Hinamori is an upbeat and easygoing girl who gets along with nearly everyone she meets. Hinamori is generally quite trusting, but also very impulsive and naïve. She greatly admires her former captain, Sōsuke Aizen, whom she became a shinigami just to serve under, and Hinamori refuses believing that Aizen intentionally betrayed Soul Society. Her appearance is fairly ordinary compared to other shinigami in Soul Society. She wears her hair up in a bun with a cloth wrapped around it. According to Tite Kubo, Hinamori's name was changed at the last minute; she had a completely different name in the sketch stage.  Hinamori grew up in Junrinan, District 1 of Rukongai, along with Tōshirō Hitsugaya. While Hitsugaya tended to be a bit of a brat as a child and insisted that he would protect her, Hinamori found him amusing and treated him in an older sisterly fashion, and the two became close friends, with Hinamori giving him the nickname Shiro-chan (little Shiro in English Anime). When Hinamori entered the shinigami academy, she excelled at kidō. It was there that she met Kira and Renji, who soon became her friends and, later, her fellow lieutenants. They were placed in the 5th Division of the Gotei 13 under Captain Aizen and his lieutenant, Gin Ichimaru. While Kira and Renji would later leave to other Divisions, Hinamori remained in the 5th Division and became the division's lieutenant (through much hard work, as noted by Hitsugaya). 

Hinamori's zanpakutō is Tobiume (飛梅, lit. flying plum tree). The command for its shikai is "snap" (弾け, hajike?). [Her zanpakuto is a kido type] It's Shi-kai form is like a rod with branches  Shikai Special Ability: In this form, Tobiume acts as a focus for Momo's spiritual power, concentrating it into energy bursts capable of cratering floors and breaching walls. Momo can also compress her power into massive energy spheres and toss them from the blade's tip.

Misa is a famous model, singer and actress and has an immense crush on Light Yagami. She usually refers to herself in the third person by calling herself "Misa-Misa" and tends to be hyperactive. 

She poses as the second Kira to attract the attention of the first Kira. She decides to devote her life to Light because he punished the criminal that killed her parents when she was younger; a burglar killed Misa's parents in front of her eyes. Misa, unable to forgive the killer and wanting to kill the burglar herself, saw multiple delays in the killer's trial before Kira killed him. Yoko is a modest and friendly person whose fame hasn't got into her head and is devoted to her friends and fans; perhaps one of the reasons she has remained popular to this day. 

Yoko first met [Conan,](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa) [Kogoro](https://anilist.co/character/1746/Kogoro-Mouri) and his daughter [Ran](https://anilist.co/character/1748/Ran-Mouri) when she asked for Kogoro's help in apprehending a stalker who had even penetrated her apartment _(and of course, Kogoro would not hesitate to take the case)._ But in the apartment they found an unknown man impaled upon a knife, turning this case into a murder investigation. Soon, however, Conan figured out that the 'victim' had actually committed suicide: The man was Akiyoshi Fujie, Yoko's old boyfriend who still loved her. Due to a fatal misunderstanding, involving Fujie mistaking Yuko for Yoko, Akiyoshi fell into despair and plunged himself onto a knife, making it appear as if he had been murdered by Yoko in order to take revenge on her. Luckily, Conan found out the truth before damage could be inflicted on Yoko's career.

Overcoming her grief, Yoko has carried on her career and has remained a friend and valuable contact to Kogoro and Conan in the TV and idol industry ever since. She has also gone on to appear in several movies, such as "Kiss Note" and "Zombie Blade". 

Kogoro Mouri is completely infatuated with the young popstar and has all of her appearances in movies and music on tape and DVD, and has even once appeared on her cooking show. Yoko in turn considers Mouri, Ran, and Conan to be good friends. She often suggests Kogoro for participation in her TV shows and commercials, and often invites him, Ran and Conan to parties and dinners. However, the latter often tend to evolve into murder cases.

