Desler is the Leader of the alien race known as the Gamilas and the main villain of Space Battleship Yamato. It was Desler who masterminded the attack on Earth, forcing the humans to move underground due to the radioactive meteore-bombs unleashed on the planet by the Gamilas fleet. Although initially portrayed as a dictator bent on conquest seemingly for it's own sake, it's later revealed that Desler seeks to conquer the Earth in order to find a new home for his people, following the imminent destruction of their home-planet. It contains humanity's last hope: the planet Iscandar on the other side of the Magellan Galaxy has the technology to defeat the Gamilos and restore the planet. A Japanese actor, voice actor, singer and narrator from Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture. He graduated from Tohoku Gakuin University's economics school and is currently affiliated with Across Entertainment.

He was the manager of the Tagajou Senior High School basketball team before he made a name for himself. His voice acting debut was the OVA [Megazone 23](https://anilist.co/anime/1935/) as the motorcycle-riding [Shinji Nakagawa](https://anilist.co/character/56633/), while his television debut was the anime [Bosco Adventure](https://anilist.co/anime/3460/) as the cowardly Otter. His break-out role, however, was in the anime [Ranma ½](https://anilist.co/anime/210/), in which he played the dual role of [Hibiki Ryoga](https://anilist.co/character/2369/) and the [Jusenkyo Guide](https://anilist.co/character/58321/). In October 1997, Yamadera became a host on the TV Tokyo children's variety show Oha Suta. In March 2016, after almost two decades, he announced his retirement from it.

Yamadera's also known for his versatile range, as shown in the video game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony where he voiced all five Monokuma Kubs, including Monophanie (female). According to the Danganronpa V3 official blog, Yamadera is the first person who came to mind as "the same person voicing multiple characters at the same time". No one has as much "multiple characters" experience as him. He was able to take the individual quirks of each of the Monokuma Kubs and make all of them unique.

When former Yamato crew-mates discover a strange, garbled message that seems to be coming from a white comet headed towards Earth, they hijack their old space fortress and begin a new battle.

In the distant future, the war between the human race and the Gamilon has taken its toll on the planet Earth. Constant bombardment of radioactive asteroids has rendered the planet's atmosphere uninhabitable. As a means of relief aid, Queen Starsha of the planet Iscandar offers the Earth Forces a device that can completely neutalize the radiation off the planet. For this task, the space battleship Yamato is launched from the remains of its World War II ancestor on a 148,000 light-year journey. However, the crew of the Yamato has only one Earth year to travel to Iscandar and back, or the human race will come to an end.

Eddie Allen, originally from Baltimore, and a graduate of Towson, has always enjoyed performing. As he explained in a 2012 interview, "It's probably because of my mom and her love of drama. She fled Baghdad, Iraq to be an actress. She instilled in me from an early age, 'Act, play, and enjoy life!'" His father, Paul Stephen Allen aka Panos Sarkis Peltekian, served with the British Army in WWI after fleeing Turkey and the Armenian genocide.

When Eddie was in his twenties, he toured the country with a Comedia Del'Arte Company and a One-Man-Mime-Show. After years of seeing friends from college working steadily in film and television, he left the touring life and moved to NYC. It was in LA, where he moved in 1983, that he met his wife, Anamyn Turowski. They have two sons, Ian and Oliver. In 2007 they moved back to NY, this time upstate. Eddie's thrilled to be back on the East Coast, enjoying the seasons. Living in the country also awakened his urge to write. In 2011 he co-wrote and performed the play "Finding Fathers" with his friend and writing partner Rob Leo Roy. They are currently working on a new play, one about brothers and life and the all of it.

It is the year 2201. The Yamato has returned from the devastating battle with Emperor Zordar and the Comet Empire. Sanada, Aihara, and Shima are released from the hospital, and go to pay their respects to the fallen crew members at Okita's memorial. They meet Tokugawa's son Tasuke, who says that he will be joining the crew once he graduates from cadet school. The next day at his graduation, he ends up capsizing a boat full of new cadets because they are all too busy staring at the Yamato to watch where they are going. 
After some problems during launch due to the new engine crew hitting the wrong switches and stalling the ship, the Yamato departs on what should be a simple training mission.

The year is 2203, not long after the Bolar Federation was defeated by Desslok's Galman-Gamilon Empire. A subspace dimensional dislocation has caused a distant Red Galaxy to be relocated in a collision course with the Milky Way. Stars and planets collide, making a wreck of the Galman-Gamilon homeworld. The Star Force is dispatched to investigate. They reach Galmania to find Desslok's palace in ruins. 
As they pay their respects, tossing white roses down to the surface of the planet, a huge red planet crashes into Galmania, forcing to StarForce to escape with an immediate and uncalculated warp.

The year is 2199. She urges them to return to their beloved ship and travel to the distant planet Terezart. They are promised a revolutionary power to combat the unprecedented threat of the relentless Gatlantis Empire, who are approaching Earth with all but innocent intentions.
 
Unable to resist her plea, the crew reassembles and sets sail on another perilous intergalactic voyage, one that will test their sheer courage and versatility in the face of an even greater foe.
