Hayato Kirishima is a badminton player for Unisics.

Hayato plays badminton for Unisics. He is paired with his childhood friend, Daiki Oginome. Hayato is currently ranked the number two doubles player in the world, second only to his younger brother, Takuma Kirishima. He is very popular and known not only for his skill in badminton but also his good looks.

The story centers on Mikoto Shiratori, a childhood prodigy at badminton, but who never recovered from a major loss during a high school competition. Now, he works in the sales department of the Sunlight Beverage company, playing badminton on the side.
