One of the members of the bounty hunting crew in the anime series Cowboy Bebop. Although appearing to be no more than her 23 years alive suggests, Faye is actually upwards of 74-years-old, having been put into cryogenic freeze after a space shuttle accident. During the course of the series (set in 2071), Faye manages to cross paths with Spike and Jet twice before she finally makes herself at home aboard their ship the second time, much to the consternation and disapproval of the two men, both of whom have their own reservations about women in general. Faye herself is brash, egotistical, and quite lazy, despite taking plenty of time to pamper and care for her own appearance. Faye has also been placed under arrest several times in the series and spends much time in handcuffs on the ship. She, at times, expects the boys to take care of bounties for her, while she sits by idly to reap the benefits and eat all their food, another source of conflict.  

Seemingly little more than a thorn in her partners’ sides, Faye is actually a well-rounded member of the team. She can handle herself exceptionally well for a woman of her slight appearance, displaying at least once in the series that she packs quite a mean punch. Adept at flying, Faye has stood her ground just as well as Spike has in an aerial dogfight in her ship Red Tail, at times even against Spike in an aerial dogfight. She also excels with guns, and is first seen in the series completely disabling a ship with a Heckler &amp; Koch MP5, though she is immediately apprehended afterward. In the movie, she is seen with the same gun, in addition to her normal companion: a Glock 30. Where Faye really shines, however, is with her mouth. She has an almost unstoppable attitude, and even her sometimes innocent smile can be seen as dangerous. Sarcastic and presumptuous, she rarely appears weak or in need of support. She brags and takes care of herself, never trusting others, cheating and lying her way from one day to the next.

At age nineteen, Shayla-Shayla is (initially) the youngest of the three priestesses. Holding true to the classic anime redhead stereotype, this tanned priestess' temper is as fiery as her hair, matching her control over the element of fire. Makoto, Fujisawa and Alielle first meet her when she rescues them from a Bugrom attack on Mt. Muldoon, but she runs off with Afura without hearing them out about their mission. When she first learns Makoto's true identity, she accuses him of being a pervert and tries to roast him, but after he saves her life when Ifurita awakens, she begins to have feelings for him. She also has a friendly rivalry with the wind priestess Afura Mann.  Shayla-Shayla in The Wanderers  Rather than be centralized in one location, the three priestesses each run a separate temple. Fittingly enough, Shayla's fire temple is located in a volcano. She is just as temper-driven as her OVA persona, but with the addition of being a heavy gambler. Maya Ibuki is a First Lieutenant at NERV and a computer technician who works primarily with Ritsuko Akagi. Her main role during the fights with the Angels is to constantly monitor the Eva pilots’ synchronization ratios and send various emergency commands to the Evangelions as ordered by Misato or Gendo. 

~!When Maya's Instrumentality occurs, Lilith (in the form of Ritsuko) types "I need you" into Maya's laptop and embraces her. Maya's reversion to LCL comes after an ecstatic gasp of "Senpai!" However, this scene is the only one that alludes to her possible feelings towards Ritsuko, and its intention is not clear.!~

In spite of her profession, Maya despises violence of any sort, and is frequently shown becoming nauseous and averting her eyes during battles with the Angels. Notably, in The End of Evangelion, Maya is the only NERV officer who is shown refusing to fight back against the JSSDF invaders. She rejects the gun Shigeru hands her to defend herself saying "I can't shoot this thing", not because she is unskilled, but because she has never shot it at a human being.

The attractive and intelligent recruit to the Department of City Security, Matsuya is pragmatic and fiercely independent. She is also talented and vicious at repelling Iwata&#039;s frequent leers and advances. The manga reveals that she and Iwata were college classmates and that, to her embarrassment, she bears him some genuine affection. She grows closer to Iwata as the series progresses, striking him far less frequently than normal. The only time she seems to feel the need to do so is when Iwata is being idiotic even by his standards, such as trying to track down Excel by telling a young woman that he&#039;s looking for &quot;Naked women&quot;. Yui Hongo is the Priestess of Seiryuu. An intelligent and mature girl, she is a tenth grade student and Miaka Yūki&#039;s best friend. A passionate person at heart, she tends to see the world in black and white terms and is easily infuriated by perceived betrayal. Yui is confident and bold with everything she does, but longs for someone to take care of her. It is revealed in the manga that Yui cut her hair to avoid all the attention she was getting from boys.    Yui is initially transported to &quot; The Universe of Four Gods&quot; with Miaka, but almost immediately returns to the real world and becomes the one who reads the book in order for events in the world to progress. However, she becomes trapped in the book while trying to help Miaka return to the real world. Afterwards, bandits capture Yui and knock her unconscious. When she regains consciousness, she believes she has been raped and, distraught, attempts to kill herself. Nakago rescues her and convinces her that Miaka is responsible for Yui&#039;s misfortunes, leaving Yui unaware that Nakago had saved her before the incident involving the bandits and that she had not been raped at all. He manipulates Yui into becoming the Priestess of Seiryū, convincing her that it will allow Yui to take revenge on Miaka. She eagerly agrees, swearing to fight Miaka and to take away her lover, Tamahome, whom Yui has become attracted to.

