Kera (Smiley) gets his nickname from the words &ldquo;kera kera&rdquo; that Japanese use to describe the sound of laughter. Kera loves to clown around and often pokes fun at Yume. Despite his fondness for teasing, everybody likes him. He works as an assistant bartender at Pachanga, the salsa club owned by Oyamada.

Yume Kikuchi, a girl who can use magic, goes to Tokyo to be an apprentice mage to the handsome Masami Oyamada (a professional mage). In Tokyo, Yume learns about magic, helping people, and various other things on her way to being a mage. But she soon also finds out that even just magic alone isn't enough to make someone truly happy...

An American voice actor, former kickboxer, and martial arts instructor. He is the son of Debbie Rothstein and the late [Bob Papenbrook](https://anilist.co/staff/96008/), both of whom are also voice actors, and he is married to Samantha Papenbrook; they have a daughter named Ella Papenbrook, born on September 5, 2015. Bryce graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Political Science. Like his parents, Bryce does voices primarily in anime dubbing and video games.

He trained in the martial arts for over 16 years, and holds a fourth-degree black belt. He would go on to become a 3-time kickboxing champion with over 60 fights to his credit. He has been a kickboxing instructor at the House of Champions Academy of Martial Arts in Van Nuys, California.
