An intelligent young boy with dark hair and green eyes, Huntley can sometimes be found in the school library. His best friend is Smudger Moore; Huntley is often initiates their plans. He lives with his mother, as it's hinted his father died or is missing. He also has a crush on Louise. 

The current Code: 03. At first glance, he seems pretty calm but goes on a rampage if anyone even brushes him. Oogami described him as the "most barbaric code breaker". He speaks using Kansai-ben. Despite his violent tendencies, he genuinely rewards kindness, and apologizes by giving gifts to people. In chapter 35, he gives Sakura a stuffed animal for her genuine concern for his well-being, and in Chapter 36, he attempts to get a golden toy for Toki as compensation for beating him up, even though he didn't want it. In chapter 36, he admits that he hates Eden, but has joined the organization so that he can take it down. A major love of his is the stuffed animal named Nyanmaru. In recent, he has mistakened Sakura as the true identity of Nyanmaru when her saying reminds him of the animated character.  His ability is 'sound' which allows him to listen and identify sounds from distance, travels in the speed of sound and manipulate soundwave to attack. When he temporarily loses his power, he becomes a red-haired cat. Like Heike, he too seems to not prefer the idea of killing, as he went out of his way to save a pregnant woman and a small child from an explosion. His addition to the Code of Hammurabi is "An Eye for an Eye, a Tooth for a Tooth, and the Requiem of Fury for Evil."  His Lost Form is a red cat with simple, black eyes, but he keeps his necklace on.    ~!It's later revealed that the reason Yuuki works for Eden is for the sake of his childhood friend, Makoto. As a child, Yuuki was ostracized due to his special power, and Makoto and Shigure (another special power user, a future Re:Code) were the only ones to approach him. Once, Yuuki selflessly tried to save others from the rubbles of a collapsed house, and Makoto got severely hurt protecting Yuuki. Since then, he has been in a coma, which caused Shigure to hate Yuuki and vow to kill him to avenge Makoto.  In the latest chapters, Makoto is shown to partly regain his consciousness, and is able to send a message in Morse code to Yuuki, telling him to bring his friends the next time he drops by.!~

The primary male protagonist of the series, Mikado Ryugamine is a high school boy who moved to Ikebukuro with the encouragement of his best friend Masaomi in order to search for unusual beings and adventure. Mikado tries hard to change his image but so far he has not had any luck. Mikado has had moments where he speaks his mind, which is a reason why Masaomi admires him.

Sentaro was a young man with shoulder-length, dark hair which he kept in a ponytail. He wore traditional Japanese clothes of the feudal era. Sentaro cared a lot for Ai and would stick up for her when they were children, unable to understand why they would bully her. He even went as far as the place his cousin&#039;s life above the wants of his village. He was quite a cheerful person and would sing along with Ai to cheer her up.

Aruto, the male protagonist, is an avid fan of the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland novels and he is writing a fanfiction sequel to it. It is explained in the story that because of his fanaticism with Alice books, he is able to enter Wonderland Space, which is a dimension where Seekers of Alice fight. He first talks to Arisu during a fight that she has with another girl in Wonderland Space. At his school the following day, he discovers that she is also a fellow student in his school. Arisu befriends Aruto and wishes to read his fanfiction at his house, however Aruto's little sister notices them and quickly realises who Arisu is, and becomes jealous of her as she loves her brother, not in the siblings way. Aruto has the power to copy and write the stories in peoples hearts and later in the series was shown that he had the power to make characters in a story to appear in the real world.

Tayura Minamoto is a spirit fox who was adopted into Chizuru's family. He frequently teased her about her age, resulting in her getting annoyed.

Tayura is calm and outgoing.  He is often seen being badly treated and abused by Chizuru, who forces him to do all the housework. Despite the abuse, he cares about his sister and is willing to do whatever to keep her safe and out of danger.

At first, he's jealous of [Kouta Oyamada](https://anilist.co/character/10912/Kouta-Oyamada) and Chizuru's relationship but later starts to care for him. He also develops feelings for [Akane Asahina](https://anilist.co/character/10952/Akane-Asahina), but she's always cold to him. She begins to warm up to him after he risks his life to save her at the beach.

Chikusa Kakimoto is referred to as Kakipi by Ken and M.M. He seems to love taking showers and staying clean and often tells Ken to take one himself. But, that belies his real talent as a professional assassin, using his deadly &quot;Hedgehog&quot; yo-yo&#039;s to spray his opponents with poisoned needles. He is also able to expertly control where he throws his Weapons to accurately shower his opponent with them.     Unlike Ken, Chikusa rarely speaks and is mostly quiet. He talks only if necessary; though, he is often shown to argue with Ken. Like Ken, he also cares for Chrome, but never shows this openly and sometimes &quot;teases&quot; Ken, who always denies his feelings of concern for Chrome. He has been Mukuro&#039;s subordinate since childhood along with Ken and is extremely loyal to him. He will follow any of Mukuro&#039;s orders and is willing to sacrifice his life for him.

A second year student, and the swimming team&#039;s manager. He had a traumatic experience involving a creature he describes as a mermaid during his childhood, and after which he has been afraid of swimming ever since. However this scenario started to change after Amuro&#039;s arrival at Umishō. Always in trouble due to Amuro&#039;s unpredictable behavior, he usually denies his growing feelings for her. Aoi Kentarou is the jolly, talkative and energetic captain of Rokkaku tennis team. What makes him stand out is that he is only a freshman, and some teams are doubtful of his capabilities as a team captain. However, despite being a rookie, Aoi is a high-caliber player, who were able to match up with Kaidou Kaoru (manga) and Echizen Ryoma (anime).

He is the leader of the guild Black Cats of the Full Moon he and the other members (not including Kirito) are actually computer research club members from the same high school in the real world.   ~!One day, Keita went to buy a little house as their guild home and after he got back Kirito told him all the other members died after they got attacked by monsters. Keita then ran out of the town in Aincrad, and jumped over a fence without hesitation committing suicide by jumping in the endless void.!~

The main male protagonist of the story, Leo is always hanging around with his childhood friends Shinichi Samesuga, Subaru Date, and Kinu Kanisawa often while inside the student council building. He seems to be an average male high school student who is on the student council.

The grandson of Ojisan, who lives with his grandparents. He meets Alpha at age nine and she quickly takes to him as if he were a younger brother. He is the first character in the series to meet the Misago. As he grows up, Takahiro becomes fascinated with engines of all types and eventually moves away in his mid-teens to work with Nai.