 __Background Information:__    Teletha &quot;Tessa&quot; Testarossa is the clumsy but charming Captain of the revered TDD-1 &#039;Tuatha de Danaan&#039; submarine of the anti-terrorist organization &#039;Mithril&#039;. She is American by birth but has lived on submarines and military bases for the majority of her life time. She is a child prodigy who rose to such a high rank at the age of only 16, has silver hair and grey eyes.      ~!Later revealed as being a Whispered, her high level of mathematical and scientific adeptness is dwarfed only by her brother&#039;s, which seems to have given her a sense of inferiority.!~     She is also  not very athletically inclined, but has shown to be a very good swimmer. She has an interest in Sousuke that extends beyond a professional one, generating a love triangle she shares with Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori. Even though Chidori and Tessa seem to compete against each other for Sousuke, they are good friends in reality, as during several episodes they talk about Sousuke and his unique military charm. Tessa is also one of the chief designers of the TDD-1 &#039;Tuatha de Danaan&#039;, and the creator of Dana, the submarine&#039;s Artificial Intelligence.       __Characteristics:__    Tessa has a lot of interesting qualities. Her subordinates are what she cares with the most. She is also very smart when it comes to battlefield tactics and conflicts and she displays some very impressive military prowess and strategy at several points. She also seems to have a nervous habit of playing with her ponytail.    Sometimes however, as stated by Kurz Weber, &quot;whenever Tessa was told by someone she couldn&#039;t do something, she made it a point to prove them wrong&quot;. Tessa seems to have some trouble tolerating her job at times due to the position she has. Some scenes have shown her irritated by what she does while other scenes show her slightly depressed by it. Second Lieutenant Maria Ross is put in charge of taking care of the Elric brothers during their stay in Central. She and her partner Brosh were assigned the task of guarding the Elrics due to Scar&#039;s return in Central and his previous attempt on Ed and Al&#039;s lives. Almost immediately, she takes on the role of a parental figure. She tries to give guidance to the brothers whenever she can. She took a liking to Ed and Al, and risked her life to calm Ed down when he was absorbing the red stone material inside laboratory 5. She is currently the 3-A class president and is among the highest scorers on school exams, where she was last seen as ranked 4th in her whole grade. She and Asuna seem to hate each other, with the two often getting into fights, but it eventually becomes clear that they merely have an odd, but surprisingly close friendship that neither is willing to admit to. She is the girl most overtly fond of Negi, though she stands by the position that she is only interested in Negi because he "needs a mother figure". Though she is highly intelligent, she can often be clueless in relation to the events surrounding her. Thus, many of her classmates incorrectly think of her as a fool (even if they won't say so out loud).

Chiyoko grew up in the middle of World War II Japan, running a sweets shop with her controlling mother, when she is approached by the director of a film studio and is asked to perform in the studio&#039;s upcoming movie. Chiyoko&#039;s mother, without a word from Chiyoko, steps in and bluntly turns them away, calling acting a &quot;dubious profession.&quot;    Later the same day, Chiyoko is accidentally knocked down by a mysterious man running from police officers. Despite his hurried state, he takes the time to help Chiyoko to her feet and apologize for running into her. This act of kindness sticks out to Chiyoko, and so she sends the officers away from the man as he hides. She allows the man to stay in her store room in secret, where he tells her stories of his home, and how he hopes to finish his painting of the snowy landscape, once the war is over. Chiyoko is soon introduced to a skeleton key around the man&#039;s neck, which he addresses as the key to &quot;the most important thing there is.&quot; Chiyoko asks that the man wait until the next day to tell her what the most important thing is.    Unfortunately, this chance never comes. Chiyoko returns to school to find the police discovered the man hiding in her store room, and finds his key outside, covered in blood from the man&#039;s injuries. The store clerk hints to Chiyoko that he fled to the train station, and Chiyoko hurries to follow him. She ultimately does not make it in time to stop him, and makes a promise that she will return the man&#039;s key to him no matter what. This drives her to sway from her mother&#039;s wishes, and Chiyoko begins making movies.

