
Kaede is the final character of the "main eight" cast at Starlight Academy. Her preferred brand is Magical Toy.

Kaede transfers into Starlight Academy to audition for becoming Mizuki's partner in Tristar. A returnee and "super idol", she is in the same year as Ichigo. Kaede comes from America where she has appeared in many commercials for her father's high class American sushi chain, "Kaede Sushi" and was a part of a popular idol-based show called "Kids' Club".

Having come from America, Kaede uses a lot of English phrases and has a habit of kissing people she meets on the cheek. She is friendly and has a fascination with magic. She enjoys performing various tricks and ensures that her fans are having a good time. Kaede does occasionally make large scale entrances skydiving for example into the Tristar auditions.

The Dream Academy's "cool beauty" Seira Otoshiro is a major new idol with talent in rock music and perfect pitch, while Kii Saekusa is a genius who enrolls in the academy's producer course.

Raki Kiseki is a second-year middle school student who transfers to Star Harmony Academy to become an idol. However, when she uses an Aikatsu Pass she received from her big sister (an Aikatsu engineer), something mysterious happens. Lots of doors appeared before her, and when she opens them, she meets Aikatsu idols she never knew before, such as Yume Nijino. Raki vows to design her own premium dress and perform in it on stage. The main leads Ichigo Hoshimiya and Akari Oozora in their debut outfits as the Cosmos duo (from the television series finale). The film's story introduction reveals that the first live Cosmos concert was a great success.
