Rito's independent and reliable 11-year-old sister, Mikan takes care of the housework while their parents are away on business. In contrast to her brother, she is very mature and does not hesitate to tease him, going as far as stating they aren't blood related, just for a laugh. Mikan also seems to have a certain lack of respect for Rito because of this (she hardly ever addresses him by his honorific as an older brother), but does answer him "Onii-chan" as thanks for trying so hard to take care of her when she develops a fever. Mikan may not show it, but she cares very deeply for Rito and misses his company, and states how they used to play together before Lala entered their lives. Mikan grows quite attached to Golden Darkness, perhaps due to Darkness seemingly being the same age as her. Mikan is very perceptive and seems to be able to read people's emotions, even their reactions, most of which is Rito's obvious anxiety around Haruna and Yui's more than subtle feelings for him (Mikan even calls him a "playboy" for attracting so many girls).

__Introduction__
Kana Hanazawa is a voice actress, actress, singer, former child actress, and talent represented by Office Osawa. In July 2020, she married fellow voice actor [Kensho Ono](https://anilist.co/staff/95819), whom she had been dating since 2017. They separated in 2025 due to differences in lifestyle, which made it difficult to spend time together. 

__Early Career__
Hanazawa originally became a child actress at the age of 8. Amongst other roles, she starred in the well-known TV school show _Appare Sanma Daisensei_ and the TV series _Gakkou no Sensei_. At that time she was contracted to Big Apple, and later to Five Eight and Smile Monkey.

__Voice Acting Career__
At the age of 14, she made her voice acting debut in 2003 as Holly in _[Last Exile](https://anilist.co/anime/97/)_. Three years later in 2006, she was selected for a major role in TV Tokyo's anime mecha series _[Zegapain](https://anilist.co/anime/878/)_. She was playing the main character's childhood friend, [Kaminagi Ryouko](https://anilist.co/character/2578/), and her performance was one of the main reasons for the character's popularity amongst fans. It was afterwards that she came under contract at prestigious voice acting talent agency Office Osawa in 2007.

Hanazawa went to university in 2007, while at the same time, she began to make her mark as a voice actress. She was voted in 2010 as "Best Female Voice Actress" by listeners of the radio program Nonko and Nobita's Anime Scramble. She graduated from university in 2011, and in the same year became a full-time voice actress.

Hanazawa won Best Supporting Actress at the 9th Seiyuu Awards for her role as [Kosaki Onodera](https://anilist.co/character/52723/) in _[Nisekoi](https://anilist.co/anime/18897/)_. She also won Newtype's Best Voice Actress award in 2015 and later in 2018.

__Music Career__
On February 23, 2012, it was announced that Hanazawa would launch her official website. A few days later, during the Kana Hanazawa Solo Debut Presentation Party event, it was announced that she would release four singles within a year: "Hoshizora Destination" on April 25, "Hatsukoi no Oto" released on July 18, "Happy Endings" on October 24 (an ending theme for _[Zetsuen no Tempest](https://anilist.co/anime/14075/)_), and "Silent Snow" on January 16, 2013. Her first album Claire was released on February 20, 2013, and her second album 25 was released on February 26, 2014. She released an album title Blue Avenue in April 2015 and went on a concert tour starting at the Nippon Budokan on May 3. The Blu-ray release of the show, Live Avenue Kana Hanazawa in Budokan, ranked number six in sales.

Brittney Marie Karbowski is an American voice actress who has voiced in a number of English-language versions of Japanese anime series for ADV Films, Funimation and Sentai Filmworks, most notably, Black Star in Soul Eater. Lala invents a gizmo to make her bust bigger. However, this invention of hers accidentally turns Rito into a woman. 
 
Episode 2: Rito and Mikan 
Feeling lonely because Rito is always spending time with Lala, Mikan storms out of the house. While Rito and Lala are out looking for her, a few flashbacks from the past showing Rito and Mikan as kids are shown. 
 
Episode 3: Welcome to the Southern Resort!! 
Haruna wins an island resort trip for ten females. Rito gets turned into a dog by one of Lala's inventions and somehow ends up on the island as well. 
 
Episode 4: Trouble Quest 
Rito and the girls become trapped inside an RPG game where the objective is to save Lala and defeat the evil witch Kyouko. 
 
Episode 5: Nana and Momo 
Lala's sisters cause mischief for Rito and his harem at a cherry blossom viewing. 
 
Episode 6: Draft, Metamorphose, Hand & Tail 
Yami and Yui confront with a senior, causing Yui to lose her panties; Mikan finds Peke taking snapshots of new clothing while shopping. Suddenly, a stranger steals her bag; As Rito tries to explore Lala's cleaned-up bedroom, he accidentally activates one of Lala's inventions, fusing his hand to Lala's tail.
