Pazu is an investigator in Section 9.  Before joining Public Security Section 9, Pazu was rumored by various police circles to have been a gangster in several yakuza groups in Japan. Is the grandson of Arsène Lupin I. He is the world's most wanted thief. Often in his adventures, he takes it upon himself and his gang to foil other criminals engaged in more serious crimes. He sometimes appears incompetent, but mostly as a charade to catch his opponents off guard. While he has been arrested and thrown in jail on a number of occasions, he has always managed to break out. His infatuation with Fujiko Mine is perhaps his biggest weakness, as it often lands him in undesirable situations.

Gaara was introduced in the series in Chuunin Exams arc, as a violent shinobi from Konoha's allied country, the Wind country. He came to Konoha with his siblings Temari and Kankuro, and with his mentor Baki, to participate in Chuunin exams.  From the first look, he was shown as merciless and violent individual. Due to his hard childhood, and lack of love, Gaara grew up hating everybody around him, loving only himself.   In fateful incident about 6 years before the main story time, he made himself a tattoo of Japanese Kanji letter "Ai", which stands for "Love". In Gaara's case, that Love was for himself, as he was "Demon loving only himself".  Gaara's point of view dramatically changed after a clash with Naruto, who taught him the true meaning of loving others. Since then, Gaara always feels in debt to Naruto, and tries to help him as much as he can.  Like Naruto, Gaara is a Jinchuuriki who holds within him the one tailed beast, Ichibi no Shukaku. Gaara also relates to Naruto in that in his early years, Gaara was often repelled by other children, and feared by Suna's citizens due to the incredible power he possessed.

Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and is best friends with all of them and values them over all else. At first glance, Luffy does not appear to be very intelligent, often seeing things in childish manner and can easily be amazed by the simplest things. However, because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he is occasionally the only person who can see past the events and see what should be done.  

Luffy seems to have an unstoppable appetite, a characteristic that is common to the Japanese archetype of the (at times simple-minded) young adventurer with a heart of gold; perhaps the hunger more so in Luffy's case due to having an elastic stomach. Luffy is also another one of the several characters given the middle initial "D".  

Although Luffy is fairly lightheaded and a funny character, he has an unstoppable sense of determination, optimism and commitment and will do anything to stand up for his friends and comrades. Along with that, he has great courage to back it up as well as unbelievable strength. Ever since consuming the devil fruit he was shown to be not worried about his inability to swim, much like his brother. Much of these traits are common among D's. His only display of true fear is towards his grandfather, to the point that he does not fight back and is intimidated at the mere mention of him.  

Luffy never kills any of the villains, no matter how cold-hearted they are; instead, he frequently sends the villain flying, knocking them out or until the point that they are almost near death, which results in some of the villains searching for revenge, such as Buggy the Clown and Alvida. Author Eiichiro Oda explains that it's not a question of morality so much as a matter of punishing the villains for their crimes - he feels that killing the villains lets them off too lightly, whereas he considers letting them live to see their dreams be ruined a far more fitting punishment.  

Luffy has a dream, and to even have a chance at achieving this dream, he says that he must find the One Piece and become King of the Pirates. He knows that to achieve his goal, he will have to defeat many strong opponents, including the World Government and his childhood hero Shanks. 

One of the truly interesting main characters in the series, Hyoga appears calm, collected, and unemotional. Beneath the surface, however, he is passionate and devoted to his ideals.

The one person that forever lives in Hyoga mind is his deceased mother. She died when Hyoga was still very young, having drowned during the shipwreck of a doomed cruise. The ship sunk into the icy ocean, where the extreme cold kept Hyoga's mother from rigor mortis. Throughout the Sanctuary arc, Hyoga is shown to visit his mother periodically by diving into the waters.

Nobunaga Kiyota is what could be called the personification of arrogance (something like Kainan's parallel to Sakuragi, only slightly more skilled during the events of the Kanagawa Trials). He is always bragging about how he's the real star rookie of Kanagawa, instead of Rukawa. However, he tends to underestimate other teams, especially Shohoku, and this can lead to embarrassing situations, such as when Akagi flattened him with a dunk, and also when Sakuragi faked past him and scored. Kiyota likes to call Hanamichi &quot;Red-furred Monkey&quot; while Hanamichi calls him &quot;Wild Monkey.&quot; Despite being so arrogant, Kiyota has a high level of respect towards his teammates, especially towards his captain Maki.    Kiyota is known for his leaping ability and ball-handing skills. Despite being only 178 cm, he can dunk and block shots quite regularly. He memorably dunked over Uozumi during Kainan's match against Ryonan despite Uozumi's height. Kiyota is the only starter for Kainan who is a 1st year.

Roto is a dishonorable fighter. He relys on underhand methods to win, instead of fighting with strength or skill. He possess the ability to produce a large blade from the back of his hand. Roto faces Kurama in the first round of the Dark Tournament. Kurama has the upper hand as Roto tries to punch him, but throughout the fight Roto calls Kurama by his human name &quot;Minamino Shuuichi&quot;. Just as Kurama was about to finish him off, Roto threatens to kill Kurama&#039;s human mother, Shiori, if Kurama did not submit to him. This angers Kurama greatly, and he inserted a Death Seed into Roto&#039;s body when he was off-guard. Roto was killed when the Death Seed in his body took root and blossomed into a plant with beautiful flowers. D class demon.

