Ami is Yuusaku's childhood friend who transfers into his class midway through their second year of high school. She is very beautiful and even works as a model, though after she transfers school, she temporarily stops modeling. However, she still continues to go to the gym readily and maintains a slim figure. She is always kind and generous towards others, though this is merely a deception. In truth, she is arrogant and will not hesitate to use others for her own benefit. During her first meeting with Taiga, Ami showed her true colors, but the tables were turned when Taiga threw a counterattack back at her. Since then, Ami and Taiga have been enemies, though Ami still sometimes envies Taiga since she can always be honest. It's hinted at, mostly through her childhood friend Yuusaku, that she's like this because she hasn't really known any other life than her modeling, which is part of the reason she moved to their hometown to attend school there.  Which is why, through her affiliations with Taiga and Ryuuji, Ami eventually develops more of a "middle ground" personality, signified with her losing her temper and taking out her frustrations on a stalker fan. While this doesn't mean that she automatically becomes friends with Taiga, the two of them also meet halfway to some extent, thus running into arguments far less frequently. She can still be somewhat manipulative and mischievous, but her "gravure airhead" personality is almost entirely abandoned for a more outspoken one, and she's even helped out her newfound friends, including Taiga, on occasion. At some point, she even showed some interest in Ryuuji. 

~!Ami is also the first one to realize that Taiga and Ryuuji have feelings for each other, and is constantly hinting Ryuuji to pursue Taiga.!~

Ryuuji Takasu is a gentle high school student with a love for housework; but in contrast to his kind nature, he has an intimidating face that often gets him labeled as a delinquent. On the other hand is Taiga Aisaka, a small, doll-like student, who is anything but a cute and fragile girl. Equipped with a wooden katana and feisty personality, Taiga is known throughout the school as the "Palmtop Tiger."
 
One day, an embarrassing mistake causes the two students to cross paths. Ryuuji discovers that Taiga actually has a sweet side: she has a crush on the popular vice president, Yuusaku Kitamura, who happens to be his best friend. But things only get crazier when Ryuuji reveals that he has a crush on Minori Kushieda—Taiga's best friend!
 
Toradora! is a romantic comedy that follows this odd duo as they embark on a quest to help each other with their respective crushes, forming an unlikely alliance in the process.

A Japanese voice actress and singer. She used to be a child actress by the name of Eri Okamura. 

She is primarily known for her role in Blood+ as Saya Otonashi and singing "Tsuyogari," the third ending for the anime series Konjiki No Gash Bell!! She is also known to be an amateur manga artist in Japan in her spare time. Kitamura is affiliated with talent agency Early Wing and was formerly affiliated with Kaleidoscope.

Currently works in the music unit ARTERY VEIN with Asami Imai. Also provides the voice of CUL, a Vocaloid.

Erika Harlacher is an American voice actress based in the Los Angeles area who has provided voices for English dubbed anime shows such as: Ami Kawashima in Toradora!, Mimori Togo in Yuki Yuna is a Hero, Asseylum Vers Allusia in Aldnoah.Zero, Elizabeth Liones in The Seven Deadly Sins, Kurapika in Hunter x Hunter, Hailey Anne Thomas in Yo-kai Watch and Ann Takamaki in Persona 5. (both the anime adaptation and the game). Yuusaku brings an extravagant bento box to share with the class, which makes Ryuuji feel inferior about his own bento making skills. Desperate to beat his bentos, Ryuuji obsessively tries to compete against them to the point where he even brings a rice cooker to school. After Taiga brings him some salty onigiri, Ryuuji realises that the true meaning of bentos is not the taste, but the feelings that are put into it.

Five more stories from the world of Toradora! The first relates how Taiga got a bit overweight on all the wonderful foods of fall-time, and her adventures in losing that weight. The second recounts how it was that Haruta showed up at the candy-store with an older girlfriend, shocking both Taiga and Ryuuji. The other stories focus on other characters. 
3. Take a Look at My Lunch Box (&#20474;&#12398;&#24321;&#24403;&#12434;&#35211;&#12390;&#12367;&#12428;) 
Ten more shorter stories, each focusing on one or another of the Toradora characters. Takemiya declared it to be her last adventure in the world of Toradora.

Ookami Ryouko is a spunky and, by some accounts, rather manly high school girl. She is tall, speaks in a traditionally masculine way and is very proficient in fighting. Ookami-san's best friend is the small and high-pitched voiced Akai Ringo. Incidentally, the two are rather flat-chested, a fact the Narrator (voiced by Arai "Kuroko" Satomi of Railgun fame) is all too eager to point out. 
Ookami and Ringo are members of the Otogi Bank, a club in Otogi High School that assists students with their problems in return for their assistance on a different problem at a later date; thus the Otogi Bank is effectively a loan institute for problems where you can take out a loan for a solved problem but you have to repay it sooner or later. 
The Otogi Bank is able to solve any problem and will go to any lengths to do so, often leading the members to danger or mayhem. Since most of the members of the club are female, another male is needed for the more dangerous assignments. Thus, the scopophobic (the fear of being looked at) Morino Ryoushi is inducted as a member, right after he confesses his love for Ookami...
