Jun Misugi is easily one of Japan’s best players. Unfortunately, his failing heart condition forces him to play for only a short time almost every game. During Japan's match against Argentina, Japan's coach silently thought to himself that Jun would have been Japan's top player (even better than Tsubasa) if it wasn't for his current heart injury; indeed, Jun scored Japan's final goal in that match. He completely recovered in the World Youth Series though. Jun is strong-willed and dedicated besides being kind and clever. Jun can read the opposing team’s formation and tactics even when he is not playing on the field; not to mention his ability on how to control his opponent’s movements.

Eriol Hiiragizawa moved from England to transfer to Tomoeda Elementary school. He is depicted as a quiet, mature boy while at school, though he also shows a mischievous side when he regularly joins classmate Takashi Yamazaki in weaving complex lies about the history of objects, places, and events. While seeming a normal student to Sakura, Syaoran Li is suspicious of him.

Kurapika is a member of the Kurta tribe who were massacred by the Phantom Troupe (The Spiders) 4 years prior the Hunter exam. The Kurta tribe was an isolated group of people whose eyes would turn scarlet when angered or excited. These scarlet eyes were known to be beautiful, being one of the seven most beautiful things in the world. Because of this, the Kurta tribe was constantly pursued and eventually massacred. The eyes of the tribe members were all taken away during the massacre. Kurapika is so far the only known survivor with a heart bent on revenge. He strives to have his revenge against the Phantom Troupe as well as to recover the eyes of his tribe members.  Despite having a heart full of hatred, Kurapika is very kind and loyal towards his friends. He is an extremely intelligent person but at the same time reckless. 

One of the starting Raimon Eleven in the anime. According to the DS games, he's known for his "half-done" "half-baked" attitude (a pun with his last name, Handa, which has the character for "half").

Tobitaka is a slick punk from Raimon Town who leads a street gang and often gets into fights. He made a name for himself with his powerful kick and is discovered by Hibiki in the woods in the midst of another rumble with a rival gang. Hibiki urges Tobitaka to make "better use of that kick" and begins to teach him how to play Soccer in secret. Tobitaka gets a shot at joining the country's national team, Inazuma Japan and manages to get a spot for himself on the team. Slowly but surely, he develops his skills and even becomes a role model of sorts to the young Toramaru. He's never seen without his trademark hair-comb. Atsuishi Shigeto is a member of Prominence and later on Chaos, then a midfielder of Neo Japan. In the game, he is a reserve goalkeeper of Neo Japan. 

A friend of Max. Rex was found as an infant by paleontologist Dr. Owen, in an egg-like container within a dinosaur exhibit in New York. Rex. Now 12, has been left with Max and his family (Dr. Owen being a family friend) while his father goes searching for fossils. Rex's partner is a Carnotaurus called Ace. An intelligent but worrisome teen who always carries a &quot;dictionary/encyclopedia/compendium of all human knowledge&quot;, and has a sixth sense, meaning he can see supernatural beings, even though he is not a Shaman. He is very expressive and a bit panicky. His rather abnormal height has gotten him into trouble numerous times, once having been mistaken for one of the shy nature spirits, and being cut open and used as a hostage of sorts during Yoh Asakura&#039;s match with Faust VIII. In the anime, during the final battle with Hao, he actually becomes a Shaman and is able to merge with a spirit.

Ryou comes from a wealthy family and has been stated to have an IQ surpassing 180, making him a natural genius, especially when it comes to genetics. It has also been rumored that he graduated from an American University. Because of this, and events in his past, he has a removed, sarcastic, and rude nature towards most of the cast, apart for his childhood friend, Akasaka-san. Despite this, he seems to be a kind person underneath, something that Ichigo catches on to later in the series, probably most obvious when he is trying to encourage Lettuce who has little self-confidence. He seems to have a romantic interest in the main character, Ichigo, but, these feelings are not returned. Ryou is headstrong and serious, but has moments where he will behave immaturely, such as his arguing with and teasing Ichigo.

