A cheerful and jovial detective, Adachi often serves as the story's comic relief. He jokingly refers to himself as the 'slave' of Dojima, complaining of the workload that his partner piles on him. Adachi also often accidentally blurts out the police investigation results to the Investigation Team, much to his own chagrin. He can be seen hanging around Junes Department Store, usually planning to buy cabbages to cook for dinner.    

~!A young police officer in Inaba's police department, and Dojima's partner. In the Normal/True ending path it is revealed that Adachi is behind the two initial murders. He became interested in Mayumi Yamano and Saki Konishi and pushed them into TVs when they spurned his feelings.   At first, he had the intent of raping Mayumi Yamano and she backs into the TV. At that moment, he discovers his power and pushes her in. When Saki Konishi is interviewed for the murder of Mayumi Yamano, Adachi once again attempts to rape her but when she fights back, he pushes her into the TV.   Afterward, he tricks Namatame into kidnapping people under the idea that he was keeping them from danger. He explains that his reason for doing so is nothing more than to entertain himself and disgust for the human world, in fact, he reveals that the only reason he became a police officer was so that he could legally carry a gun.   

He gained his power from Izanami like the Protagonist, though he seems to be unaware of Izanami's influence. He was defeated by the party and arrested for his crimes.   If the player continues towards the true ending the protagonist receives a letter from a recently convicted Adachi, stating his suspicions of a true Conductor behind all of the events of the midnight channel, providing the investigation team with new insight to their reasoning.  It is heavily implied that he is suffering so much because of the expections and pressure from society he has to deal with.!~

Persona 4 takes place in a rural town named Inaba. There have been mysterious murders occurring whenever there was fog after heavy rain. There were also rumors about a channel on television airing only at midnight called Mayonaka TV, during which it is said that one can see his/her "other half" when staring at the TV screen. 
After hearing about a recent unsolved murder which occurred during the fog, the characters—Narukami, Chie, and Yosuke—discuss how each of them had attempted to watch the mysterious TV channel and witnessed the murder victim. The protagonist later realizes that during midnight when the channel is on, his body can phase into his television set as a gateway to enter another world infested with shadows. 
After discovering this, they all decide to explore. When first completely entering the world, dazed and confused, Narukami meets Teddie. Mayonaka TV and the town murders seem to have a connection. The murder victims may be merely victims of Mayonaka TV. Everyone decides that they will together try to solve the mysterious murders by exploring the hidden world of Mayonaka TV.

He was the Black Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and The Green Ranger on Power Rangers Zeo and the Green Turbo Ranger on Power Rangers Turbo. He had his first role in anime as main character Vash the Stampede from Trigun, and after that, he has been voicing a plethora of roles in animes such as Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach, Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass, Zora Ideale in Black Clover, Giyuu Tomioka in Demon Slayer, and more recently Twenty-Fifth Baam in Tower of God.

The story is a continuation of the events depicted in the game Persona 4 Arena and begins the day after it concludes. The Midnight Channel is back on the air and once again broadcasts a strange advertisement for another fighting tournament christened P-1 Climax, that shows members of the Investigation Team and the Shadow Operatives in combat. Just moments after this, Inaba is subject to a power outage and is engulfed by a bizarre red fog.
