
Kaede is the final character of the "main eight" cast at Starlight Academy. Her preferred brand is Magical Toy.

Kaede transfers into Starlight Academy to audition for becoming Mizuki's partner in Tristar. A returnee and "super idol", she is in the same year as Ichigo. Kaede comes from America where she has appeared in many commercials for her father's high class American sushi chain, "Kaede Sushi" and was a part of a popular idol-based show called "Kids' Club".

Having come from America, Kaede uses a lot of English phrases and has a habit of kissing people she meets on the cheek. She is friendly and has a fascination with magic. She enjoys performing various tricks and ensures that her fans are having a good time. Kaede does occasionally make large scale entrances skydiving for example into the Tristar auditions.

The sister of Freddie, she is a woman of the mountain people who takes good care and has a strong sense of justice. Because of that, it is also a character that does not make much jokes.