~!Ryou is dedicated to the Mew Project. When Dr. Shirogane's (Ryou's father) project was ready, Ryou was unsure that it would be safe, so he tested it on himself. He didn't have the right genes, so he didn't turn into a proper Mew Mew, but does have the ability to change into a cat for ten minutes. If he stays a cat for longer than that, he is permanently stuck in cat form.!~

~!When he is a gray cat, he goes by the name Alto. He wears a green scarf around his neck. Alto was introduced in episode 28. Alto saved Ichigo's life many times and has kissed her in order to return her back into human form. Ryou is the one who gave the girls their Mew Pendants so that they could transform. He was also the one who (with Keiichiro) chose which people would get the Red Data Animal DNA implanted in them.!~

Kaiba&#039;s little brother. Mokuba is always following Seto where ever he goes. He has a very strong bond with his brother and has all of his faith within Seto as well. Mokuba helps run Seto&#039;s company and will do what ever it takes to please his brother.

He had a crush on Satomi Anzaki since they've first met. In one episode, he even confessed to her that he loves her, although she rejected him. He is the star player of the team. TJ is Harvey's younger brother who encounters Nadja and the Dandelion Troupe in France. TJ is a tough kid, but he has great affection for his older brother Harvey who raised him. Keigo is typically a goofy and an extremely hyper-active character, often using overly-dramatic movements and words to act out his feelings. In other respects, he is the stereotypical Japanese teenager: he enjoys watching fireworks, playing role-playing-games, going to beach parties, and so forth. Originally little more than a source of comic relief, Keigo becomes a more prominent character later in the series. The Asano family consists of Keigo's mother, father, his sister Mizuho, and Keigo himself. Like Tatsuki Arisawa, he is unusual in that he lives with both of his parents, unlike many other recurring characters in the series.  A good-natured teenager, Keigo is used mainly for comical effect, usually in situations involving failed attempts to woo girls and interacting with Ichigo. He is good friends with fellow student Mizuiro Kōjima, whose calm, innocent demeanor, and success with women acts as a foil to Keigo's impulsive, wannabe personality.  Keigo appears to be a shallow character at first glance, with a passion for slacking off. Indeed, he takes great pride in not making it to the honors roster (higher than the 50th ranking) and labels those who do so "traitors" (including Ichigo and Chad, who made the 23rd and 11th ranks respectively). However, Mizuiro states that Keigo is much smarter than his bad grades show.  Later, it is revealed that Keigo can see ghosts and even soul reapers, in the Hueco Mundo/Arrancar arc. The first soul reaper Keigo ever saw was Ikkaku Madarame, who saved him from an arrancar. Gitano Shigeo is a teenager was offered the parakeet in which Yuuichi Shibata's soul resided, but refused because it was cursed. He was saved from a enormous steel beam by Chad. He is later again seen with his friend Harutoki and Chad on their way to get someting to eat, he even goes to say that he'll die if he doesn't get anything to eat. He was again saved by Chad when they are suddenly attacked by a Hollow. He is usually seen carring a guitar case suggesting that he may be a musician.

Johnny is happy-go-lucky, much like Yosaku. Jonny tends to be the more serious of the pair, though he acts being silly around Yosaku from time to time. Johnny is also dimwitted to some extent. He also has a huge cowardly side to him, as seen when he willingly abandoned Zoro to run off to safety with Usopp.

Yajirobe is a human who first appeared near the end of Dragon Ball. He is a samurai who used to live in the wilderness. He met Son Goku when Goku ate the fish he was cooking, which lead to a conflict between them. The two become friends just as Piccolo Daimao's third offspring Cymbal shows up wanting the One-Star Dragon Ball Yajirobe has. Yajirobe defeats and eats Cymbal. With the Piccolo Daimao threat abound, Yajirobe cowers instead of joining Goku to defeat him. He supports the Z Fighters mostly from the sidelines after by living with Karin, growing and delivering Senzu to the group.    ~!Yajirobe shows a surprising moment of bravery during the Vegeta Saga, when he uses his katana to sever Oozaru Vegeta's tail, and later slicing through Vegeta's armor. !~  After that, his role as a fighter ends, and his overall role in the series is just giving the heroes Senzu Beans, although he is the spotlight of some comic-relief filler during the Artificial Human and Cell Sagas. By the time of the Majin Buu Saga, he is a minor character, but still makes small appearances. He only briefly appears in Dragon Ball GT, now having a mustache, in episode 40.  In the alternate Future Trunks time line, Yajirobe, interestingly enough, didn't go into hiding with Master Roshi and the others but instead fought against the Artificial Humans. Although this is not seen in the Trunks TV Special, a brief scene of his death is seen in the Cell Saga of the anime.  He is voiced in the original Japanese version by Mayumi Tanaka, who also voices Kuririn (this was more than likely done because the original manga has Goku saying that Yajirobe's voice sounds like Kuririn's).
