Kikuchi Yume is a 17-year-old girl who travels during the summer to Tokyo to be an apprentice so she can become a certified mage. She is a very kind-hearted and gentle girl, and wants to help people using her special power. Yume often gets depressed if her mage action was not done in a way that satisfied the person who requested it.

Yume Kikuchi, a girl who can use magic, goes to Tokyo to be an apprentice mage to the handsome Masami Oyamada (a professional mage). In Tokyo, Yume learns about magic, helping people, and various other things on her way to being a mage.