She is brought back to life by the ogress Urasue. Although she looks alive, her body is still "dead," and she must ingest the souls of the dead to move.    ~!Her body (an authentic one) is made of mud and leaves and hosts a portion of Kagome's soul. Still under the impression that Inuyasha had betrayed her, she tried to kill him and drag him to hell upon her reunion with him. However, after learning from her sister Kaede that Naraku was behind her death and that he had turned her and Inuyasha against each other, she decides to dedicate her time in the earthly realm to kill him.  Though she acts cold towards Inuyasha and in numerous times implies that they were through, she still has feelings for him, and at the begining of the series displays jealousy towards her reincarnation, Kagome. Though, instead of acting on her feelings and jealousy, she distances herself from Inuyasha and his group and continues to pursue Naraku alone. And during her journey, she gradually casts away her bitterness and returns to her older compassionate self. She ends up saving Kohaku and Miroku's lives, and in the end dies peacefully in arms of InuYasha after being attacked by Naraku.!~

Erina joins the Nadesico at the same time as Nagare and proves to be just as irritating to the other characters.  Her official post is co-helmswoman, but she ends up pushing orders onto everyone around and even the captain.  She has a great fascination with Akito because of his boson jumping abilities and constantly confronts him to become a experiment guinea pig.  In episode 22, she cries when Akito leaves, which may hint at her feelings for him.  She makes a really brief appearance in the movie.

Sophia Forrester is the Silvana's nineteen-year-old first officer and holds the title Vice-Captain. Another graduate of the Anatoray Officer's Academy along with Vincent Alzey, she is one of the few people Alex Row trusts and is often seen left in command of the ship when the Captain is out in pursuit of his own agenda. Interestingly Sophia was assigned to be an onboard spy to reveal data anything to the emperor, but Sophia fell in love with Alex and never revealed anything compromising about Alex. Somehow the whole crew either figured it out or they found out Sophia was a spy, but also truly loves Alex and won't betray the Silvana crew. Her feelings for Alex and sometimes reveals too much, much to Row's chagrin in his sometimes snarky comments to her. Sophia is of royal heritage and the daughter of the Anatoray emperor.

She is Orphen's foster sister, best friend, and the Bloody August. They were in the same orphanage and came to the Tower of Fangs together, believed to be magical-prodigies. She tutored him a lot, and gave him special attention. She was a great sorcerer—maybe one of the greatest. However, she had two sides to her: the kind, loving Azalie and the, as Orphen says, "scary" Azalie. After having her love declaration to someone else rejected, she seemed to be almost obsessed with her studies; she wanted more power, and one of her experiments turned her into Bloody August—the name given to the dragon that first appeared in August. ~!Utena’s parents died when she was six years old. On that day she was wandering around, lost, and she fell through a hole in a fence that enclosed a river area. Utena nearly drowned but was saved by a mysterious Prince who kissed away her tears and told her that if she did not lose her noble heart, they would meet again. He left with her a rose signet ring (the Rose Seal as it is called by the duelists). She encounters the Prince, and -for reasons which eventually become key to the show's resolution- this encounter created in her the drive to become a Prince herself. Utena does not remember much of this encounter, and for the most part Utena herself does not clearly remember the full details of her history, until the very end. Later on, Utena receives picture cards that give her clues as to where her prince is. By following these clues, she finds herself at Ohtori Academy. Utena accidentally becomes a Duelist and wins Anthy as the Rose Bride. Though critical of the Duels for objectifying Anthy, her honest desire to protect Anthy as well as a drive to act like a prince lead her to become an active participant. As the series passes, her nobility is continuously tested, until she is finally forced to confront her own hypocrisy.!~ 

__The Adolescence of Utena:__

~!Utena travels to Ohtori Academy after supposedly breaking up with her past boyfriend Touga. It is also assumed that after her separation with Touga she was in an emotional turmoil that led her to the academy. However, she sees him on her first day on campus. Her hair is cut short, giving her more of a male's appearance, causing Saionji to initially mistake her for a boy. Additionally, Utena is a bisexual character, being coquettish with Wakaba and does not seem to mind her more boyish appearance. She is extremely troubled by Touga's apparent abandonment of her, and her interactions with Anthy express a level of introversion not present in the anime series, though she also shows an unpredictable streak and is once physically violent towards Anthy in anger. This is said by fans to be Utena's adoption of a more masculine personality. Initially Utena's aim to be a prince is more subtle than prominent compared to the anime series. It is Touga's supposed abandonment of her that caused her to feel that she must be more independent and a "prince" by nature. Though she states that Touga was always the prince she wanted. The movie deals with her own metamorphosis in becoming a prince. Utena and Anthy seemingly swap personalities in the movie, and that Utena is the one who must be saved by Anthy. Their physical appearances also seem to mirror their respective series incarnations, seeing that Utena has wavy hair and Anthy has straight hair which was the opposite in the series.!~