Our main protagonist. A 17-year old young man and the current host of the Baoh parasite. After escaping a Doress train with Sumire, they are both on the run from the evil organisation.  Thanks to the Baoh parasite, Ikurou has enhanced psychical strength and can "smell" evil and suffering. He also has special abilities such as the Baoh Acid Palms and the Baoh Bio-blades. He is effectively invincible with this parasite, however he can be killed by being shot in the head and then burned, thus eliminating the parasite.   ~! 500 year old immortal. He ate the flesh of a mermaid out of curiosity when he and his fellow fishermen had captured one, but out of all the fishermen who ate a piece, only Yuta had survived. His comrades had either been poisoned or turned into soul-less monsters. Yuta, being scared that he will meet the same fate, goes into denial before simply forgetting about ever eating the mermaid&#039;s flesh. He takes a wife and lives normally until he discovers that while she grew older as the years go by, he hasn&#039;t aged since the day he ate the flesh. He hears that a mermaid will be able to help him turn normal again, thus, travels endlessly in search of a way to become mortal. The protagonist of the story, and the son of Tarouza and Oyaruru. He was raised by Tarouza's wife, Tsuyu. After an unknown assailant murdered Tsuyu and her daughter Sayuri, the villagers no longer trusted Jirou and chased him from the village. He then began studying the ways of the ninja under the tutelage of Tenkai. As he grew to adulthood, Jirou gathered pieces to the mystery of the disappearance of his father, and he began to devise a trap to snare Tenkai. In later volumes of the novels, he adopts the name Jirouza Hattori (服部 次郎佐), as well as Gerome Kamui (ジローム・カムイ, Jiroumu Kamui), the name based on that of Geronimo, his adopted father.

He wears goggles and a red cape. Originally from Teikoku. The reason why he plays for Teikoku is for his sister, Haruna Otonashi. He was forced to win 3 constructive soccer championships in order to be with her again, so he decided not to contact her for 6 years, leading Otonashi to believe she gets in his way. After seeing Kageyama's wrongdoings, he and the rest of Teikoku quit. Eventually, Kidou joins Endo's team, changing his cape to blue but changes it back to red in the FFI arc.

The Area Guardian in charge of the Treasury and finances of Nazarick, who was created by Ains himself. He's a Doppelgänger whose face is a simple egghead with three holes dressed in a Neo-Nazi-esque uniform. In Momonga's original design, he's the combination of everything that he thought was cool, with exaggerated gestures and body language. His existence embarrasses Ains, but at the same time knows he's the NPC he can trust the most and the only one who can perform all his master's tasks without misunderstanding his intentions. He's on the same level as the Floor Guardians, and can copy the appearance and skills of anyone he has seen.

Rei ("Ray" in Viz's English manga) is the successor of Nanto Suichouken, which is said to be the most elegant of the Nanto Seiken styles. He represents the "Star of Justice". Rei is introduced in the manga as a ruthless chauvinistic mercenary-for-hire of shifting allegiance whose sole purpose is to kill "the man with seven scars," whom he believes was responsible for kidnapping his sister Airi. Rei is hired alongside Kenshiro by Mamiya to protect her village against the Fang Clan. After Airi is found and rescued by Ken, Rei becomes Kenshiro's closest ally and supports him for a few story arcs.   

~!During an assault on the village, Rei challenges Raoh in Kenshiro's honour but is easily defeated by a technique giving him only three excruciating days to live. With the help of Toki's Hokuto Shinken, Rei's life is extended and his hair turns brilliant white. He uses his final moments to avenge Mamiya, who was once tortured by his Nanto Kōkakuken rival, Yuda. Shortly afterwards, Rei dies an off-screen death. In the 1986 movie, Rei again challenges Raoh but this time his death is almost instantaneous.!~

A mysterious man of unknown origin, Pycal initially appears in episode two of the original Lupin III TV series, "The Man they call a Magician". Pycal appears to have vast scientific knowledge, as well as genuine magical skill, as he manages to craft himself a hardened second-skin to avoid burn damage as well as displaying the ability to fly and shoot fire from his fingers. While the crafty work of Lupin and Jigen initially prove his "powers" are nothing more than trickery, his reappearance in "Lupin III: Return of Pycal" hint that he indeed possesses otherwordly powers (as he returns after what seemed like an unavoidable death and can now teleport and telekinetically block bullets).  Pycal made his first appearance in chapter 7 ("The Hand is Quicker than the Spy") of the original manga series. He is notable for being one of the very few characters aside from Lupin's gang and Zenigata to appear in more than one incarnation of the series. In addition, his levitation trick is indirectly mentioned in "Lupin III: Mystery of Mamo".

Ryu is one of the main characters from Capcom&#039;s Street Fighter series (and is also one of Capcom&#039;s mascot characters) and is the archetypical fighting game protagonist.  Ryu has appeared in every Street Fighter game and vs/crossover games produced in part with Capcom.    Ryu is the essential wandering warrior type character, living only for the fight, not caring about winning or losing but a chance to fight and learn, caring mostly for improving himself both spiritually and physically.     His Background Story varies from anime to anime, but has always remained constant in the game series.  The core of his background story is always this: Ryu is an orphaned child taken in by Anasatsuken master Gouken and trained along with his future best friend Ken Masters. Gouken is killed by Akuma (Gouki in Japanese versions), Ryu seeks revenge on Akuma while fighting in various tournaments in the meanwhile.  Canon wise the only Street Fighter tournament Ryu won was the original, defeating the Champion Sagat.     Ryu has also created an arsenal of special attacks which are standards today including, Hadouken, Shoryuken (Rising Dragon Punch), and Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku (Hurricane Kick). 

Zipp (Japanese: ジップ Zip) is a recurring character who appeared in the Pokémon anime. He is a member of Team Skull, who often appears alongside Tupp and Rapp.
