The third &quot;Water Fairy&quot;, who works for Orange Planet and acts as Alice&#039;s mentor. She tends to be a total airhead who does not really pay attention to anything (in the anime, she once rowed under a bridge and forgot to duck), but genuinely cares about Alice. She was a trainee undine with Alicia and Akira, and often joined them in joint practice sessions much like Akari, Aika, and Alice do now. Athena has a beautiful singing voice, which she uses to entertain her customers and also to help Alice when she is in some kind of trouble. Athena has a strange laugh, it usually comes out sounding as though she is angry. She came to know Alicia and Akira when they were still trainee undine and practised together back then. She tends to be quiet most of the time but happy to join in having fun. Her appellation as a prima undine is &quot;Seiren&quot; (denoted as &quot;Heavenly Voice&quot;).

Ogiue is a blunt, self-hating fujoshi and amateur artist whose inner turmoil is the focus of much of the second half of Genshiken.  Ogiue hails from the Tohoku region of Japan in the northeast, and as such frequently tries to hide her accent while she attends college in the Tokyo area.  When put under pressure though her accent tends to slip through.  Her eyesight is incredibly bad, and requires the use of contact lenses or glasses.    Ogiue is a fan of yaoi and boys' love, and her taste in doujinshi stems from a preference for shounen series.  Among the series she likes are Scram Dunk (Slam Dunk), Haregan (Fullmetal Alchemist), Reass Mood (Code Geass), and Wotaru (Wataru).   ~!In junior high, at the request of her friend Nakajima, Ogiue drew a yaoi dōjinshi of a boy named Makita, whom she had been secretly dating. Makita found the dōjinshi and soon after transferred to a different school. This incident is the source of Ogiue's trauma and self-hatred, and it continues to haunt her until she begins to date Sasahara, who is much more understanding of her yaoi fantasies and love of drawing. Ogiue eventually obtains a publishing deal with Monthly Afternoon, the very magazine in which Genshiken was published.  In the relaunch of the manga, Ogiue managed to draw in three new members to Genshiken (not counting Sue) thanks to her large artwork demonstration. Kasumi is a Gym Leader of Hanada City's Gym, known officially as the Hanada Gym. She gives the Cascade Badge to Trainers who defeat her in battle. She specializes in Water-type Pokémon.

Kasumi is a friend and former traveling partner of the anime's main character, Satoshi. After he stole her bike and proceeded to accidentally destroy it, Kasumi followed him around the Kanto region, the Orange Islands, and the Johto region, using the time she spent with him to further her goal of becoming the greatest Water Pokémon Master.

Musashi is a member of the Rocket Gang, more specifically part of a trio with Kojirou and Nyarth, that follows Satoshi and his friends around in the Pocket Monsters anime, usually trying to steal Satoshi's Pikachu.

Yagi is a classmate of Kazuto&#039;s and a sci-fi enthusiast. She doesn&#039;t want to believe Narue is an alien, so she acts hostilely towards her early on. When she befriends Kanaka, who had trouble adjusting to school, Yagi is shown to be somewhat of a loner. Yagi and Narue eventually get over their misunderstandings, partly due to Kanaka, and are able to become friends  

Haruka is a ten-year-old Pokémon Coordinator from Touka City and a former traveling companion of Satoshi. She is the daughter of Senri and Mitsuko, and her starter Pokémon was a Achamo given to her by Dr. Odamaki.

Initially on a journey to meet new places, Haruka found her true calling in Pokémon Contests and made it her goal to become a Top Coordinator. She traveled through Hoenn and Kanto with Satoshi, Takeshi and her little brother Masato.

Nurse Joy is a recurring character in every Pokemon series released.   There are multiple Nurse Joys in every town, city and region. They all look the same, have the same voice and personalities. There have been numerous speculations as to why all the Joys look alike, though it seems they are all related in some way.   However, there have been instances in which a Nurse Joy has been known to have a different personality and appearance (such as the aggressive sun-tanned Nurse Joy of the Orange Islands). Brock has an ability to tell each Joy apart based on minute details in their differences.   Each Joy works in the field of medicine, loves Pokemon and is extremely patient and caring. They are the heads of their respective Pokemon Centres.   A Nurse Joy's Pokemon choices are predominantly Chansey and Blissey: nurturing Pokemon that aid in the Pokemon Centres.

