Welcome to Gamindustri, a fantastical world where all your favorite video game consoles come to life! Neptune and her fellow Goddesses rule the four kingdoms of Lastation, Leanbox, Lowee, and Planeptune – but their royal duties often take a backseat to their obsession with gaming. When their button-mashing shenanigans are interrupted by rampaging monsters, hacker attacks, and killer eggplants, the goddesses must transform into stronger, sexier versions of themselves and fight for their right to game! The bosses get tougher as the game goes on, and the girls will have to work together in order to defeat a bewitching goddess of piracy, an anonymous master hacker, and an evil CPU hell-bent on destroying everything in her path – using any cheat code necessary!

Neptune and her friends visit "Watashi no Natsuyasumi Yama" (My Summer Vacation Mountain) filled with nature to enjoy their summer vacation. The four goddesses, who gather after a long time, are having a good time as usual. During the vacation, Nepgear and other sisters go to the mountains to wander around. After going through the stretch of a long torii (Shinto shrine archway), the sisters wander off into a different dimension. Then Nepgear meets a woman who just looks like her sister Neptune in her adult form.

There was a parallel universe called, Gamindustri. A long time ago, in Gamindustri, a big incident took place. But the conspiracy of the 4 continent's hard driven goddesses, crushed it and brought peace. This is the story of what happened after the goddesses resolved the incident. 
Based on the PS3 series of games, the games poke fun at several facts and details of the gaming industry; even to the point were character names are affected. For example "Neptune" is a reference to Sega's unreleased "Neptune" console.

Magiquone, with her secret plan against the goddesses, Level Trick, appear to challenge the battle. While their guard are down, Level Trick's "Level-Down" attack hit the four goddesses. But Magiquone is also caught up in the aftermath. Worried about their sisters' disappearance, Nepgear and the others go out to search for them, and found Noir and the other sisters, who had been transformed into young children as a result of the Level Down attack..., and only Neptune is still missing. 

 Meanwhile, Magiquone and Neptune are running a vast eggplant farm. They, too, have been transformed into their younger form and lost their memories due to the effects of Level-Down. What will become of their strange shared life with their eternal nemesis...?
