He repaid her favour by helping her during a crisis. Although she now knows his identity as a Joi participant, they are on friendly terms. Katsura's subsequent television interview was carried out at her restaurant. She also has a quite friendly relationship with Gintoki, as he's mentioned to frequently visit her store.

Chisato Chikaishi is a childhood friend and classmate of Kazuya Kagami.

Being an alien, Lala has far more strength, power and speed than the average human. Her physical strength (without any inventions or powers) surpasses any human on Earth, and maybe even some aliens in the solar system. She has also shown slight durability even with her own tongue, like when she ate one of Run's really spiced sandwiches and it didn't even phase her.

She can fire laser beams from her tail. However, her tail is both her weapon and her weakness. On Planet Deviluke, females' tails are far more sensitive than males'. When someone touches Lala's tail, she becomes weak and seems to lose her strength, though she can shake anyone off of her tail with her astonishing strength.

Perhaps Lala's most distinguishing ability is being an extraodinary inventor. She is considered a genius and has made many inventions. However, Lala very much has the personality of both a perky child and an absent-minded scientist, resulting in all of her inventions being very toy-like, troublesome, and serving no important purpose besides fun, mischief, and unintentional fanservice. A running gag in the plot is that her inventions usually do not work as well as Lala and the others had hoped, often resulting into a perverted accident.

Although usually gentle and caring, she can be short-tempered when embarrassed. She easily gets jealous when Murakami is "too close" to other girls (especially when Kazumi is seducing Murakami) and she would use her magic to destroy things around unconsciously. Rai’s arrival triggers a message from the previous Lord in which he explains he wanted his daughter to embrace freedom rather than carry the heavy burdens the Lord has to face. After hearing that, she has the feeling she doesn’t really deserve Rai’s Ragnarok, so she doesn’t accept it because she thinks she needs to earn it. This triggers a new message from the previous Lord in which he praises her because she made an important decision when not accepting Rai’s offer.!~
