A taciturn, mysterious girl from Class 3-B, very often found skipping class to hang out on the roof of the school building. Quick witted and free-spirited, she's constantly at odds with the by-the-book Chizuru, sometimes purposely trying to get on her nerves. She loves yakisoba bread. 

Though her demeanor and appearance make her seem unapproachable, she's very playful and friendly with Takeru, Miki & the others. Even so, Kei almost never relies on those around her and tends to try to keep a distance from the others. 

In Alternative, Kei is at a seemingly never-ending impasse with Chizuru, often deviating from her orders or getting in heated personal arguments with each other. She's skilled in close-range combat and prefers to adapt her plans on the fly, making her hard to work with. 


An American colleague of Alec who works for the C-Project at Mikage International. She&#039;s responsible for the C-Genomer&#039;s power growth and development. She dies when she puts herself between Mikagi and a pregnant Ceres.  

Motoki Sae is Misao&#039;s teacher. She is also a school classmate and astronomy clubmate of Akira&#039;s. She has a powerful punch, which she has used in the past to save Akira from bullies at an arcade.    At school, she tends to behave a little weird, as she is young and inexperienced. She is trying hard to get Kawahara Jou and Misao together as a couple.    In her personal life, her parents are trying to get her married, forcing her to attend an omiai (marriage interview) against her will.

Koyuki's music teacher at school, she gets to know Saitou through Koyuki and they start to develop a relationship through the series.

Snow Dancers were creatures sent by Princess Snow Kaguya to prepare the Earth by covering it with snow. They appeared to be made of ice and attacked by throwing ice and snow, freezing their opponents who were hit.

ManeMane Musume was a Lemures used by VesVes when targeting Nanako for her Dream Mirror. The Lemures resembled a monkey, and attacked by mimicking her opponents.

Main woman in the story I Shall Never Return. The girl who loses her boyfriend to his best friend.
According to the mangaka, Kazuna Uchida, first girl character of hers to whom she could relate, and who inspired he to want to write more girl characters.

Menou Kurashina is a minor character in the anime.  She is an young ill girl who is locked up in her room.  One day, however, she happens to meet the main characters grandfather while he was returning home from stealing.  Even though, she seems to play an insignificant role in the main series.  Her character plays a major role in Daiki's life.  She befriends him, despite him being a thief and in the end, despite her premature death.  Daiki says that he believes that she is the one who had come to save him.  She is a shy, timid girl who plays an important role in the story due to her connection to Daiki's life.  

Rina Takamiya is a classmate of Meimi and Asuka's, and she meets the later in an arcade where she tries to beat a video game for him, much to his dismay. There she witness the delivery of a calling card from Saint Tail, and appears at the location the card indicates, claiming that she will catch Saint Tail because she wants to become a police woman. Along with Asuka she fails, although she is then determined to capture the theif.    As the mayor's daughter, Rina is able to accompany Asuka on his mission to capture Saint Tail. And she soon develops a theory who Saint Tail is, at the same time developing feelings for Asuka herself. She tried reveal Meimi as Saint Tail numerous times, but failed. She also offered to tell Asuka who Saint Tail really was, but he declined, claiming he would catch her on his own to find out.     Rina is a headstrong and stubborn character, she is also physically strong, which balances with Meimi's agility. At the beginning of the series she is also a little taller than Asuka, however, he grows over the series, which sparks some of her feelings for him. 

She is Hazumu's mother, who loves to buy new feminine clothes for Hazumu to wear. Usually she buys these clothes without consulting Hazumu herself and regardless Hazumu ends up wearing them, though Hazumu doesn't put up any resistance to her new and ever increasing wardrobe.

Erina joins the Nadesico at the same time as Nagare and proves to be just as irritating to the other characters.  Her official post is co-helmswoman, but she ends up pushing orders onto everyone around and even the captain.  She has a great fascination with Akito because of his boson jumping abilities and constantly confronts him to become a experiment guinea pig.  In episode 22, she cries when Akito leaves, which may hint at her feelings for him.  She makes a really brief appearance in the movie.

Caldina is a dancer who speaks with an Osaka accent (which is translated as a deep Southern accent in the English dub, due to the translations including words like &quot;y&#039;all&quot;), wears extremely skimpy clothing, and has an endless passion for money (several notable similarities to Naga from Slayers).    Zagato hires her as an assassin after his other minions fail; in addition to her dancing skills, she is an accomplished illusionist and hypnotist. In the anime she has great affection for Ascot, whom she treats as a na&iuml;ve younger brother, and she joins him in deserting Zagato.

It is revealed in the second manga series that she is native to Chizeta. It&#039;s also been shown that Caldina is incredibly good at cards and other games of chance. Romantically, Caldina becomes involved with Lafarga in both versions of the series.
