Kou Seiya is the leader of the Sailor Starlights and the lead vocals for the Three Lights. In general, Seiya acts arrogant and tends to be, at least on the surface, confident in his/her own abilities.   Over the course of the series, Seiya develops strong feelings for Usagi and his attempts to forge a bond with her provides the primary romantic tension of the season. From their first meeting on, Seiya calls Usagi odango, like Mamoru does. The two even go on a date at an amusement park, which prematurely ends when Sailor Iron Mouse attacks.   The relationship between Sailor Star Fighter and Princess Kakyuu is slightly ambiguous. In the manga, the princess had a lover who was killed by Galaxia. In the anime, it is implied Seiya's romantic feelings for Usagi may be a confusion with similar feelings for Kakyuu.

The Soul Society ordeal put him at odds with his formerly closest friend Sajin Komamura, as well as his former Lieutenant in the 9th Division, Shuuhei Hisagi.    Tousen&#039;s creed in life is to &quot;take the path with the least bloodshed&quot;; it was for this reason that he felt it necessary to follow Sousuke Aizen. Despite this, he knows of Aizen&#039;s plan to create the King&#039;s Key, which will require the deaths of thousands of innocent people. He was also willing to attack and kill members of his own division while acting as the 5th seat, including Hollowfying his own captain. Tousen, along with Gin Ichimaru was identified by Kenpachi Zaraki as being afraid of death, this is later confirmed with him saying he only feared being assimilated into the Shinigami culture and dying a pointless death. His own description of himself as a &quot;pure being&quot; when explaining why Wonderweiss Margela likes him shows degrees of pride and arrogance as well. Also, despite stating many times how much his friend loved the world, he himself never said so, and in fact hated the world that took away his friend. As Captain of the 9th Division, which is charged with the editing of Seireitei Communication, Tousen was the chief editor of the journal. He himself wrote a serialization titled &quot;The Path of Justice&quot;, which was not very popular, until he began to publish cooking recipes in his articles, which made them more popular among female Shinigami. This also indicates that his speciality is indeed cooking, his favorite dishes being chicken stewed with carrots and other sophisticated ones. He does not like pickled food. Tousen also has several unique relationships with the Arrancars. Tousen thinks of Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez in the same manner as Kenpachi Zaraki; a killing machine that will cause only more bloodshed in the world. Wonderweiss Margera seems to have a great affection towards him. Tousen explains that this is because they are both pure spirits, and that pure spirits tend to attract and follow each other. !~

At the start of the series, Lief is the son of a blacksmith who lives in the run down city of Del. He is (as Barda describes him)&#039;A young hot-head&#039; and spends his time roaming the streets and both tempting and dodging trouble. In the third series, Lief must take the belt around Deltora to awaken the ancient Dragons which must then help him destroy the sisters of the North South East and West.    If you pay very close attention, you will be able to spot in the eighth book that Lief&#039;s hair is, in fact, dark. Takeru Takaishi is a character in the anime and manga series Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02 and Digimon Adventure tri.. He is a DigiDestined, partnered with Patamon, and embodies the trait of Hope. He is the younger brother of Yamato Ishida.

Takeru is a very cheerful and amiable person. He doesn't like when others are fighting or sad, and will do anything in his power to make others happy. He is very protective of his loved ones, especially after Patamon's sacrifice, and takes his duty as a protector of the Digital World very seriously. He is rather optimistic, and always tries to keep a smile on his face.

Suneo is the fox-faced (inherited from his mother) rich kid who loves to flaunt his material wealth before everyone. He is often seen with Gian, serving as Gian's lackey while they bully Nobita together, though deep down he fears and despises him as much as everyone else. Some of the stories start with Suneo showing off some new video game or toy which evokes Nobita's envy. He has an extensive knowledge of science, and is a talented artist and designer. He has the habit to invite Gian and Shizuka to something or someplace, but always leave Nobita out with one excuse or another. In some scenes, Suneo is seen as a narcissist who loves to stare at himself in the mirror while telling himself that he is the most handsome guy in the world. He is still a bed-wetter and needs to wear diapers when he sleeps, despite being in the fourth grade. He considers this humiliating habit his secret weakness. Suneo is also very self-conscious about his height, being the shortest kid in his class.

