An android created by Dr. Komyoji to stop DARK. He acts to protect Dr. Komyoji&#039;s children Mitsuko and Masaru. Since his conscience circuit is incomplete, Professor Gill&#039;s hypnotic flute causes him pain, and is ultimately able to control him. He defends himself by overpowering its influence (for example, using a louder sound to drown it out). Jiro has a guitar, which he uses to announce his presence and motorcycle, which is called Sidemachine. He often defeats Destructoids by using his special attack called Denji Endo (Electro End). Jiro is played by Daisuke Ban in his human form while Toshiaki Kikuchi plays his robot form.

The OVA Special which teams the Anime version of the legendary Henshin Hero Jiro/Jinzou Ningen Kikaider with another Toei Henshin Hero Inazuman.

The series is initially a darker version of the original live action tokusatsu show Jinzou Ningen Kikaida, creating or expanding many emotional conflicts within Kikaida and other characters which was not present in the original Kikaida story.

Dr. Komyogi is an expert in robotics and has a wealthy sponsor, Herbert Gill. Gill however, is a horrible man who forces Dr. Komyogi to develop numerous robots which he plans to use to take over the world. Dr. Komyogi realizes Gill's dark ambition and secretly develops a high-performance humanoid-robot called Jiro, who looks exactly like a human but transforms into a battle robot Kikaider who has his great superpower. Komyoji leaves Kikaider with his daughter Mitsuko and then disappears.
 
Finally, Gill makes his move. He unleashes a robot army named Dark to dominate and control human society. Mitsuko, reading a message left for her by her father Dr. Komyogi, persuades Jiro/Kikaider to fight off Gill's terrible robots. On that day, Jiro/Kikaider's fierce battles with Dark begin!
