Tomo is the protagonist of the series and lead singer of the Lemon Angels. Very squeaky-voiced, clumsy, and loves to eat. She had no talents whatsoever coming into the Project, but gained both singing and dancing skills as the series progressed. Former Japanese gravure idol and actress. She made her debut in 2003. While still in junior high school at the time, she appeared on the cover of many young and junior idol magazines as a gravure model. As an actress, she has appeared in TV dramas and theater productions, and has also appeared in many V-Cinema productions.

She was a member of "TEAM SPAZIO," a celebrity women's futsal team (no competition history) that was active from December 12, 2006 to April 29, 2008. Throughout her singing career, she has released CDs under the name of her character roles, such as Reina Fuyuki from "Signaly's", Ami from "Kuriimu Lemon", and [Tomo Minaguchi](https://anilist.co/character/8051/Minaguchi-Tomo) from "[LEMON ANGEL PROJECT](https://anilist.co/anime/671/Lemon-Angel-Project/)", in addition to her solo activities.

She graduated from Daiichi Koto Gakuin in March 2010 and entered Kanto Gakuin University in April of that same year. From September to December 2013, she temporarily suspended her performing activities and went to Canada to study. She graduated from university in March 2014.

On June 2, 2017, she announced her retirement from performing and ended her performing career after an event held on July 22, 2017.

She announced her marriage on October 7, 2018.