Dende is a Namekian who takes the role of the Earth's god after Kami fuses with Piccolo. He is first introduced in the Namek Saga when Son Gohan and Kuririn save him from Dodoria. He gets his power unlocked by their elder, giving him the power to heal. He aids the warriors during the fight with Freeza until he is killed by the tyrant. After being revived by Shenlong, he lives on New Namek until Son Goku can teleport there during the Cell Saga to ask a Namekian to become the new God of Earth and revive the Dragon Balls. Sendo is an In Fighter with arm strength on par with Makunouchi Ippo. To date, he is the only boxer to face Ippo more than once in the pro ring and is his chief rival. Sendo is a featherweight and his most well known move is his powerful smash. He greatly admires boxer Rocky Marciano, to the extent that he will personally point out that he is not the same &quot;Rocky&quot; from the film of the same name. The young leader of a yōrōzoku (yōkai-wolf tribe), Kōga wishes to avenge his fallen comrades who were slaughtered by Kagura, one of Naraku&#039;s minions. While brash and arrogant, he is shrewd enough to run from a fight if he thinks he can&#039;t win. He has a shikon shard in each of his legs which make him stronger and faster. Although he bickers with InuYasha constantly, when one of them is in danger, the other will lend a hand. He considers Kagome his woman, which irritates InuYasha to no end. Koga constantly confesses his love towards Kagome but Kagome does not share his affections, only having eyes for InuYasha. As the series goes on, Koga lets up on his affections for Kagome gradually. Eventually, in chapter 466 of the manga, he leaves her behind with the statement &#039;if InuYasha ever starts getting on your nerves, you can come to me.&#039; (&quot;Koga&quot; means &quot;steel fang.&quot;)

Kimimaro was the fifth member of the Sound Four, thus temporarily changing their group name to the Sound Five. The original four were forced to accept him against their will, as Kimimaro's combat abilities exceeded all of their skills combined. He was the sole survivor of the Kaguya clan, who could manipulate their bodies' skeletal frame. The Kaguya clan was wiped out when they attacked Kirigakure, seemingly for no reason other than the desire to kill. Having underestimated their opponent's defenses, they were slaughtered to the last man, with only Kimimaro surviving.  NOTE: Though some fans believe that his full name was Kimimaro Kaguya, the second databook only said his name as Kimimaro.  Kimimaro was referred to by Orochimaru as the most powerful member of the clan, having "abilities that even that war-loving clan feared". Because of this, he was locked away in a cage for most of his life, only released occasionally when needed to fight other clans.

Like many of Orochimaru's closest followers, Kimimaro was branded with a cursed seal, which gives him greater power at the expense of his free will. When in his level 2 form, his appearance is similar to that of a dinosaur, with dark gray skin, six large bone spines on the back of his chest, and a long bone spiked tail. He also possesses a great deal of control over his cursed seal, as he is able to control its spread throughout his body without fully activating it. Kimimaro was apparently friends with Jugo at one point, and his control over his cursed seal impressed the latter. Karin claims that Kimimaro was the only one who could stop Jugo without getting hurt.   ~! Kimimaro succumbed to his disease and died in the middle of his fight with Gaara during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, moments before he was about to deliver the finishing blow to Gaara and Lee.!~  

Shin'emon requested Konoha's help in escorting a &quot;priceless&quot; tea cup Kachoufuugetsu (Beauty of Nature) to an exhibition. When Naruto and Kiba arrived to help their client transport the cup, they learned he was petty, valuing the cup more than their lives. When bandits stole the cup, the three went to retrieve it. Shin'emon took the bandit leader on alone, and fought his hardest to get it back. After he retrieved the cup, the leader chose to destroy his cave lair with all inside. Shin'emon fled but he lost the cup over a ledge where it broke on the floor below. He himself went over the edge. As he fell he thought over how bad a person he had been and was surprised to see Naruto save him. They eventually made it to the exhibition without the cup. Shin'emon explained how he could simply make another tea cup. And he pointed out how the priceless treasure was his own life rather than the cup, since he could make an even better vessel next time.    

