Nicknamed "Kawaiichi," Kawai was the school representative at Ishida's elementary school. She is popular and normally takes charge of situations and is shown to be kind to everyone; however, all her actions seem to have her academic reputation in mind. Kawai is also a narcissist who believes that everyone should love her, as well as wants to be the victim in every problem she faces.

~!Though she never actually insulted Nishimiya, Kawai did nothing to intervene and even laughed alongside her friends, making her also responsible for Nishimiya's transfer. Kawai's accusation of Ishida being a bully is a catalyst to his isolation among his classmates. Kawai becomes Ishida's classmate again in high school and takes part in Nagatsuka's film shooting, bringing Mashiba, whom she has a crush on, in tow. Later, when she tells the class that they will make paper cranes as a wish of recovery for Ishida, who is hospitalized after saving Nishimiya, her classmates are disgusted and secretly bully her. Having to experience the feeling of getting bullied for the first time, Kawai resolves to become more empathetic with others. At the end of the series, Kawai presents Ishida with the paper cranes made by their classmates and follows Mashiba to study to become a teacher.!~

Kanna is the first detachment of Naraku. She appears to be a ten-year-old girl with white hair and clothing. As a &quot;concealed incarnation&quot; of Naraku, Kanna has no scent and no demonic aura, making her undetectable to InuYasha&#039;s senses and immune to demonic aura-related effects such as the Hakurei-zan barrier. Kanna is the only incarnation that Naraku trusts with important information about his actions, allowing her to give orders in his place. Although she frequently bickers with Toji, she reveals to Asuka that she has an enormous crush on Toji but is unable to openly express her feelings to him. She also appears to be Asuka's only friend. After the battle with Arael, Asuka seeks out Hikari and stays with her for an unspecified time. During a late evening she reveals her inner insecurities to Hikari, a testament to their friendship; however, Hikari appears saddened by the hateful words Asuka uses.

_Hikari is named after a character in the novel The Fascism of Love and Fantasies (Ai to Gensou no Fascism) by Ryu Murakami. Her name, and that of her unseen younger sister, Nozomi, and elder sister, Kodama, is also in reference to the names of the trains of the Tokaido Shinkansen line._

Miach is one of Tuan's best high school friends. She is brilliant and intelligent, who doesn't agree with present world. Her personality is that of a calm and philosophical girl; she is very charismatic and capable of manipulating those around her to an impressive extent. She was a problem student with the best grades in the class, who only conversed with Tuan and Cian.

Miach is the one who influenced them in order attempt suicide as the ultimate act of rebellion against the world.
