Robert Garcia is a video game character created by SNK Playmore, formerly known as SNK. Robert stars in the fighting video game Art of Fighting as the lead character along his best friend Ryo Sakazaki. The game features both of them as practitioners of the Kyokugenryu Karate fighting who search for Ryo&#039;s younger sister, Yuri Sakazaki, who was kidnapped by a criminal named Mr. Big. He is additionally featured in most of The King of Fighters crossover games, in which starts into the King of Fighters tournament in teams composed of three members. Thus far, he has been a playable character in every edition of KOF except The King of Fighters XI; however, he has recently been added back in for the PlayStation 2 version of the game.    Robert has additionally appeared in the film adaptation of Art of Fighting, and the manhua from The King of Fighters. He received mixed critics from video games publication, which praised his design, but some also noted him similar to the Street Fighter main characters. He has also been well-received by gamers, appearing in several popularity polls developed by journals and websites.

Son Gokuu is a boy we meet in a forest far from any civilization. He lives in this forest alone as his grandpa passed away, he only has this special orb-like object called a Dragon Ball to remember him by, which he will sometimes talk to as if it is his Grandpa Gohan. As the series continues, Gokuu meets Bulma, a brilliant teenage girl, and they go on a journey to collect these 7 magical dragon balls which actually have wish granting powers once all of them are collected. During this journey they meet and befriend Yamcha, Oolong, and Pu'ar, whose characters mirror those found in Wu Cheng'en's _Journey to the West_. Gokuu also encounters one his closest friends, Kuririn, and others during his time training. Participating in several World Martials Arts Tournaments, ~!Gokuu also battles foes-turned-allies such as Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, as well as the offspring of Demon King Piccolo named Piccolo Junior.!~

_Dragon Ball Z_ takes place 5 years after the defeat of King Piccolo and Gokuu's last world tournament. We come to find out that Son Gokuu was originally named Kakarot, and is born a member of a race of extraterrestrials called the Saiyans. Shortly following his birth, Gokuu was sent from his home, planet Vegeta, to prepare Earth for sale on the intergalactic market by destroying all its life but due to that injury to his head that caused him severe amnesia, Gokuu forgot his purpose, and instead started focusing on becoming stronger for a little more than the pleasure of it. He now has a son named Son Gohan (named after Grandpa Gohan) who is some what of a cry baby but has hidden potential. Throughout the series, Gokuu faces terribly strong opponents like other powerful Saiyans, Intergalactic Rulers, Androids, and Extraterrestrial Beings that give him fights like no other. Along with new enemies, Gokuu also gains new friends that help him in these situations.  

In  _Dragon Ball GT_, which was not based on Toriyama's manga, Gokuu is turned into a child by a wish on the dragon balls by Pilaf. The series revolves around him traveling around space to find the Black Star Dragon Balls with the help of his granddaughter, Pan, and Trunks. The series ends with Gokuu leaving for good with Shenron and returning one hundred years later to witness the match between Gokuu Jr. and Vegeta Jr.  

In  _Dragon Ball Online_ (which takes place 216 years after Dragon Ball Z, and unlike Dragon Ball GT, Toriyama had a lot of creative control over the story), a new villain by the name of Miira appears with the goal to obtain Gokuu's DNA.  In  _Cross Epoch_, the  _Dragon Ball_ and  _One Piece_ crossover one-shot, Gokuu is seen accompanying Luffy to attend a party hosted by Shenron from whom key characters from both series had received an invitation.!~

When asked by his young look-alike Trowa Phobos  what the T in his name stands for, he first answers 'Trowa', but later concedes that it stands for 'Triton', confirming other series materials which indicate that Trowa is Catherine Bloom's long-lost brother. !~

Kidoumaru is the spider-like member of the Sound Four; he possesses four extra arms, has the ability to make webs, and even possesses a third eye. Kidoumaru's webbing is made of a special type of liquid that is created by infusing body liquid with chakra, making it as strong as steel. Kidoumaru can create a stronger, golden webbing called Spider Sticky Gold that hardens upon contact with oxygen to metal-like quality. Because of the solid nature of this webbing, Kidoumaru can shape it into armor or weapons to aid him in battle.

