Chiharu Sakuragi is the 8th member of AKB0048 to take up the name of Haruna Kojima.  Haruna Kojima belongs to the "pioneer" generation of the first AKB48 team, Team A, that was created in 2005. Her nicknames are "Kojiharu" and "Nyan", which come from her love of cats. She is known for her airhead personality who goes at her own pace, as well as her habit of having a messy room. She is a popular member that receives many endorsements such as Metal Gear Solid, Schick Razor, shampoo. She is a prominent fashion model like fellow members Tomomi Itano and Mariko Shinoda. She is also part of the sub-unit NO3B along with Minami Minegishi, and AKB48's leader Minami Takahashi.   Stylish, takes good care of her skin, and the most girly of all the successors. A bit air-headed and naïve, but gets the job done when it counts. Her normal posture has her legs turned a bit inward, among the other “girly” habits she has.

An Aluminum Akikan who came from a sports drink. She's usually cool and composed but she becomes furious when someone tries to insult her owner. She's got sharp vision which was the cause for her being sensitive to moving objects, which causes her the urge to play with it. She also loves animals and she herself has a pet turtle called "Kame". She is an alumna of Fujigaya Girls&#039; Academy, and during her high school years, she was very well known. Through flashbacks from various characters, it is revealed that Shinako&#039;s nature had not changed very much from when she was a teenager.     She does not care about people&#039;s sexual orientation and openly asks Fumi if she&#039;s a lesbian or bisexual when she first meets her. She has said herself that she had many &quot;girlfriends&quot; growing up, though this may be only due to her being bored rather than personal attraction to other women. She is closest to Runo and frequently worries about Dan and Shun. She can be quite gullible due to her being over trusting of others, ~!shown when she was tricked by Lync.!~ Alice is a natural beauty, but she is not as concerned about her appearance as Julie. Alice is very polite, often doing errands for others, and rarely chooses to bother others with her problems unless they ask her or it is of the upmost importance to the task at hand for them.     She has always been afraid to play Bakugan, although she knows all the rules, it might be because she always underestimates herself and because she is afraid of losing, which sometimes makes her feel useless. Instead, Alice just gives advice and strategy to the other members of the group. She is pretty good with strategy and knows which abilities and Bakugan to use at a certain time. While some find this to be a nuisance, her advice has actually helped the Brawlers a great deal. ~!Although she plays now, she still struggles with her past history and in both of her losses these feelings somehow contributed to the battle. It is shown that she had grown a little more confident after her battle with Shadow.!~ Alice is seen as one of the most mature of in the group, the other being Shun, considering they both are the oldest. She hates causing trouble for her friends, and also dislikes it when Dan and Runo fight, because she wants the group to stay together. She can &quot;read&quot; the others&#039; emotions, as shown in episode 28, when she was able to sense that something is wrong with Shun and after he said &quot;No, nothing.&quot;, she insisted him to tell them because she knew that he was lying. She seems to like Shun in the first series but it was never proven though. She was one of the people who were suspected to be a spy for Masquerade along with Joe and Shun, but she was able to clear her name by helping Runo and Dan in a battle. 
~! Later, when Julie apologized to Shun about mistaking his grandfather for Hal-G and Dan blamed him about not telling them that he was in town, Alice was the first one to defend Shun.!~

Michael Gehabich&#039;s lab in Russia has been the suspect of being uneasy of the group&#039;s Guardian Bakugan. In the lab, they learned through a video recording that he has been working with cross-dimension research to Vestroia. They also saw another video where they learned, much to their shock, that Michael transformed into a monster, Hal-G. With this, Alice became extremely worried about her grandfather, and hoped to save him. She was very happy when her grandfather was freed from Naga&#039;s control.!~

__Original Concept__
Black Gold Saw is a girl with red eyes and long black hair. A red flame shoots out from her right eye. She has a pair of curved black horns whose color turns to red as it reaches the tip. Like Dead Master, Black Gold Saw also has skeletal claws. Her outfit is similar to Black★Rock Shooter's except for the design of her jacket and her bikini top; her jacket extends into a worn-out cape which is dyed red at the end.  Her weapon of choice is a large sword with golden blade and a black saw-edge on its reverse side. It has a long handle with a skull-like object on top and a hilt shaped like a crescent; its name is King Saw. 

__Black★Rock Shooter (OVA)__
In the OVA, her jacket is shorter, and she also wears armoured boots with pointed crescent designs. Like all of the "other selves," her eyes have a circular pattern in them. Notably, Black Gold Saw's red flame is not present at all during her appearance.  

