She, being the physically weakest of the team, synchronizes with her cybernetically enhanced calico cat, Luca (ルカ Ruka?) (Vanilla Yamazaki, Kari Wahlgren), to form a composite personality during IGPX Races. Quiet and sympathetic, Amy will often patch up conflicts between other team members, but her sweetness belies her considerable combat abilities. In season 2, Amy is injured in Satomi's race against White Snow. Andrei replaces her for both Velshtein vs Satomi and Skylark vs. Satomi matches. Throughout the series only Amy could hear Luca's 'voice' while racing with him in her mech. However, at the end of the series, at the beginning of Satomi's first race of the 2051 racing season, it is revealed that now all members of Team Satomi can now hear his voice. In episode 4, &quot;The Ghost&quot;, it is revealed that Amy dearly misses her parents, who are always out on business.

Yutaka, a very positive and cheerful but sometimes forgetful girl, is Konata&#039;s cousin and Yui&#039;s younger sister. Also referred to as &quot;Yu-chan&quot; by Konata and Sōjirō. When Konata became a third year student, she was admitted to Ryōō Gakuen High School as a first year student. She is in the same class, 1-D, as Minami and ran for candidacy for class president on the first day of school. She came to live with Konata&#039;s family since her body is weak, making her prone to getting sick, and it was too far for her to commute to school from her home. Yutaka wears her hair with small pig tails and often wears a ribbon in her hair. She is an indoor person, so her height and her physique are smaller than Konata. Her primary concern is her height and her body development. However, she realizes her dreams are futile since her cousin Konata hasn&#039;t developed at all.

A soft-spoken, well-groomed second-year student with long, light green hair, Emiri first appears in &quot;Mysterique Sign&quot; seeking counsel from the SOS Brigade claiming she is the girlfriend of the Computer Research Society president,      ~!Kyon later discovers that this is not the case, which leads him to suspect that Emiri is a Humanoid Interface like Yuki and Ryoko.    Emiri later reappears as the secretary to the president of the Student Council. By this time, it is implied that she is Yuki&#039;s superior, or at the very least her minder, as a consequence of Yuki&#039;s world-altering actions. Emiri is also later shown to work part-time (and against the rules of the School Council) as a waitress in the cafe frequented by the SOS Brigade.    In  _The Astonishment of Haruhi Suzumiya_, Emiri reveals that Nagato transferred part of her judgment skills to Emiri to use while Nagato was sick. Asakura warns Kyon that Emiri will be harder to get help from than herself because Emiri will be too confined by the commands of her superiors - only &quot;watching.&quot; !~

Nia Teppelin is a mysterious young girl found sleeping in a capsule in the middle of a dump site by Simon. She had no prior contact with humans, except her father, who is also the sovereign of the Beastmen, the Spiral King. She is very curious, pure and innocent, due to growing up sheltered in a peaceful environment, away from all the battles occurring in the outside world. Despite early misgivings, she is quickly accepted by Team Dai-Gurren, much to the (initial) irking of Yoko.

~!During her journey, she develops a strong empathy towards Simon and grows to be his fiancé. After her encounters with Divine Generals Adiane and Guame, she comes to an understanding of the reason Simon found her outside the palace, being forsaken by her father after she started attaining her own will and self-consciousness, as he considered his offspring merely toys to play with as dolls, and decides to join The Team Dai-Gurren as a cook (even though her cooking is unbearable to anybody but Simon) in order to confront her father. In the final battle with Lord Genome, she boards Lagann with Simon and aids him in the destruction of Lord Genome. Seven years after Teppelin's fall, Nia and Simon are engaged, but soon after she is overtaken by the Anti-Spiral race to become a digital messenger.!~

~!Seven days after the return to Earth, she and Simon get married, though she begins to fade away before the shocked crowd and an unsurprised Simon. She tells Simon she loves him, and he answers back saying that he will never forget her "till the end of the universe". Nia corrects him, stating it will never end and that's what they'd worked so hard for. She smiles as Simon says he loves her before she completely fades away.!~

She has lent her voice to many animated characters, such as Starfire from Teen Titans, Penny Sanchez from Chalkzone, and Elsie the Cat from Stanley.