Mihoshi Kuramitsu is a Galaxy Police detective in the fictional Tenchi Muyo! anime and manga series. Her given name &quot;Mihoshi&quot;, literally means &quot;Beautiful Star&quot;, and is derived from a town in the Okayama Prefecture formerly known as Bisei.    In the OVA, Mihoshi is a Seniwan and a member of the Kuramitsu family, whose power is second only to the Jurai Royal Family.    Mihoshi is known as one of the finest officers in the Galaxy Police, but her career soon hit a major roadblock after an incident hinted at in the 4th episode of the 1st OVA, and the 4th episode of the 3rd one (it has been alluded that the incident involved an arranged marriage, which would factor in Misao&#039;s attack later in the series). It&#039;s revealed in the True Tenchi novels, that Mihoshi fell in love with the man she was supposed to marry and he left and broke her heart and she proceeded in commiting suicide and then was revived by the Kuramitsu family, the consequences being her incompetence and her near invulnerability.    Mihoshi is actually the great-great-granddaughter of Washu, through her son Mikumo, although this is only stated outside the series itself, and her grandfather Minami Kuramitsu is the Grand Marshall of the Galaxy Police. Mihoshi&#039;s mother Mitoto also works for the Galaxy Police, as a cleaning lady. She also has a younger brother, Misao, who had married Mashisu Makibi. Whether her kinship with and ability to constantly circumvent one of the 11-dimensional Chousin goddesses is a sign that she&#039;s yet another of the series&#039; transcendental anomalies is unconfirmed at this point. However, it is noteworthy that her mother Mitoto has a reminiscent ability to subconsciously travel vast interstellar distances. Whether she shares her daughter&#039;s causuality-bending talent is unknown at this point, but Minami, Mikami and Misao apparently don&#039;t.    Although she tends to eat and sleep a lot, Mihoshi is very serious about her job in the G.P, doesn&#039;t mind helping out with regular household work, and seems better at it than Ryoko or Ayeka. She has been known to write very extensive and unstructured reports... cluttered with details, so it can sometimes take her superiors a while to figure them out. In fact, because her report on the Kagato incident included detailed information on the Jurai royal trees, her report is now TOP SECRET with Jurai Intelligence (Funaho Jurai once confessed to Washu that it took Jurai Intelligence four days to summarize the report). A duplicate report, omitting the sensitive information, was submitted in its place.

Chi-Chi (チチ, Chichi) is the wife of Son Goku, and the mother of Son Gohan and Son Goten. She is often depicted as a sometimes nagging, overprotective but fundamentally well-meaning woman, who sincerely looks for her children and husband's well-being even when their views clash. She and Goku meet as children, and Goku promises to marry her thinking marriage is food. Several years later, she finds him at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai, and despite confessing that he misunderstood what she had meant, he fulfills his promise and asks her to marry him. As she gets older, she disapproves of Goku's lifestyle, enough to ban Gohan from following in his foot steps, but due to the threats like Vegeta and Freeza, she is forced to let him train under Piccolo and Goku. She relaxes this with Goten by training him herself while Gohan is away for school. She has a wild temper and can react in violent anger over the slightest annoyance which means all of the Z Warriors fear her and try to avoid making her mad. Sarah Bryant is a college student from San Francisco, CA that debuted in the original Virtua Fighter. According to the game's story, Sarah, eldest daughter of the Bryant family becomes suspicious of the circumstances surrounding her brother Jacky's horrible accident in the 1990 Indianapolis 500. While investigating this accident, a mysterious group called Judgment 6 kidnapped and brainwashed her. Her innate fighting sense aroused by the brainwashing, Sarah was sent into World Martial Arts Tournament to deliver the knock-out blow to her brother Jacky. She fights with Martial Arts, which includes a bit of Savate, Taekwondo and Karate style. However, it seems that her style still has some characteristics like Flamingo stances, grappling, etc.

Since the end of the third tournament, Sarah has fully regained her memories. Life went back to normal for all the Bryants, but Sarah still felt a twinge of uncertainty. Even though she has recovered, she remembered all the bad things she had done while under the Organization's control. Worst of all, she remembers trying to kill Jacky. She is also unable to remember clearly enough if the desire to kill Jacky was a result of J6's brainwashing, or if it was part of her own wishes all along. When she finds out that Jacky intends to join the fourth tournament, she decides to do so as well, so that she can beat Jacky and resolve matters once and for all.
