popularity with children after TakaraTomy's largely unsuccessful first attempt in the mid-2000s, it attempted to change the image of the Transformers franchise, with much more "adult", often ecchi-filled humour and numerous references to fan culture.
 
Ulltimately concluded when TakaraTomy began a brand unification with Hasbro starting with Power of the Primes, deciding to mainly sell Hasbro toys as is with minimal changes to packaging. Set in the years 2004–2005 of the Japanese Generation 1 continuity, it tells the tale of a conflict between the Cybertrons and Destrons in which a set of dimensional fissures known as the Blastizone brings forth characters from across time and space to the present day on Earth, serving as a big crossover event between Generation 1, Beast Wars, Victory, Beast Wars II, and more, in honor of the Transformers brand's 20th anniversary. 
 
The series was published online through Takara's official website from 2004 to 2005, for a total of thirteen chapters. Each consisted of two pages and accompanying prose that expanded the comics' story. Being the longest-running of the Robotmasters fiction, the online chapters told the majority of the series's story and was the only one to see it through to a proper conclusion. Additionally, two physical comics, each four pages at length, were also published in catalogs packaged with the Robotmasters toys, and served as complementary in-between chapters to the online comic.

Episode 43.5, "Distribution", is a comedic special show which commemorates 500 episodes of Transformers in Japan (however, since that total includes assorted Japanese series, the west is still some distance away from this number). When aired in Japan, it did not air in the usual timeslot for Superlink, and is not in any sort of chronological order - It features the Autobots playing a video game training simulator, which they certainly do not have time to do between episodes 42 and 44.