The desert fairy is a mythical creature that goes around gathering information about earth.  ~!She is a being called Star Seed, her mission being to travel through the universe spreading the seeds of life (genetic information of all creatures) on suitable planets, wait until they've evolved, then harvest new seeds to repeat the cycle.  Kamui the wolf is Earth's harvester and, when the time comes, will give Star Seed, all of the DNA it has gathered.!~

A student at Rikkyoin Academy&#039;s Elementary School division. She is extremely shy and introverted, but also very determined. Her house is located right next to the school, and she lives with her sister Komaki, who runs the noodle shop &quot;Umeya&quot; for the student clientele. She has psychic powers triggered by moments of extreme emotional stress, which she tries to keep secret from others; this contributes to her isolation from her peers. A mysterious new girl from Seito High that is presumed be Seito's "secret weapon". Easily a super A-rank, she wields one of the Hyakuhekitou swords with extreme efficiency. In the Ryuubi assassination attempt, she single-handedly defeated Kakouen Myosai, supposedly one of the more powerful A-ranks characters in the series, literally with her eyes closed while defending Ryuubi from henchmen. She presents herself with her eyes closed most of the time and is the only girl in Seito that does not wear the standard Seito High school girl uniform. She believes that violence is unnecessary and that blood-shed can be avoided to solve conflicts. She has deep respect for Kanu while their strengths rival one another.  Choun is arguably the most skilled fighter in both the manga and anime series so far (although she herself refers to Kanu as Seito's strongest fighter). Contrary to her looks, she is very laid back. Instead of being sent by Koumei to save Ryubi from Kakouen's assassination attempt, Choun was sent by Kanu to defeat Teni and Ryomou's dragon before claiming the Dragon Jade. There is no way to tell her true potential because of her limited fights and her lack of seriousness in them. So far, no fighter has given her a real challenge or even put a tear on her uniform. At the end of the series, she is seen doing a bad attempt at flower arranging. Though it is not clearly pointed out whether she harbors a dragon or not, it is seen in a few flashes, in between her fight scenes, that her eyes are cat-like when open, very similar to those who harbor their dragons with control. This anomaly is also seen in the last episode of the OVA when she plunges a warning sign at the eavesdroppers outside the hot springs. A Shinto priestess from the island of Hinomoto (an alternate reading of the kanji for Japan), she is a member of the elite society of priestesses that protect their homeland. She was designed and illustrated by the artist Eiwa.

A scythe-wielding ghost girl in a maid costume, Airi was given human form by the evil Swamp Witch in her quest for domination. Airi serves every whim of her mistress quite willingly. Used primarily for assassinations, she can literally suck the vitality of her enemies simply by touching them.

One of Punie's two little sisters who sneak to Japan in order to assassinate her. They possess the "Ring of Immortal", a magical heirloom which they use in order to summon a spirit to destroy Punie. They activate this artifact with the incantation "Lyrical Tokarev, Destroy All Evil". Whether or not this is their own personal incantation or the activation incantation for the Ring of Immoral is left to conjecture. When executing combination attacks, they preface their attack names with "Gemini" such as the "Gemini Knee Drop" and the "Gemini Low Kick".

A clumsy large-breasted girl training to be a maid. She often trips over absolutely nothing and has very low self-esteem. 

A person from the past who appears when Akari is visiting a bridge. Acts the same as Akari and may be regarded as an alternate of her. It&#039;s hinted in the anime that she&#039;s a teacher of sorts.    Akiko is an anime-only character, and does not show up in the manga.

Jessiebelle is James&#039;s fiance (arranged by their parents). They&#039;ve known each other since they were children but James was not digging the marriage scene so he leaves. Jessiebelle prepares for the day where the two of them can be together. And will do anything possible to get her hands on James.

