The world&#039;s most powerful master of curses. While he&#039;s one of the leaders of Dr. Hell&#039;s five great armies, he doesn&#039;t command any mechanical beasts. Instead, he manipulates wild animals to do his bidding. He also has a wide variety of supernatural abilities, including size changing, teleportation, and illusions. From the island of Bardos in the Aegean Sea comes a new threat to humanity in the form of Doctor Hell and his army of mechanical beasts. However, a new hero stands in his way: Mazinger Z, a giant robot built out of the indestructible metal chogokin and equipped with an arsenal of advanced weaponry. One of the first Super Robot manga and the one that introduced most of the traits of the Mecha genre. Constructed with the Super-Alloy Z, Mazinger was built by Professor Juzo Kabuto as a weapon against the Mechanical Beasts of the evil Dr. Hell. Koji Kabuto, the grandson of Professor Kabuto, becomes the pilot of Mazinger Z when his grandfather is killed, and battles from there on against Dr. Hell and his allies. This is the first series that introduced the concept of a pilot inside a Mecha, which all series from then on have followed.


MazinSaga is a manga written and produced by Go Nagai between 1990 and 1998; currently on going again, it's the summa of Nagai's works, for the complexity of the plot and the treated thematic content. 
Mazinsaga tells the story of the young Koji Kabuto, university student who finds himself having to collect the fruit of the researches of his father, physicist of world-wide reputation who died in mysterious circumstances. 
The boy is thus given a powerful artefact, Mazinger Z, the Armor of God.
