Hinata is a bright young guy and everyone likes him for his kindness. He is very popular to new students as he has a helping attitude towards his juniors and newcomers at school. He is comedy relief in some situations and a pervert in others. He will always try to save his comrades if he can and is a reliable force in the team.

He has a very modern cell phone with the phrase "noblesse oblige" printed on it and 8.2 billion yen in digital money credit. When he makes his first call, a female voice claiming to be Juiz answers. After she sent him a map with the place where he was supposed to go he finds, in his apartment, guns and many different passports which seemed to all belong to him (after his arrival in Japan, Juiz told him that he has to use up all his digital money). Then he met the girl named Saki and they return to Japan together.

Kotarou is technically a shy type of boy who doesn't blend well with other people, claiming his only good point was probably his skill in solving rubix cubes. He has low self-esteem, making him doubt that Himemiko actually loves him and that it might just be a cruel prank of some kind.

When Yoshimori is chasing after Kaguro (actually it is Shion, who is dressed up as Kaguro) during the Kokuboro assault on Karasumori site, he follows Yoshimori secretly but winds up getting caught by the Kokuboro members. He is rescued by Yoshimori and helps (albeit briefly) in the following fight against Kaguro. In the latest manga chapters, he is instructed by Masamori to observe the ones chosen by Karasumori. In order to do this he, and fellow intelligence division member Shuu (who transferred from the combat division with Sen), are enrolled in the same school as Yoshimori and Tokine. It has been revealed that Sen possesses the ability to read into the minds of people although, so far, he can only see their outermost thoughts. The only moves he cannot copy are the special skills of truly exceptional players, like the other members of the "Generation of Miracles". Beyond being a strong player in his own right, Kise respects Kuroko's abilities and wishes to play with him once again. He seems to have a slight obsession with Kuroko, believing that they were the two who got along most in middle school (though Kuroko said they didn't) and often blurting out random facts about him (mentioning that Kuroko was an Aquarius, even though Kasamatsu was talking about Midorima). Judar is one of the four Magi in the current era and a Magician who specializes in Ice Magic. He is the former Oracle of Al-Thamen and the Kou Empire after siding with Hakuryuu to aid him in taking over Kou Empire. According to Hakuryuu Ren, the name "Judar" was given by Al-Thamen, and his real name is unknown. He is the one of the main antagonist of the series. "Judar" in arabic means argument, debate, controversy.
