Dita is the second of the two persocoms looking for Chii. Her role is to protect Jima both physically and as a pro-active firewall, hacking into any persocom who tries to hack into Jima and shutting it down (which happens to Yuzuki during her attempt to hack Jima). Dita appears to love Jima, but tries to deny it, believing the persocoms cannot or should not experience such feelings.

Tailmon appears similar to a white Egyptian kitten, with enormous yellow and red gloves and black claws. In the dub, she speaks in a soft, drawling voice. The Japanese version, however, has her in a much older voice to reflect her maturity as a Adult level Digimon. As Plotmon, she acts more youthful like many of the Child level Digimon. Her name, &quot;Gatomon,&quot; comes from &quot;gato&quot;, which means &quot;cat&quot; in Spanish, Greek, and Portuguese. 

Tailmon first appeared in Digimon Adventure as a malicious Digimon working for Vamdemon. As a Digi-Egg, Tailmon had been separated from the other seven Chosen Digimon. When she later digivolved into Plotmon, Vamdemon took her under his wing. Plotmon eventually naturally evolved into Tailmon and became one of Vamdemon's lieutenants in his army of Digimon. During this time, she gained a rival in one of his other minions, PicoDevimon, as the two competed for their master's favour. Her only friend was Wizarmon, a friendly Digimon who Tailmon had once helped. Tailmon also bears red X-shaped scars from when Vamdemon &quot;beat&quot; her because he did not like her eyes.

Since Nao still had a semester of high school to finish, she convinced her parents to let her rent an apartment and live by herself, at least temporarily. Then she finds out with surprise that someone else had rented the same flat: Hisashi Uehara. The landlady suggests that Nao and Hisashi can just live together; this way, rent will even be cheaper, and so they do. At first, she didn't notice that she liked Hisashi until she got a little counseling from her friends. She starts to date Hisashi later in the story. In the end of the manga, she and Uehara move into different apartments because the landlady of their previous apartment had a son who came back from America and had wanted to rent out a room for him and his girlfriend. When Nao agrees, she looks for other apartments for two and learns that Uehara wishes to live alone to become independent. Although at first shocked and upset, she respects his decision only to find out that the two now live next door to each other because of the help of the landlady of their previous apartment and Nakatsugawa.