A fellow Peacemaker like Cz, who comes to retrieve Cin who she claims is Cz in compressed form. She proves this by using her powers to revert Cin/Suin into what looks like an adult version of Cin/Suin. Of the Peacemakers, Steyr despises humans the most, angered at the 5000 years of &quot;humans killing humans&quot; she has seen. However, she is unaware that the Peacemakers, including her, are Valkyrie Types - an upgraded version of a Dragoon, and that she was created by humans, but got brainwashed into working for the enemy. Steyr's name is also mentioned as Stella. In her normal humanoid form, Steyr looks like a beautiful human woman with long pale blonde hair. Unlike Cz, Steyr is a civilian type cosmos guardian. Cheza is the Flower Maiden, a girl who was artificially created from a Lunar Flower by the noble Darcia the First using the lost art of alchemy. First appearing in a state of suspended animation within a scientific research lab, she was awakened by the smell of wolf's blood spilled in the brief fight between Tsume and Kiba. After the wolves steal her away, she is pursued by various other characters, forcing the pack to protect her constantly. She shares a special bond with the wolves and is the key to finding Paradise. She was Kamui&#039;s very close childhood friend, and despite his initial coldness when he returns to her life, remains steadfastly kind to him.  In the TV series, her dream is to become an indigo dyesmith (in the style of Japan&#039;s Edo period), well aware of the commitment necessary, and she spends time in her school&#039;s library reading up on the subject.     ~!Kotori was an important key to making Kamui choose one of the two sides.    She was destined to die by the second Kamui, the only thing that was left to fate was whether Kamui was going to kill her or Fuma.    However, since Kamui decides that the only thing he wants is to protect her (and thus indirectly saying he will join the Seals to protect humanity so that Kotori won&#039;t die), the person that finally kills her is Fuma.    The way she dies in the manga and in the XTV series varies a little. In the manga, she dies by being stabbed in the chest with a sword but her body ends up being dismembered when the wires that kept her tied to the cross slice her body to pieces (manga only).    In the manga Kamui keeps her severed head and buries it. In the TV series, her body isn&#039;t chopped to pieces and Kamui buries her entire body. In the movie, Kotori dies when the second Sacred Sword is removed from her body. When Fūma first attempts to do it, entering the dreamscape with such a purpose, Kotori actually escapes with Kamui&#039;s help and reaches Hinoto&#039;s room where he&#039;s waiting, but ultimately Fūma catches her and pulls the Sacred Sword out of his sister&#039;s belly with his bare hands, killing her much to Kamui and everyone else&#039;s horror (Arashi, Sorata and Hinoto are also there). Most likely the most beautiful girl at school, Naie becomes friends with Sunako in order to become closer to Takenaga, though genuinely values her friendship with Sunako and greatly admires her abilities. She is Sunako's first female friend and stands up for her when their classmates make fun of her. Because of her quick temper and romantic notions, she and Kyouhei often argue, particularly in regards to Sunako. Naie loves Takenaga unfailingly, but often questions the nature of their relationship as Takenaga is too shy to make his feelings toward her more explicit. A mysterious and shy dark-skinned girl whose sometimes vapid expression and superficial politeness seem to mask something deeper. Many people project their wants or desires onto her, and she's often the target of their eventual rage or hate. Her "doormat" behavior belies a far more complex personality.

Anthy appears to house the Sword of Dios within her own body. At the beginning of a duel, she slips into a trance and the Sword manifests, protruding from her chest so that her champion may draw it from her. This Sword is said to be a key to reaching the goal of Revolution, and in her position as the Rose Bride Anthy is said to be the key to obtaining it.
~!Anthy exhibits other unusual abilities as well, including magically embellishing Utena's uniform before the duel. She seems to be able to completely alter her appearance, or at least induce others to see her for someone other than who she really is. Likewise, there is some indication that she has the ability to transform others as well (as in the episode, "The Cowbell of Happiness").!~
~!According to the Adolescence of Utena manga, Anthy is in fact responsible for the dueling of which she is the prize. When her prince Dios (or Akio) died, she became reborn as the Rose Bride. When she took this role, the Dueling Arena appeared and the "game" was set in motion so another "Prince" could take Akio's place. In the anime series the duels are a strategic game set in motion to restore Akio's former powers and open the Gate of Revolution.!~
~!In the movie, she seems happier and is much more sexually aggressive towards Utena. Her physical appearance is also changed, as she does not wear glasses and her hair is loose (similar to her appearance in the last few episodes of the anime). The design of her dress is also different, being mainly white. Anthy seemingly saves Utena by encouraging her to move past her vice (Touga) and seemingly rescues Utena in a subversion of the damsel in distress archetype.!~
~!In the anime, she appears to be servile and obedient to all, especially her current Victor, whose every wishes she must cater to. Because of this, many Duelists believe that she lacks a personality and thoughts of her own, and she is treated badly by them. However, Anthy only pretends to be so in order to keep them in the Duels, and often enjoys subtly taking revenge on those around her.!~
~!Both the anime and manga feature similar – but altogether different – circumstances wherein Anthy becomes the Rose Bride. In the movie, the world views her brother, Dios, as a prince. In reality, he is the tainted Lord of the Flies. He commits suicide when one of his most shameful secrets is revealed to Anthy, causing her to establish the Duels in order to find a replacement prince. Anthy later wholeheartedly accepts Utena as the prince she had been waiting for, but instead of staying, Utena decides that the two of them should travel to the world "outside" Ohtori where they will not be bound by the ideas of prince and princesses.!~
~!In the anime, Dios is an actual prince who saves of the girls in the world on a daily basis. The work eventually weakens him to the point of death, but the world still demands his services. Anthy ends up facing an angry mob alone in order to protect him, and is stabbed by a million swords. The swords eventually take a life of their own, eternally thirsting for a prince's blood. To combat the pain, Anthy splits herself in two, and seals the part of her containing the swords beyond the Rose Gate, becoming the Rose Bride. This incident destroys Dios' nobility and he is also split in two. One part of him becomes an altruistic but powerless ghost, while the other part becomes Akio. No longer a prince, Akio no longer has Dios's power, and establishes the Dueling Game to regain it. Anthy accepts her role as the Rose Bride despite the suffering it inflicts on her because she does not want to live in a world which had tortured her and her brother.!~
Anthy appears to be an Asian Indian, possibly Tamil. She is noticeably darker than the other characters and wears a bindi mark or jewel.