Kensuke Aida is an otaku, a military buff, Toji&#039;s best friend, and one of the &quot;Other Children,&quot; Eva pilot candidates in the same class as Shinji, Toji, Rei, Asuka, and Hikari. His hobbies include camping in the mountains surrounding Tokyo-3 and playing at simulated war reenacting - by himself. Kensuke solidifies his friendship with Shinji after Shinji saves him and Toji during the fight against the fourth Angel, Shamshel. Kensuke dreams of becoming an Eva pilot and ceaselessly begs Shinji to pull strings in NERV so he can be selected as a pilot, despite Shinji telling him that he has no say in the matter. He also seems oblivious to the intense physical and psychological duress endured by Eva pilots. Nevertheless, Kensuke enjoys the privileges of being the friend of an Eva pilot; he and Toji accompany Shinji on the excursion to the UN combined naval fleet during the transportation of Unit 02. Like presumably every one of Shinji&#039;s classmates, Kensuke&#039;s mother is deceased. Like Toji, Kensuke has a crush on Misato Katsuragi. He is rarely seen without his camcorder at hand.

_Kensuke is named after a main character in the novel The Fascism of Love and Fantasies (Ai to Gensou no Fascism) by Ryu Murakami. He is also similar in appearance to the character Jean, from Hideaki Anno&#039;s earlier anime Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water._

Drew made his debut appearance in Now that's Flower Power!. Like Ash's main rival, Gary, Drew is portrayed as being confident, critical, and popular among his supporters, though generally not as overly insulting as Gary initially was.   When Drew had participated in his very first contest, he had lost badly to a strong coordinator named Solidad. He said the loss was so heart-breaking for him it had even made him cry. Though he had suffered a defeat in his first contest, he endeavored to become a better coordinator and has succeeded to a good extent. He used to be very prone to nervousness when he started his career as a coordinator.   He used to taunt May when he first met her because she used to be like him when he first started out. Even though his comments and attitude may have angered May, he still provides a helping hand whenever she needs it. Drew’s skills have been a continuing inspiration for May to better herself as a coordinator.   When Drew participated at the Slateport City Contest in Win, Lose or Drew!, he and his Roselia defeated May and her Beautifly, but went on to lose to Robert and his Milotic. Drew shows up again in Pros and Con Artists for the Fallarbor Town Contest. During the contest, however, he loses to Grace and her Medicham. Following the contest, Drew congratulates the winner, May, by giving her a rose. The gesture (which is repeated in later encounters) is seen by some fans to be a hint towards a romantic relationship between the two but no direct hints have been shown.   Notably, Drew made it to the finals of the Hoenn Grand Festival in Rhapsody in Drew by beating May in the semi-finals. However, he lost in the finals to Robert, who also beat him in the Slateport City contest, and was placed second.   Afterwards he decided to go for the Contests in the Kanto region along with May and their other rival, Harley. In May, We Harley Drew'd Ya!, he was reunited with his old rival and friend Solidad, who had defeated him a long time ago. During the Kanto Grand Festival, he lost to May in the semi-finals who was placed in the Top 4.   In The Unbeatable Lightness of Seeing, he said he would be traveling to Johto to participate in the contests in that region. He has the Contest Passes to compete in Hoenn, Kanto and Johto as well and as of Pruning a Passel of Pals! he had made cameo appearances in a A Full Course Tag Battle! flashback, watching May perform at the Wallace Cup. Tate is known as the 7th gym leader along with his twin sister Liza in Mossdeep, Hoenn. In the anime, he is always picked on by his sister Liza for being a couple of minutes younger than she is (and thus is inexperienced compared to her).    His prized pokemon is Solrock.

The main character. A citizen of Japoness, a country of Terra II which resembles feudal Japan &amp; guardian of the Japoness Sabers: Lime, Cherry, &amp; Bloodberry. He eventually discovers the three marionettes and forms a sort of family with them. Initially, Otaru seems to be very asexual and becomes constantly overwhelmed by the marionettes and their affection, which he returns only platonically, and equally to the three. His weapon is a sai in which the blade can extend to become a sword and the tail of it can be used to reel his friends to safety. Has a distinctive two-color hair-style of light brown on the front and dark brown in the back.

One of The 3 Judges of Hell along with [Rhadamanthys](https://anilist.co/character/18723) and [Aiacos](https://anilist.co/character/7391), and the most powerful between them, with a calm and careful fighting style. Mugen is rude, vulgar, and often thinks highly himself. Much of his past is a mystery. He was born on the Ryukyu Islands, never knew his parents, and was a former pirate. After an incident forced him to fake his death, he became a vagabond. But things changed after he met Jin and Fuu. Though very rough around the edges, he has a mutual understanding with Jin and cares for Fuu more than he lets out, considering he usually ends up going after her whenever she gets kidnapped.   His fighting style is described as a "champloo", which means "mix". It combines all sorts of martial arts, unorthodox swordplay and break dancing. He relies on instinct and reflex to surprise his enemies.   His style of clothing represents the future, whereas Jin's represents the past. His black hair is usually untidy, and is similar in shape to an afro.