__Black★Rock Shooter (Anime)__
Her jacket seems to bear a little bit of resemblance to MEFE's clothing. Her sleeve have a red belt attached to it along with two white line running across just above the belt's line. Her jacket is tied together with a white ribbon. Her shorts is a little bit longer and had more details to it. Her belt is also different. Unlike the OVA design, she had no black thigh-high socks although her grieves are pretty much the same, except for some changes, notably at the base of the foot. Her claws are very much the same as that of BRSB now, but, it's still more skeletal. Her King Saw has a new look as well, with a very much shorter blade and a sawblade on the hilt.  

__Abilities__
Black Gold Saw has demonstrated many abilities in the 2012 anime, more than she ever did in the OVA. She may have some time or reality-altering abilities in terms of the Otherworld, as she managed to stop the destruction of Chariot's world as if she had stopped its time and had seemingly cut reality itself when driving Dead Master into the ground. She also has the ability to create beings, as she creates the strange hooded figures from a watering can. This watering can is also able to sprinkle a mirror-like surface on the ground that shows Saya's memories. She is also able to see things far away using her giant eyes as shown in Episode 1 and Episode 4. She can also summon a massive King Saw out of the ground.

Master swordswoman and in love with Anotsu. Said to be Anotsu's match and saved his life with her deadly abilities when they were children. Born into a samurai family, Makie and her mother were disowned and cast away from the family by her father, Harukawa, when Makie's older brother committed seppuku after Makie was revealed to have inherited the family's famed talent and he was unable to defeat her in combat. She initially chose the path of the sword to avenge her mother's disgrace, but ended up becoming a geisha when Anotsu bought her freedom because she neither had the nerve to become a prostitute like her mother nor commit herself completely to becoming a swordfighter because she does not have the nerve to kill when her concentration in battle is broken. Defeats but does not kill Manji, apparently turning her back on Anotsu. Later found living alone, having bound her hand in an attempt to destroy her own skill in combat after her father's humiliating death. She reappears in Last Blood, having followed Anotsu since he left Shirakawa when she realized his body was weakening, and destroys the men under Iriya who were pursuing Anotsu. After Iriya's death, she leaves with Anotsu and Magatsu. As said by Anotsu, she is the only one that can beat him. Her weapon, a double bladed three-section-staff, is named Haru-no-Okina (Old Man of Spring). She conceals her weapon in a hollowed-out shamisen, a mandolin-like instrument. She first appears in Dreamsong Part 1.

The only daughter of a Navy official, it was through Komo that the army discovered the kids' involvement with Zearth. She was almost losing her battle when the enemy pilot gave up and ran away. His only daughter (who was around Komo's age) was killed by relatives of victims of previous battles occurred in their world and he could not bring himself to kill a child even to save his own planet, as he had nobody important to him left to protect. The Japanese government set up a plan to lure him up to a piano recital held by Komoda after revealing to the world some bits of information regarding Zearth and its pilot's name. In the end the enemy pilot attended the recital and was so moved by Komo's performance, that he allowed himself to be killed by her father a few minutes before the time limit ended. Her chair was a wooden, fancy, Victorian-style chair.  Komoda's setup is far more simple in the anime series. Not only she easily defeats her enemy by herself, but the whole story between her and the enemy pilot is omitted. Her father, whose position was changed to a politician, plays a more significant role in the story, as he tries to use his influence to reveal to the world the truth behind Zearth and the children, which end up costing him not only his career, but his life as well. Of all of the characters, Lilica received the most amount of changes from her previous version. While the other characters do share at least one personality trait similar with their previous version, Lilica has only her name in common with the Lilica of Burn Up W and Excess. The previous incarnation of Lilica was a cheerfully energetic computer and tech expert. This Lilica is more of a shy, insecure, and slightly clumsy psychic, but when she gets drunk, she becomes more uninhibited and somewhat daffy.   Appearance wise, Lilica was changed greatly as well. The previous Lilica was flat-chested and sported pink hair, as well as being quite short. The new Lilica is around the same height as Rio, has a figure to match, and has short orange hair and a tanned complexion. She also looks up to Rio, addressing her with the honorific 'sempai'.   Because of the possible danger her powers present, Lilica is outfitted with magnetic wrist and ankle restraints, which are often reserved for the most dangerous of felons. However, because of positive interaction with others (especially with Rio), Lilica's powers have now increased, and these restraints are now useless.   Lilica's powers are many. One of these is a modified dowsing technique, using a crystal pendant to locate potential felons by using a map. Another is a form of automatic writing, except it is a drawing.
