Shugo Kunisaki is a player who wins a special chibi version of Kite&#039;s avatar in a contest developed by Aura. He originally believes himself to have outgrown video games, but after winning the character along with his sister, Rena, who won a version of BlackRose&#039;s avatar, the two join the game. He lacks planning skills and is incapable of turning down the requests of others. He is given a version of Kite&#039;s Twilight Bracelet by Aura that does not harm humans. Aura&#039;s plan is to motivate Shugo by allowing him to be a hero, after meeting and talking to him using another player&#039;s character in the past.

Is the main character of the series. Ikkou is able to release a powerful but uncontrollable power when confronted with his earthly desires. Each time, the aftermath of his awakening,he will bear a face of lust,and will &quot;attack&quot; Chitose,who always respond with attacks that knock him out. He is always gutless when it comes to the girls he lives with. Especially with the case of Chitose. He is what would be figuratively called a doormat even up to the end of the second season. In some episodes he is struck by the other characters more than a half dozen times before the halfway part of an episode. Shusui is Ouka's twin brother. He is the younger of the twins. He and his sister are not actually homunuculi. He becomes an Alchemy Warrior as well after LXE falls. He's smart, the best at Kendo at Ginsei High, along with being the vice president of the Student Council, and as Kazuki and the others state, No. 1 even in terms of genital size. In the anime, he was recruited by Chitose to be a part of the team dispatched to take out Victor, however, they were defeated and forced to retreat.

Kida is Mikado Ryuugamine's childhood friend and resident of Ikebukuro. Kida is an easy-going guy and appears foolhardy at times. He is 15 years old and is in class 1-B.   Mikado says that Kida used to be very energetic in elementary school and describes him as being quite charismatic. Kida seems to know many of the residents of Ikebukuro and he functions as a guide to Mikado.  He enjoys flirting with older girls and women although his passes usually aren't taken very well. 

~!He was the leader of the gang: Yellow Scarves. During his reign, he is referred as "Shogun" (i.e. "General") although he doesn't seem like to be referred to as that title. He is very strong fighter as demonstrated during the coup of the Yellow Scarves; he took down several opponents with crowbar before collapsing due to a wound on his head.  He left Ikebukuro with Saki at the end of the third novel, but joined the chat-room using alias "Bakyura" to keep in touch with Mikado. He is now working with Saki for Izaya. A plain boy no one seems to notice, Densuke was forced into the Eiken Club after an accidental run-in with Chiharu, whom he develops a crush on. He eventually accepts his place in the club, despite being tormented by Kirika and the other mishaps that befall him, i.e. being beaten, violently crushed (Kirika, Yuriko) or electrocuted (Kyoko) by other members. Densuke is frequently forced to cross-dress by Kirika, a hobby of hers.

Valya is the youngest member of First Squad and was originally from an orphanage, where he was mocked for his abilities. Was later transfered by Commander Below to a school for occult-military study. The main male lead, Yuusuke is perhaps the most "normal" of the boys at Kanenone. He is friends with the Baka Trio, but does not share their more perverted interests. Despite this, the Baka Trio consider Yuusuke to be a member of their group, and he usually finds himself forced or dragged along into involvement with their less-than-wholesome activities.  Yuusuke is implied to be the reincarnation of the boy from the tale of ill-fated lovers mentioned at the start of every episode, with Midori his partner. However, Yuusuke appears to have no recollection of his past, and initially responds to Midori's affectionate advances by either pushing her away or treating her harshly. Only after recovering his past memories does he fall in love with her. Yuusuke also finds himself liking the tomboyish Futaba Kutsuki, creating a love triangle between the three main characters. 

Omi is a second year student at Kouta&#039;s school who is in fact a sickle weasel with the power to control the wind. Omi was once the bitter enemy of the Minamoto siblings. In the fourth volume of the novels, he succeeds as the gang leader of the delinquents at his school. He hates the friendship between Kouta and his friends, and does not speak much. Jack is the one who meets Ginta Toramizu early in his adventure when he and Babbo stumble upon his garden. After Jack helps him beat the Rugelu Brothers (a pair of werewolves that were terrorizing Jack&#039;s home to claim the farm&#039;s vegetables), he and Ginta becomes best friends and joins Ginta on his journey.

Isami Fujiwara is Haruka's friend in the present timespace. He lives with his brother and grandmother, as their parents both died. He appears to be tough on the outside but has a fear for ghosts, and he is constantly nagging Yuu about being a &quot;mama's boy&quot; and never doing anything but study and go to cram school. Yū and Isami are very close, with Yū's angsty, doubting nature offset by Isami's laid-back personality.    Isami is also friends with Ai, who has a hidden crush on him. Isami doesn't seem interested at first, since he seems to prefer older women like his teacher. However, there are some hints that he may be growing interested in Ai by the end.    In one future timespace, Isami becomes a delinquent after his grandmother dies and is separated from his brother. After a fight with another gang, he ends up losing an eye while trying to protect his friends, who consequently abandon him. With not much to live for, he was about to put a knife in the guy who slashed his eye, before the present timespace's Yū came along and told him he was the only one who could save Ai from killing herself. Kirito is a "solo" player, a player who hasn't joined a guild and usually works alone. He is also one of the very few people to have had the privilege to play in the beta testing period of Sword Art Online. His game alias, Kirito, is created by taking the syllables of the first and last Kanji of his real last and first names respectively: (Kirigaya Kazuto).

On the surface, Nagito is friendly and easygoing. He genuinely cares for his classmates and holds a lot of respect for ideals like love, friendship, and teamwork. However, he doesn't care for "ordinary, untalented people" such as himself and is extremely self-deprecating; he sees himself as "worthless trash" whose life has no value, something he brings up often. Nagito is also highly intelligent, usually solving the murders long before anyone else, though he doesn't share his findings easily.

Nagito has an extreme, twisted obsession with hope. He believes that hope is an absolute good that will always win in the end, and that anything done in the name of hope, even murder, is virtuous. He sees Ultimates as the embodiments of hope that are chosen at birth, and thinks they can strengthen that hope by facing and overcoming despair. He doesn't consider himself to be a "real" Ultimate, and instead wishes to sacrifice himself so that they can shine.

But over time Joseph starts to grow on him so much he is able to understand his strange thought pattern.

An American voice actor, former kickboxer, and martial arts instructor. He is the son of Debbie Rothstein and the late [Bob Papenbrook](https://anilist.co/staff/96008/), both of whom are also voice actors, and he is married to Samantha Papenbrook; they have a daughter named Ella Papenbrook, born on September 5, 2015. Bryce graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Political Science. Like his parents, Bryce does voices primarily in anime dubbing and video games.
