Gan-chan (also known as Mitsuo Iwata) is the much-abused temple rat from the "Adventures of Mini-Goddess" series.  Generally nice and friendly, Gan is somewhat emotional and very excitable, but highly prone to gluttony. Due to his nice and trusting nature, he is often led off on some wild adventure by Skuld and Urd, with the end result of Gan getting physically abused in some way. Mauro Eduardo Lima is a Brazilian actor, voice actor, dubbing director and theater director. He is the brother of the voice actress [Márcia Regina](https://anilist.co/staff/106454/).


He was known for providing the voice of Furby, as well as the voice of Newton Gimmick and other voices in the popular toy series The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin in the 1980s. He died on February 11, 2004 from complications following leg surgery at 56 in Burbank, California.
