Crim is a powerful Long Arm, friend of Subaru who founded the Crimson Knights organization with her, but afterwards left it as he found it did not match his personality. Amiable, easygoing and sociable; he prefers to keep the real world and the game seperate. Crim's stated goal when playing is simply to have fun, although he never turns down a chance to help somebody in need.   In real life, he is a business man, and is frequently sent off on business trips to places all around the world. His age is unknown. He and BT have met in real life.   His main hobby is playing The World, and he also likes to read books. Ryo Sakuma is one of his favorite authors and he frequently uses quotes from his books in the game. 

Daimaru Sumiyoshi, usually referred to by his surname, is one of the three residents living in the apartment next to Excel and Hyatt, the other two being Norikuni Iwata and Toru Watanabe. The three are almost constantly together, appearing throughout the series as one of the many side stories going on behind the main storyline. The ever-silent counterbalance to Iwata&#039;s antics and Watanabe&#039;s uptight normality, Sumiyoshi has a sensical, but fun-loving personality, and often acts as something of a tiebreaker when disputes break out between the two of them.    Most noticable about Sumiyoshi is the fact that he never speaks aloud, instead conferring all of his thoughts through standalone text within the panel or on-screen. This is used as a running gag throughout the series, and is even referenced on occasion by other characters. (Ex. Iwata complaining that he can&#039;t read it when he writes it so fast)    Sumiyoshi&#039;s appearance is that of an overweight, average-clothed young man with a very wide face, glasses that hide his pupils, and a wide, perpetually closed mouth. The facts that his expression almost never changes and his eyes are rarely, if ever, shown are both running gags as well.

Edward "Fullmetal Alchemist" Elric is a young alchemical prodigy. He is the youngest State Alchemist ever to be recognized by the Amestris State Military, having received the title at the age of 12. Ed's primary motivation throughout the series is to return his younger brother, Alphonse, to his original body, which was lost in a failed human transmutation. Edward, despite his occasional bouts of immaturity, is a selfless boy who gains a reputation as a "hero of the people" throughout his youth. Notably, he doesn't seem concerned about returning his own arm and leg, instead focusing entirely on Al's suffering.

Edward is small for his age, standing at only 149 cm (4'11"), however his body is that of an experienced martial artist, with noticeable muscles and a wealth of agility. Although he lacks both his right arm and left leg, Ed's ability to fight is not impaired, and is in fact improved, as he will often use alchemy to cause his metal arm to partly transform into a blade or shield. He is able to think quickly, even in desperate situations, though can still be frightened into paralysis. These qualities, combined with his alchemical powers and physical strength, make him a formidable fighter.

Keiki is a kirin and the Saiho of Kei. He contacted Youko in Japan and brought her to the Twelve Kingdoms, though they were separated. Soon afterwards, he fell under a spell from Kou's Saiho, and was forced to appear in front of a pretender to the throne of Kei. Like all Kirin, Keiki abhors violence and prefers peaceful resolutions. A third-year who is currently the captain of the Seigaku tennis team. He is known to be a National-level player and has been noted by many characters in the series to be one of the toughest opponents in their era.

Ryuuhou is widely regarded as the strongest HOLY member. He develops a strong rivalry with Kazuma, the only native alter on Lost Ground to escape HOLY, continuously foil HOLY's plans afterwards, and fight Ryuuhou one-on-one without being defeated instantly.

In searching for a cure for his eyes, Rezo learned all sorts of magic, but none of them helped him. Mikael is a puzzling character in the beginning of I'm Gonna Be An Angel. In the beginning of the anime, it is apparent that he shares an intangible relation with Noelle, even to the extent in which he is capable of speaking to her through telepathy. He encourages her to become an angel. He carries the Book of Chaos, in which the text fills a single page for each instance in which Noelle accomplishes an angelic deed. He is very strange in each episode for reason and it seems reason the other side where boys go at it. He seem to be in a romantic relationship with Raphael.

Father Tres is a battle android who wields two guns and works with unemotional, relentless efficiency. His functions are rather limited to combat situations. His vocabulary is devoid of emotion and genuine caring much like a computer or A.I., expressing statements such as, &quot;Status report&quot; in lieu of &quot;Are you alright&quot; and &quot;negative/positive&quot; instead of &quot;no/yes&quot;. The young heir to a powerful Merchant, the Ayamaro, in the city where Kirara begins her search. His shielded lifestyle leaves him with a somewhat self-centered yet playful attitude on life, really a cover for a rather calculating, manipulative and cruel character. He falls in lust with Kirara upon first sight and seeks to add her to his harem. When Ayamaro is summoned to the capital, he becomes the new minister of the city of Kogakyo. However, Ukyo himself is soon summoned to the capital, where he is revealed to be a replicant of the current emperor, Amanushi, who sent Ukyo out to be raised by peasants and taught by merchants in the hope of creating a successor worthy to be emperor. After surviving a 3-day ordeal, Ukyo is proclaimed heir to the throne. He then murders the emperor to succeed him and launches a plan to pit the villagers, ronin and nobuseri bandits against one another to consolidate his control.    Ukyo has an extreme dislike for mechanical samurai, especially the Nobuseri and Kikuchiyo, because they remind him of his days as a peasant when he himself was terrorized by bandits.     ~!  Ukyo is eventually killed in the final episode by falling into a ravine along with the capital ship. !~
