Hazuki is an obvious example of the &quot;tall, dark bishōjo&quot; archetype. Hazuki appears cold and unfriendly and is fiercely protective of Hatsumi. She is actually very vulnerable and romantic, even to the point of being submissive, but refuses to show weakness or depend on anyone but her adoptive sister, Hatsumi &mdash; unless she is forced to. One example of this is her first encounter with Lilith, where she initially refuses Lilith&#039;s help in looking for Hatsumi/Eve. Only when Lilith notes she won&#039;t be able to travel from world to world without her, does Hazuki agree to travel with her and even then, only tacitly. As soon as she no longer has any need for Lilith&#039;s help, she shows no regard for her or her wishes with regards to Eve. Hazuki idolizes Hatsumi extremely and, as such, considers her sexual attraction to Hatsumi vulgar and shameful.

Touka Kamiazuma inherited his clan’s duty to protect the magical land of Kamitsumihara when he discovered his body holds Sekiken, a mythical stone sword, but his connection to the land only deepens when he meets the strangely intriguing Momoka Kawakabe. Inexplicably drawn to one another, soon destiny’s inescapable threads pull Touka and Momoka into a web of dark secrets and ancient tragedies that will bring an ancient legend to life and change the face of Kamitsumihara forevermore.

Hatsuki is a highschool student living with her sister, Hatsumi, who she has a huge crush on. On Hatsumi's 16th birthday, she is suddenly surrounded by a green light and disappears in front of Hatsuki. She manages to follow Hatsumi with the help of a being resembling a fat baby chick (literally), ending up in a place called "The Great Library", which is full of different worlds stored in books. Hatsumi wasn't there, though, so the search for Hatsuki's great love begins and involves traveling from book to book.

In a magical library, all the books lead to different worlds, but when a book is damaged, a traveler must search for a way to repair it.

Touka Gettan is set in the land of Kamitsumihara, where traces of magic and legend can still be seen. The land has been under the protection of the Kamiazuma clan since it was founded. The story revolves around T&#333;ka Kamiazuma, the main protagonist, and his encounter with a young girl named Momoka Kawakabe who comes to stay with the clan. Their meeting sets off a chain of events that will bring an ancient legend to life.
