When she refuses, Leo threatens to remain in the human world until she agrees, rendering Karen unable to summon any other Celestial Spirits. Karen continues to refuse, since she believes that he cannot remain in the human world for a long time; however, Leo leaves her with the ultimatum and goes to a deserted chapel where he stays for three months, attempting to get Karen to break the contracts. When Leo returns, he learns that Karen was killed on a mission and that Aries' key was taken.  Oracion Seis arc  After an exchange in the Spirit World, Aries is summoned to battle with Loke and Lucy Heartfilia. Despite the two not wanting to fight one other, they choose to fight for the sake of their pride, and the battle begins. However, due to Aries' non-combative nature, she fights a losing battle to Loke. As the battle progresses, Angel summons Caelum and uses it to blast through Aries and hit Loke, causing them both to return to the Celestial World for healing. After her defeat, Angel is arrested and her contracts with her spirits are broken. Aries, along with Scorpio and Gemini, seek out Lucy and form contracts with her instead.  Edoras arc  Lucy summons Aries to prevent the Edoras soldiers from capturing her and her friends. Aries then proceeds to attack the soldiers with a technique called "Wool Bomb", which allows Lucy and company to escape.!~

Rito's independent and reliable 11-year-old sister, Mikan takes care of the housework while their parents are away on business. In contrast to her brother, she is very mature and does not hesitate to tease him, going as far as stating they aren't blood related, just for a laugh. Mikan also seems to have a certain lack of respect for Rito because of this (she hardly ever addresses him by his honorific as an older brother), but does answer him "Onii-chan" as thanks for trying so hard to take care of her when she develops a fever. Mikan may not show it, but she cares very deeply for Rito and misses his company, and states how they used to play together before Lala entered their lives. Mikan grows quite attached to Golden Darkness, perhaps due to Darkness seemingly being the same age as her. Mikan is very perceptive and seems to be able to read people's emotions, even their reactions, most of which is Rito's obvious anxiety around Haruna and Yui's more than subtle feelings for him (Mikan even calls him a "playboy" for attracting so many girls).

Kazuki Kosuda is the older sister of Takashi who is a college student living at home. Though often teasing her brother she deeply cares for him. She is also not shy, and often walks around the house naked or barely dressed despite her brother being there.

The main character. A very powerful witch that hates conflicts, because of this she interferes with any violence including battles, by summoning mystical creatures that are really big. Although the heavens take notice of Maria's actions and the Archangel (and Saint) Michael comes down making a decree that if Maria loses her virginity she will also lose her powers. Ezekiel, an angel dispatched by Michael, is left to keep an eye on Maria, making sure she doesn't tip the "scales". 

~!It's shown in the anime that Maria was not accepted into villages before she reached the village where Martha lived during a plague. Also as a result, she becomes one of the few people outside of his family that knows of his powers.

Yuji's classmate. Matake is a strong-willed physically active girl, as well as a bit of a tomboy. She also has feelings for Eita, and worries about his well-being.

The Mother is the Servamp of Wrath and the fourth oldest of the eight Servamps. The Mother is currently under a temporary contract with [Izuna Nobel](https://anilist.co/character/230115/Izuna-Nobel) as her Eve. She is also the only female Servamp.
