Dorami is Doraemon's little sister. Interestingly, they are siblings because they drank out of each other's oil cans. Even though they are siblings, she is more quick-witted and brighter than him as she is ran by the lower portion of the same can of oil that Doraemon ran, which has more nutrients than the upper portion. She is yellow with a cute face, a small nose, and a red bow behind her head. She is manufactured on December 2nd on the year 2114, 2 years after her brother was made. She appeared in various episodes, mainly being called from Doraemon for help, or to just show off a new tool. Her favourite food is Melon Pan and she hates cockroaches, similar to her brother Doraemon's phobia of mice/rats. In the next generation, Dorami will have a relationship with Dora the Kid.

The haikara of the title is Benio Hanamura, a 17-year-old schoolgirl in Tokyo circa 1920 (during the Taishō era). Benio lost her mother when she was very young and has been raised by her father, a high-ranking official in the Japanese army. As a result, she has grown into a tomboy - contrary to traditional Japanese notions of femininity, she studies kendo, drinks sake, dresses in often outlandish-looking Western fashions instead of the traditional kimono, and isn't as interested in housewife duties as she is in literature. She also rejects the idea of arranged marriages and believes in a woman's right to a career and to marry for love. Benio's best friends are the beautiful Tamaki, who is much more feminine than Benio but equally interested in women's rights, and Ranmaru, a young man who was raised to play female roles in the kabuki theater and as a result has acquired very effeminate mannerisms. Misha is a bear cub who moves to a new town with his parents. He's kindhearted and adventurous. He tries to be friends with all the kids although some of them don't welcome his presence due to jealousy and rivalry they feel towards him. 

Misuzu was Lynn&#039;s mother. She met George when he was in Japan for a business trip. She also has a similar personality as his late wife and a reason why he chose her. Kumagami is Ota&#039;s backup. She&#039;s Kanuka&#039;s replacement after she returns to New York. She was top of her class, and is an exceptional police officer. She was courted by several police agencies, but eventually chose the SV2 because of the challenge. Kumagami seems to be very level headed and nothing seems to faze her, though the antics of her workmates sometimes annoys her. Kumagami has an irrational fear of the supernatural, especially ghosts as her father was interested in the topic and she heard many ghost stories when she was a child.
