Tome is a CSI member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, and is often seen investigating the crime scene during cases where Megure is the head inspector. Tome is an anime only character and, unlike Takagi, Shiratori, and Chiba, has never appeared in the manga. He only made sporadic and scattered appearances in the show, but then his role has increased heavily, appearing more frequently.
Tome seems to be very serious and passionate with his work. He, like many other policemen, listen to what Conan has to say, although Conan sometimes says something like: "Mouri wants you to check up on this", or "Mouri asks if this was found". Serano was assassinated before being able to testify. Their corporate headquarters are located in Holland.

Additionaly, numerous fishing ponds put up &quot;No Yagi Allowed&quot; signs after losing so many customers because Yagi was catching all the fish.