A claustrophobic 4th-year timpanist (percussion), who is an okama. He has the body of a male, but a mind of a female. He developed a crush on Chiaki. Since Nodame starts to hang out with Chiaki, he considers her as a rival and often bullies her and anyone else who tries to get close to Chiaki. Despite his idiosyncrasies, he excels on his percussion skills, earning him the title of "Queen of Percussion" and a place in the S and R☆S orchestras conducted by Chiaki.

Sanji is the chain-smoking chef of the Straw Hat Pirate Crew. He has superb fighting skills that only make use of his legs, in an effort to minimize damage to his hands which would impair his cooking skills. Sanji uses an array of powerful and varied kicking moves when he fights. His cooking skills are world class, and he was mentored in both cooking and fighting by Chef "Red Leg" Zeff of the Baratie. He was born in the North Blue, but grew up in the East Blue. Sanji is trash-talking and serious, and usually gruff and impatient, especially around men. This is contrasted by his "love-cook" side, as he is very amorous around women. Sanji is completely devoted to any beautiful woman, usually losing all common sense and composure in front of them, then attempting to comically swoon them. He has sworn to never let insult or injury happen to any woman while he can still stand, even if that woman is trying to kill him. This is often problematic in his fighting as he can't attack female opponents, and would rather die than hurt them. All this is apparently the result of a "strict upbringing".

His goal in life is to find the All Blue, a legendary ocean, which contains all the fish in the world. As such, it would be paradise for any cook with as much love for his work as Sanji, who holds great respect for the tools, ingredients, and art of cooking. So great is his devotion to his calling, that Sanji will not let any person or creature starve, regardless of them being friend or foe.  Being the crew's chef, he looks out for the health of his crew mates. Sanji respects Luffy as a captain, but often gets angry at him for eating too much, showing disrespect for the aesthetics of cooking, and generally being daft and irresponsible. He is constantly in petty fights with Zoro (sometimes calling him Marimo) over each others' traits and they have developed a rivalry, but have managed to make a devastating team together. He is very protective of the female crew members and Nami likes to take advantage of him, exploiting his extreme servility. Sanji originally wanted to cook Chopper, but has come to respect him as a crew member and friend. He's also good friends with Usopp; they team up and interact often, and Sanji understands him quite well.

Seishun Gakuen 3rd Year Class 4. Kawamura is a modest student and a very hardworking son. However, he changes every time he holds his tennis racquet (or anything, for that matter) from a meek, quiet student into a loud, bold and aggressive person. He also talks in Engrish most of the time. His power tennis surpasses those of other Seigaku members although he tends to be careless when making decisions.

Ryouga is Ranma Saotome's eternal rival and a friend to him, the only one he has outright stated to truly consider as such, arguably the tritagonist, and one of the most powerful fighters in the series. Ryouga's most notable characteristic is that, like his parents (and even his entire family), he has no sense of direction whatsoever. He is unable to go the right way, often sticking to the letter of any directions given to him, regardless of whether the path eventually turns. He has an inability to understand even the simplest of directions or draw any legible maps, once running the wrong way at the start of a three-legged race or getting lost in Shampoo's house for hours; looking for the exit. He cannot even follow someone pointing in the correct direction.

Xellos tends to behave like a playful trickster, answering nearly all questions directed toward him with "Sore wa himitsu desu," literally "That is a secret." He seems to delight in the frustration that ensues with his withholding of information. For the majority of the second season, Xellos acts simply for comedy's sake frequently breaking the fourth wall and addressing the viewers; all the while subtly and even sinisterly advancing the plot. Generally, Xellos' mood can be determined by the state of his eyes. If they are closed, he is acting as the "Trickster Priest," but when he opens them he brings forth the Mazoku. However, on occasion he opens his eyes out of mere surprise (as in the fourth episode of NEXT, when Lina reveals her knowledge of the Pledge Stone).

Xellos' true intentions always seem to be a mystery. As a mazoku his main goal is to return the universe into the nothingness of the Sea of Chaos, but near the end of the series he aids Lina and the others in saving the world instead. Even though he tends to manipulate Lina and the others he has saved their lives on few occasions, such as saving Martina Zoana Mel Navratilova from bandits for no apparent reason, and saving Filia during their battle with Valgaav. The reasons for doing so are never given which leads Xellos to be one of the many enigmas of the series.

