Aruto, the male protagonist, is an avid fan of the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland novels and he is writing a fanfiction sequel to it. It is explained in the story that because of his fanaticism with Alice books, he is able to enter Wonderland Space, which is a dimension where Seekers of Alice fight. He first talks to Arisu during a fight that she has with another girl in Wonderland Space. At his school the following day, he discovers that she is also a fellow student in his school. Arisu befriends Aruto and wishes to read his fanfiction at his house, however Aruto's little sister notices them and quickly realises who Arisu is, and becomes jealous of her as she loves her brother, not in the siblings way. Aruto has the power to copy and write the stories in peoples hearts and later in the series was shown that he had the power to make characters in a story to appear in the real world. 

Kirihara Aruto loves the stories of Alice, so much so that he begins to write one. One night while writing, he sees a girl out his window who he thinks is Alice. He follows her, and discovers that she is called a Seeker of Alice, and with the powers granted to her she fights other Seekers of Alice to take their eternal story, in order to find the part that belongs to the Eternal Alice. <br><br>
Throughout Aruto's adventures with Arisugawa Arisu, his little sister Kirihara Kiraha and their various friends they discover more about the land of Alice, about the novels, the man who wrote them, and their own powers.

He is a Japanese voice actor, actor, singer, songwriter and composer (under T. Toyonaga), and has ranked 7th nationally in the drummania rankings. He is currently affiliated with Super Eccentric Theater INC.