Lyserg has dramatic interactions with all of the main characters at some point, and though he travels with them for a long time, he fights against [Yoh's](https://anilist.co/character/167/Yoh-Asakura) team more than once during the series.  

Lyserg is an intelectualy genius but he is blinded by the prospet of revenge for his family's murder. He has a generally kind heart, although he becomes a bit of an anti-hero.

~!At first, Lyserg teams up with Yoh and his friends, but later joined the _X-Laws_, a group dedicated to destroying Hao. When Lyserg joins them, he is unsure about the ways the _X-Laws_ try to eliminate Hao. Takeda Ikki was formerly part of Ragnarok's Technique Trio, along with Ukita and Kouga. He is currently one of the captains of the Shinpaku Alliance and one of Kenichis main rivals. Takeda is a confident person and has a very lighthearted attitude, joking even during serious situations. He also shows extreme respect for his master James Shiba and the Masters of Ryozanpaku.   Takeda was once a successful boxer and had a best friend who watched his back and the two would fight together.

Kaoru (Kyle) is a very handsome, popular, and wealthy young boy at Kaede's school. He rooms with Murumo. Kaoru is smitten by Kaede's sweet personality and falls immediately in love with her.

Yugi Mutou is the main protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. At the start of the series, he is a shy boy who is really short for his age, something he always gets teased about in school. For this reason, he was always alone. However, his grandfather gives him the Millennium Puzzle prior to the story's time line and Yugi is told that if he solved it, one wish of his could be granted. He manages to solve the Millennium Puzzle and he asks for friends and his wish is immediately granted. He also awakens the spirit residing in the Puzzle, but Yugi is not aware of this until much later in the story.  When Yugi does become aware, he and the spirit become very close, with him calling the spirit 'Mou Hitori No Boku' - The Other Me - and the spirit calling him 'Aibou' - Partner. Yugi then becomes a vessel for the spirit and he is told that his duty is to help the spirit find his lost memories. With the help of his friends, he helps the Pharaoh regain his memories while overcoming the most difficult of situations.  

Yugi is mostly seen living with his grandfather, since his parents are mostly on business trips. His mother, Ashita, makes a very brief appearance in the beginning of the second season, when Yugi argues with the spirit. Yugi is also very gifted as a duelist with the Duel Monsters card game, thanks to the expertise and upbringing of his grandfather.   Yugi's deck, throughout the series, was really his grandfather's, since his grandfather gave him his deck in episode 1 to battle Seto Kaiba. However, in the last season - Pharaoh's Memory - he uses his own deck, which contains magicians, spellcasters, and machines.  Yugi is also seen as a 'Ladies' Man' in the series, according to the KCGP filler. However, from the beginning, it has been obvious that he has a crush on Anzu Mazaki, his childhood friend.   

__Yu-Gi-Oh! GX__: Yugi Mutou makes several apperances in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. He is first seen as a grown adult in the first episode, whom Judai Yuki runs into on his way to the entrance exam at Duel Academy. Yugi then hands him Winged Kuriboh and walks away. There are also several mentions of him throughout the series. ~!In the final episodes, 179 - 180, he appears again to Judai Yuki, telling him that he has come to help Judai regain what he had lost in the last couple of years, which was the ability to have fun while having a duel. The older Yugi then helps Judai Yuki reach a time period in between Battle City and Doma Arc. A completely different Yugi runs into him and he is challenged to a duel, which he readily accepts. Yugi then notices Judai's strong magical powers as does the spirit, so he lets the spirit take over the duel.!~ 

__Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie - Bonds Beyond Time__: Yugi is one the main characters in this 10th Anniversary special of Yu-Gi-Oh! He, along with Judai Yuki of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and Yusei Fudou of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, battle Paradox in order to save Duel Monsters and the existence of time itself. ~!In one of the 5D's openings, it is shown that Yugi had lost his grandfather's life during one of Paradox's assaults on his time frame and he is extremely distressed over the fact.!~
