The goddess protecting Planeptune. Usually cheerful, a stupid but cute child. After she transforms into "Guardian Goddess Purple Heart", she gains composure and sharpness but is still a little oblivious.  Out of the four main Godesses, Neptune is the most careless and possibly carefree. She'll jump head first into any situation dangerous or not, and does not bother to think about the possible consequences that await her. Instead she chooses to face them head on! Some see Neptune as being downright stupid, due to coming off clueless and airheaded and asking many random questions and surprising ideas and theories. Besides that, she can be surprised very easily and is a klutz. Neptune is also known for being a Goddess with a big appetite. She really enjoys eating and is often seen doing this or trying to think of a way to get food, greedy or not. She comes off as always hopeful and happy and gives 110% everytime!

 __ Purple Heart__

As Purple Heart, Neptune turns very serious and loses her ditzy attitude and friendly disposition at first. Showing a more confident, mature, prideful self instead. Unlike most, her voice noticeably deepens significantly. She loves a good fight and does not give up until winning. She feels superior to the rest, due to being the strongest in terms of sheer power, making a single hit damage up to 2000 points. While the others would have to power up just to make a special attack match that very amount.  Despite this, however, and due to her over-confidence, they teamed up against her and took her down with ease, acknowledging that she was the biggest threat out of the four of them. While she is much more calm and observant, Purple Heart happens to be full of herself at first and gloats how the others couldn't beat her even if all three tried at once. It was her pride and gloating that made her the victim of their termination. Over the course of the game, due to her memory loss, she lessens up on this harsh behavior.

There was a parallel universe called, Gamindustri. A long time ago, in Gamindustri, a big incident took place. But the conspiracy of the 4 continent's hard driven goddesses, crushed it and brought peace. This is the story of what happened after the goddesses resolved the incident. 
Based on the PS3 series of games, the games poke fun at several facts and details of the gaming industry; even to the point were character names are affected. For example "Neptune" is a reference to Sega's unreleased "Neptune" console.

Neptune and her friends visit "Watashi no Natsuyasumi Yama" (My Summer Vacation Mountain) filled with nature to enjoy their summer vacation. The four goddesses, who gather after a long time, are having a good time as usual. During the vacation, Nepgear and other sisters go to the mountains to wander around. After going through the stretch of a long torii (Shinto shrine archway), the sisters wander off into a different dimension. Then Nepgear meets a woman who just looks like her sister Neptune in her adult form.

The third and final installment of the Neptune OVA Series Trilogy. 
Magiquone, with her secret plan against the goddesses, Level Trick, appear to challenge the battle. While their guard are down, Level Trick's "Level-Down" attack hit the four goddesses. But Magiquone is also caught up in the aftermath. Worried about their sisters' disappearance, Nepgear and the others go out to search for them, and found Noir and the other sisters, who had been transformed into young children as a result of the Level Down attack..., and only Neptune is still missing. 

 Meanwhile, Magiquone and Neptune are running a vast eggplant farm. They, too, have been transformed into their younger form and lost their memories due to the effects of Level-Down. What will become of their strange shared life with their eternal nemesis...?
