Hikari Horaki is the class representative of the class that Shinji and the other Eva pilots attend. Like all of her classmates, she is an unknowing Eva pilot candidate. She has a by-the-book demeanor and takes her responsibilities as "class rep" seriously. Although she frequently bickers with Toji, she reveals to Asuka that she has an enormous crush on Toji but is unable to openly express her feelings to him. She also appears to be Asuka's only friend. After the battle with Arael, Asuka seeks out Hikari and stays with her for an unspecified time. During a late evening she reveals her inner insecurities to Hikari, a testament to their friendship; however, Hikari appears saddened by the hateful words Asuka uses.

In the year 2015, the Angels, huge, tremendously powerful, alien war machines, appear in Tokyo for the second time. Compilation recap movie for the series Shin Seiki Evangelion. Due to the struggling production of the movie 'End of Evangelion' delaying the film a month before it was set to release, this film was announced to 'hold fans over'. 

During the early 21st century a meteorite crashed into Antarctica. After scientists went to study the crash a gigantic explosion followed, classified as the 'Second Impact'. Shinji Ikari is a fourteen year-old boy who has come to Toyko3, a city that also serves as a fortress, to meet up with his father who left him many years ago. The city also happens to be under siege by monstrous creatures called 'Angels' at the time of his arrival. Somehow Shinji finds himself in Evangelion Unit 01, and manages to synchronize with the giant robot. Shinji is told to become its permanent pilot, and is thrown into combat as the city's last defense for fighting off the angels. However, as Shinji fights, he begins to realize the truth behind the Angels, the Second Impact, man's struggle against God and what he truly is afraid of.

The Gainax/Khara franchise spinoff spoofs the psychological science fiction drama by reimagining the characters as classmates in Tokyo-3's Nerv School, headed by Principal Gend&#333; Ikari and Misato-sensei. The student body includes three different Rei "sisters," the EVA-01 mobile weapon reimagined as the school bully Evanch&#333;, and the ill-fated Jet Alone robot as JA-ko, a "hidden character" in the form of a shy android girl. 
Ryuusuke Hamamoto created the character designs which has inspired four-panel gag manga serializations in four different magazines: Monthly Sh&#333;nen Ace, Newtype, Dengeki Hobby Magazine, and Figure Oh. In the franchise's story, Hayato Hayasugi, the train-loving son of a train museum curator, accidentally stumbles into his dad's secret research lab one day. Inside he finds the E5 bullet train. As soon as he enters, he hears an announcement that a mysterious enemy, the Bachigami ("bee god"), is attacking the city of New Saitama. Luckily, with the touch of his father's Shinca ("evolve") card, the bullet train he's in transforms into a mighty robot — the Shinkalion E5 Hayabusa. 

In the anime's story, Hayato and other children will serve as conductors to pilot the Shinkalion. The children must work together with the adults of the "Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute" (SUEI) to defeat a monster that looks like a jet black bullet train.

A group called the Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute was investigating a recent rash of monster attacks happening in Japan after the appearance of a mysterious Black Shinkansen. The SUEI had a major weapon for the fight - Shinkalions, bullet trains that can transform into giant mecha. One boy, Hayato Hayasugi, was a huge fan of trains and stumbled upon his father’s secret work for the SUEI. Surprisingly, Hayato soon became a Shinkalion driver! As perhaps Japan’s best chance of survival, Hayato and other kids take on the great responsibility of fighting otherworldly enemies. 

Now, a new giant enemy has come from space looking to conquer the planet. Although the SUEI have a new prototype Shinkalion known as the ALFA-X to take up the fight, Hayato’s father, Hokuto, disappears. A 9-year-old version of Hokuto leaps through time to the present to help fight the alien attackers and drives the ALFA-X!
