Aya is Shinobu's classmate. She has also been friends with Youko since middle school. Aya is bright and graceful, though at the same time, she is very shy, timid but still occasionally displays tsundere tendencies towards Youko.  Aya usually has troubles reading the atmosphere, which often leads to comedic moments in the series, though despite this, she is still one of the most level headed people in the group.   ~!Aya often gets teased and complimented by a dense Youko. This always leads to Aya having romantic cliche thoughts and sometimes results in her hitting Youko due to embarrassment.!~

She was a kindergarten playmate of Kotoura Haruka.

Saki is the main character and narrator of the story. Saki is a new student at the magic school, “Saint Academy”. Once she joins Saint Academy, she hangs out with Satoru, Maria, and Shun, her friends from Wakien Elementary School, as well as Mamoru, her new classmate. While she's not shy, she is sensitive and delicate.

Mei's classmate and friend who has a complex about her large chest. She hates that people always stare at it and that no one seems to like her for her. She idolizes Yamato because he defended her in middle school, and wishes for a prince of her own to protect her.

Yukari Hinata is a member of the Data Processing Club, along with Yuzuko and Yui. She is kind of an airhead, and she will often copy Yuzuko's antics if she finds them amusing.

Mirai Kuriyama is the deuteragonist of the Kyoukai no Kanata series. She is a first-year student and a member of the school's Literary Club. She comes from a bloodline of Spirit World Warriors who possess blood-manipulation abilities. However, because these abilities are considered heretical among the Spirit World Warrior clans, she is shunned. After meeting Kambara Akihito she started opening up to people and relating to them again.

Being a magician Kuroha has the power to destroy any inanimate object, as well as transferring power when in direct contact with organic beings. Her power is so strong that while being in the lab, she had to undergo multiple extensive tests. As a result, Kuroha has almost completely forgotten her childhood memories, with only a few bits of emotion lingering.

Although usually gentle and caring, she can be short-tempered when embarrassed. She easily gets jealous when Murakami is "too close" to other girls (especially when Kazumi is seducing Murakami) and she would use her magic to destroy things around unconsciously. She is very puzzled by this reaction.

Yukina Himeragi is the female protagonist of the series. She is an attack mage, or in the Lion King Organization, a Sword Shaman, who is sent by the Lion King Organization to observe the Fourth Primogenitor, Kojou Akatsuki. As she's appointed to observe him, she became a middle-school student studying in Saikai Academy who follows him everywhere and is also ordered to kill him if he becomes too powerful and insane to control himself. ~!She is also the first blood mate of Kojou, and thus being the first, her blood smell is always associated with Kojou's own smell, which has been pointed out many times by other characters who could smell blood, probably due to her blood interbreeding with Kojou's as she was the one who activated Kojou's first 'real' vampiric act. Also, unknown to her, she was intended and prepared by the Lion King Organization to be his lover.!~

Rize is a tough and headstrong girl. She secretly holds insecurity of not fitting in and can sometimes feel lonely; for example, while she is an independent and physically strong person, she tries to act like an average teenage girl (even going as far as to pretend she can't lift a bag of coffee beans) so that she can appear more relatable to her friends. Rize can be blunt with her opinions and often acts as the voice of common sense in the group.

She is a part-time worker at the Rabbit House Cafe. Her father is a soldier, which is why she is quite strict and carries around a pistol for protection; however, Rize is quite vulnerable against cute things, and also has a vivid imagination which can run away with her sometimes

Kaori is Tsubaki's classmate, a free-spirited violinist who had drawn many criticisms from the judge panel due to her unwillingness to follow the score, but is highly favored by her audience. Kaori met Kousei when she requested Tsubaki to set her up with Watari. 

She is a quiet bookworm. She loves Touko very much and is over protective of her. She also seemes to know of Yukinari's feelings for Touko, and doesn't like Okikura sue to his suspicion relationship with Touko.

She is a senior student and the president of the Literature Club. She is normally seen reading books, and there are hints that she has feelings for Andou. Her power is "Root of Origins" in which anyone she touches returns to his or her original state, although the exact nature of this remains vague. She a very refine girl, whose other hobbies, besides reading, includes ikebana, origami, and martial arts.

For some reason, she dislikes being called "cute."

An upbeat girl who was kicked out of the Rest of Higashi Murayama Kitatama Dangers after trying to save the Hiroshi Town Propellers who were taken hostage. She is quick to resort to brute force when things go wrong. Ends up joining Nozomi's group.

A mysterious figure who watches Souta and his interactions with the various girls. Though she seems antagonistic, she has also helped them out, such as eliminating a renegade android attacking Souta, Nanami, and Hakua.

One of the two main heroines in the manga, Erina is initially the primary antagonist of Sōma Yukihira, until this develops into more of a friendship. Erina is the only daughter of Azami Nakiri and an unnamed mother who is Senzaemon's biological daughter. Erina often detests whoever is considered "common" due to her regal pedigree and status within the Tōtsuki organization. Her "God Tongue" can accurately describe the taste and composition of any food, and she gives harsh critiques to chefs and students alike. However, there have been rare occasions where she gives credit to chefs with skill. She had been promoted as the Elite Ten's 10th seat as a middle-schooler.

A girl who fights with enemies in order to protect the "Box of Wisdom." A quiet girl who doesn't speak many words, she meets Rimo when she is being attacked. This pushes Dual to move and search for the truth of the girl's identity. Through their meeting, the gears begin to move.

On September 1, 2016, Office Osawa announced that Taneda would put her career on hiatus to focus on treatment for her throat, various roles she done were recast during this time such as Erina Nakiri from Food Wars who was replaced by Hisako Kanemoto from Season 3 and onwards.

On August 4, 2017, Office Osawa announced that her treatment was successful and she would gradually return to voice acting.