Xellos is extremely loyal to Zelas Metallium and usually acts only if ordered (although at times he has aided Lina's group without having been ordered by Zelas), and it is assumed that he would gladly follow any of her requests in order to keep her pleased, even if he is not pleased with them himself (an example of this is when he was ordered to offer to kill Lina Inverse if ValGaav joined the Mazoku side in TRY).

In the novels, the Slayers group generally abhors his presence, while in the anime he is treated as more of a tolerable nuisance.  In the anime, Xellos and Lina seem to have a sort of mutual respect for each other. He seems to enjoy the chaos that follows Lina, and follows her for the sake of fun even if he is not ordered to do so. In the novels Xellos seems to be more distant around her, looking somewhat troubled by the fact that Lina, unlike other humans he has dealt with, is able to see the bigger picture of things and is not tricked so easily.

Zelgadis holds a powerful hatred towards the Mazoku because in the 2nd episode of NEXT, he had destroyed a Claire Bible manuscript which, the chimera thought, might have contained the cure to his appearance. This naturally does not bother Xellos one bit, even though he is the only one who does not tease Zelgadis about his appearance.  When Amelia makes one of her heroic, "justice filled" speeches Xellos listens with amusement and mild curiosity, although they do tend to disturb him at times. When she makes endless comments about how beautiful and wondrous the world and life are Xellos becomes extremely weakened, and even cringes at her minor comments. So great is the effect of these speeches on Xellos that, when forced to fight him, the group has even used one of them as a weapon to render Xellos helpless.

Filia is the only being capable of annoying Xellos. Even though he tries to be polite to her, she continues to insult him and call him names like Raw Garbage (namagomi). Xellos likes to tease Filia by the fact that she is part of the dragon race, he makes comments like " Those of the Dragon Race would rather use violence than trying to compromise", or anything along those lines. Xellos seems to have a personal enjoyment of not only making fun of her, but he seems to like tricking her the most. Her hatred towards him comes from the fact that he killed many dragons during the Kõma Wars (War of the Monsters Fall) 1000 years ago. By the end of the series, they learn to tolerate each other and are capable of having at least one decent conversation.

Xellos is widely considered to be the most powerful Mazoku under the five lords. As such he is nearly immune to all Black Magic, only the spells that call upon Shabranigdo or the Lords can even faze him; however, he is vulnerable to spells that use the power of the Lord of Nightmares, though given his speed it is unlikely that he would allow someone to cast the spell against him.

Immensely powerful, Xellos is capable of annihilating nearly anything using his own power. This is best shown by his destruction of an entire clan of Golden Dragons. However, he tends to underestimate his opponents, leading to himself getting beaten severely by ValGaav.  Like all Mazoku, Xellos can teleport anywhere he can imagine by phasing to and from the Astral Side.

Cye Mouri, known in Japan as Shin Mōri (毛利伸 Mōri Shin), is the oldest of member of the Ronin Warriors and normally one of the calmest. He has an Australian accent in the English dubbing.    Cye&#039;s family situation is similar to the other Ronins. His father died when he was young, his mother is an artisan (more exactly, a famous potter) who is often ill, and he has an older sister named Sayoko, who is married to a fellow whom Cye didn&#039;t like at first. However, the Ronins, Mia, and Yuli are like a family to him and Kento is his best friend.    His armor is the Torrent (known as Suikō (lit. Water) in YST) and his Virtue is Shin (Faith, also referred to as Trust). His weapon is a trident, whose prongs can close, allowing him to grab opponents from afar or cut through obstacles. The armor is also equipped with a tantō dagger and a claw-like weapon on the gauntlet, but he has, apparently, never used either of those. His elemental affinity is water and his surekill is Super Wave Smasher, (known as Chou Ryu Ha (Super Wave Crush) in YST). The attack is a powerful burst of water.    Cye&#039;s main opponent is Sekhmet, the Dark Warlord of Venom. However, in the drama CD, Suikoden, he encounters a villain named Toryuki, a demon living on Earth whose powers were similar to his. Cye is voiced by Michael Donovan in the English dub, and also voices Sage Date.    In the 3rd OVA, Message, Cye receives a new suit of armor and upgraded powers.