Beauty is the female heroine of Bobobo's group and usually the only girl when Torpedo Girl isn't around. She has mid-length pink hair with short bangs and blue eyes. Unlike the puns used for many of the characters, she received her name because the manga writer was looking at a video tape of the movie American Beauty when he created her character. A stereotypical teenage manga heroine, she is one of the few sane characters who is the first to join Bo-bobo and was the only citizen to still have hair after the attack of the town she lived in. She initially wanted to join Bobobo because she sought a life of adventure. Bobobo let her join him, but rejected Pickle at the same time. She has loving feelings for Gasser after he rescued her (the first time they met), but doesn't say anything about them. She is often exasperated by Bo-bobo's odd behavior or the behavior or actions of others, usually with the same face. She's the only person in the group that doesn't fight (Except in the video games, but that's not considered canon), but still criticizes the others' fighting styles. There are a few rare occurrences where she was forced to fight to defend herself, but it's only when Bobobo isn't around to protect her and at the last minute someone would come and save her (mainly Bobobo and Gasser). Beauty worries about her friends' safety and finds them as her own family and though finds Bo-bobo crazy she idolizes him greatly. She seems to be a random girl who joins Bobobo's group till Softon is revealed to be her brother; infering that she may have powers of her own or is decended from a powerful bloodline. By the end of the series, she is travelling the world with Heppokomaru/Gasser.

One of two &quot;agents&quot; from the Magic Academy sent with a report about the Star Crystals' disappearance. Their true forms are unknown since they took the images drawn up by Haruna; Shichimi is a cat, and Motsu is a frog. They then stay at Mahora and keep a close eye on Negi to ensure his magic secrecy. Eventually, this may no longer be the case when all of class 3-A learn about magic and became Pactio partners. Shichimi begins to hang around with Nodoka often, with some of the moments ranging from Shichimi taking a nap on Nodoka's lap to the cat sitting on Nodoka's head while she's in her Armor form. A few other strange cutscenes show them playing with tissue paper and bubblewrap. Occasionally, they are found with the Black Rose Baron.

Ami is Yuusaku's childhood friend who transfers into his class midway through their second year of high school. She is very beautiful and even works as a model, though after she transfers school, she temporarily stops modeling. However, she still continues to go to the gym readily and maintains a slim figure. She is always kind and generous towards others, though this is merely a deception. In truth, she is arrogant and will not hesitate to use others for her own benefit. During her first meeting with Taiga, Ami showed her true colors, but the tables were turned when Taiga threw a counterattack back at her. Since then, Ami and Taiga have been enemies, though Ami still sometimes envies Taiga since she can always be honest. It's hinted at, mostly through her childhood friend Yuusaku, that she's like this because she hasn't really known any other life than her modeling, which is part of the reason she moved to their hometown to attend school there.  Which is why, through her affiliations with Taiga and Ryuuji, Ami eventually develops more of a "middle ground" personality, signified with her losing her temper and taking out her frustrations on a stalker fan. While this doesn't mean that she automatically becomes friends with Taiga, the two of them also meet halfway to some extent, thus running into arguments far less frequently. She can still be somewhat manipulative and mischievous, but her "gravure airhead" personality is almost entirely abandoned for a more outspoken one, and she's even helped out her newfound friends, including Taiga, on occasion. At some point, she even showed some interest in Ryuuji. 

~!Ami is also the first one to realize that Taiga and Ryuuji have feelings for each other, and is constantly hinting Ryuuji to pursue Taiga.!~

Sanae Nakazawa is the number one fan of Nankatsu SC, the Fujisawa football team.  She is a gritty girl with a very strong personality,

Akari Nitta is an Auxiliary Manager at Jujutsu High. 

Jessica became involved in anti-war politics after her fiance died at the Battle of Astate. The Patriotic Knights Corp harassed her until intervention by Yang Wenli, a longtime friend of both Jessica and Jean Lappe.  Soon thereafter, she ran for the Free Planets Alliance Legislature as a member of an anti-war party and was elected Representative.  During the coup, she and her associates organized protests against the tyrannical new police state.

Aoi is the wife of Tarou Sakamoto and mother of Hana Sakamoto. She met Tarou at a convenience store where he fell in love with Aoi. Soon after the two married and had a daughter. Shortly after meeting, Aoi expressed her feelings about death and convinced Sakamoto to retire as a hitman and not kill anymore.