One of the girls in Anego's gang. She looks like an old, thin woman. She uses a chainsaw to fight and drools often. Inumi also appears once with her face looking like a dog's or a wolf's one. (Inu=dog)

Pocchama is the first Pokemon [Hikari](https://anilist.co/character/3966) received at the beginning of her journey.

Koduck is a yellow Pokémon resembling a duck or bipedal platypus. On top of its head are three thick strands of black hair and it has a wide, flat cream-colored beak. Its eyes seem vacant and have tiny pupils. Its legs and tail are stubby, and it has cream-colored webbed feet. There are three claws on each of its hands.

Koduck is constantly stunned by its headache and is unable to think very clearly. It usually stands immobile, trying to calm its headache. However, when its headache becomes too severe, it releases tension in the form of strong psychic powers. The use of these powers produces brain waves identical to those seen in sleepers, and the Pokémon is unable to recall these episodes.

Purin is a pink Pokémon with a spherical body. It has pointed ears with black insides and large, blue eyes. It has small, stubby arms and slightly longer feet. On top of its head is a curled tuft of fur. Its body is filled with air and, as seen in Pokémon Stadium, Purin can deflate until it is flat.

Purin can use its eyes to mesmerize opponents. Purin has a large lung capacity, exceeding most other Pokémon. Once it has an opponent's attention, it will inflate its lungs and begin to sing a soothing and mysterious lullaby. This melody can cause anyone who listens to become sleepy. If the opponent resists falling asleep, Purin will endanger its own life by continuing to sing until it runs out of air. It will continue to sing until opponent is asleep. It is able to adjust the wavelength of its voice to match the brain waves of someone in a deep sleep. This helps ensure drowsiness in its opponents. Its vocal range exceeds 12 octaves, but its skill depends on the individual. Its song varies by region, and in some areas, it sounds like shouting. Purin can mostly be found in lush green plains and grassy meadows.

Barri-chan is a Barrierd who is currently living with Satoshi's mother Hanako.

Tsutarja is a bipedal, reptilian Pokémon with a slender build. Most of its body is green with a cream underside. A yellow stripe runs down the length of its back and tail, and it has yellow markings around its large eyes. Two curved yellow structures that resemble leaves or small wings protrude from its shoulders and bend backwards. Its slender arms have three fingers, while its tiny feet have no digits whatsoever. 

It has a large, palmate leaf with three prongs on the end of its tail. This tail is capable of performing photosynthesis, which allows Tsutarja to move more quickly. However, the tail will begin to droop when Tsutarja loses energy. This Pokémon has a calm, collected demeanor.

Sunnygo is a small, pink, roundish Pokémon with branch-like growths on its back, which are similar to coral. There is a smaller, blunt horn on its forehead, and it has black, oval eyes. It has a white underside, which speckles towards the sides. Its four legs and two arms are blunt and stubby.

Found in the warm shallow waters of southern seas, Sunnygo requires clean water to live. If its habitat is dirty, the growths on its back become discolored and degenerate. However, when it is healthy, its growths regularly shed and grow back. It is able to regrow them over the course of a single night. It forms large social groups. Occasionally, these groups get so large that people may live atop them, as is the case in Kinagi Town. Sunnygo's horn is a prized material, commonly used for jewelry and carving, as seen in the anime. Smaller Pokémon like Seadra and Lovecus are sometimes sheltered by Sunnygo's branches, and even offer it protection from foes.

Galarian Sunnygo were wiped out by sudden changes in ocean temperature, turning them into Ghost-types. Its body is a bleached white with half-closed pink eyes and a perpetual frown, and its arms and branches have a distinctly semi-transparent appearance to them; the branches can be used to take root inside and drain the life force of others.

The branches cannot cause injuries or pain, but they immobilize the victim until Galarian Sunnygo lets them go. They are commonly found in the remains of prehistoric seas, and while they can be mistaken for ordinary rocks, they will curse anybody who kicks them by accident.

In the Alola region, Hidoide and Dohidoide are natural predators of Sunnygo. However, they do not fulfill those roles in the Galar region, having not realized the branches of Sunnygo are delicious.
