Vegeta is a character from the manga series Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama.  

Aside from Goku, Gohan and Piccolo, he is easily one of the most prominent characters in the series, receiving more character development after being introduced than a number of other characters.  Vegeta is haughty, arrogant, and filled with hatred and bitterness as a result of the destruction of his home planet and his race's abusive treatment at the hands of Freeza. His royal status seems to have caused him to develop an inflated sense of superiority and he holds himself above most people he encounters.  In  _Cross Epoch_ (the  _Dragon Ball_ and  _One Piece_ crossover one-shot) Vegeta is the captain of an air ship and is seen wearing an eye patch and a cape with a clasp featuring the Kanji character for "vegetable." Trunks, Usopp, and Nico Robin are members of his crew.

Roy Mustang is a state alchemist and officer in the Amestrian state military. A hero of the Ishval Civil War and [Edward Elric](https://anilist.co/character/11/Edward-Elric)’s superior officer, Mustang is a remarkably capable commander who plans to become the next Führer of Amestris.

Mustang is a clean-shaven young man with dark eyes. His dark hair is casually unkempt, falling over his eyes; in more formal or somber situations, however, he is known to wear it neatly slicked back. A great fan of classy attire, Mustang is rarely seen out of uniform (and even while in uniform will often don other accouterments, such as a long, black overcoat and white formal-wear gloves), but when dressed in civilian clothes, he appears rather partial to the three-piece suit and black tie (frequently coupled with classic scarves, polished dress shoes, and the aforementioned overcoat and gloves). He tends toward dark or neutral colors in his dress, such as dark blue, brown, and black tempered with minimal white.

On the surface, Mustang is presented as a shallow, self-absorbed, and incorrigible womanizer who is infamous among many of his colleagues and subordinates alike for the selfish and narcissistic aura he gives off. Easily as arrogant as Edward Elric, Mustang is one to act ostentatiously and appears to act mostly out of self-interest rather than any sort of philanthropy. He comes off to most as a sort of cocky layabout, shirking most of his duties and delegating his paperwork to subordinates while sitting idly at his desk with an amused smile on his face as he procrastinates, but is quick to take action when it appears that there is glory and military notoriety to be gained. Mustang is expertly manipulative and prone to think several steps ahead of those around him, giving him a remarkable talent for making subordinates act exactly as he wishes despite appearing not to have had a hand in their decisions - all traits which make the fact that he has managed to attain the lofty rank of colonel at such a young age a matter of public gossip.

Mustang also has a reputation of being a shameless flirt, and it's rumored that he spends much of his time cavorting about town with various women and wooing several of the servicewomen with his abundant charm, good looks, and charisma. This adds another facet to his unpopularity among the enlisted men, many of whom fear having sweethearts and crushes romanced away from them by his hand. He has, however, never actually been shown to be on a serious date with any woman; any flirtatious interactions he had with women seemed to be nothing more than a cover to discretely pass along information.

At the core, Mustang is a remarkably devoted commander whose primary focus and personal duty is to his friends and subordinates. Though he hides it well behind a veil of cynicism and self-importance, Mustang is a man who cares deeply about the people who trust and support him and goes to great lengths to ensure their safety and well-being, even at the risk of his own. As a man with considerable power, Mustang considers himself a protector to those without and acts accordingly, earning the staunch loyalty of his most trusted compatriots.

Orphaned at a young age, Mustang was adopted by his father's younger sister, who brought him up intending to make him into a fine gentleman. Presumably, in his teens, he discovered an affinity for alchemy and took basic instruction in the craft from master alchemist [Berthold Hawkeye](https://anilist.co/character/75922/Berthold-Hawkeye) in the hopes of becoming a source of strength and knowledge for the people of Amestris. However, faced with the increasing frequency of border wars, he left his teacher's charge and enrolled in the state military academy with the intent of becoming a state alchemist and devoting himself to the protection of citizens caught in the crossfire of international struggles. While at the military academy, he became friends with fellow cadet [Maes Hughes](https://anilist.co/character/69/Maes-Hughes), with whom he often discussed his idealistic dreams for the future of the country.

Baptistin is the Count&#039;s other right-hand man. He&#039;s skilled at fencing and practices occasionally with the Count.

He is the second main character, and by far the most calm. He is revealed to be a criminal who had gotten into trouble with the CIA by hacking into their database for reasons unknown. He has many layers to him, and seems to know a good deal more than the rest of them do.     Despite his criminal history, Marco appears to care very much about what happens to the other survivors, regardless of the fact that none of them have more than six weeks to live. He has regularly put his life on the line without a second thought in order to save the others, even those who resent him. It also arguable that although he has certainly not been upfront with information, he has never actually flat-out lied to any of the survivors.     Marco is also the unofficial leader of the group, partially due to his knowledge and partially due to his natural capabilities. While in prison, Marco built up his muscles, received his tattoos, and acquired a new attitude that makes him come off as more of a thug than a hacker -- so much so that his intelligence with computers surprises Katherine and Kasumi, despite already knowing who Marco is. The main human character of the series: a pink-haired, red-eyed, 16-year-old, high school student obsessed with mysteries and the occult. Mayura also seems to have romantic feelings towards Loki near the end of the anime series, mostly by saying that he is a very important person to her. Yuri Mihalkov is the Russian member of the Debris team of Planetes. Calm, stoic, kind and compassionate, Yuri often acts as the level head of the group. It is often speculated that Yuri&#039;s name is a reference to Yuri Gagarin and Nikita Mihalkov. Shuutaro Mendo is heir to the Mendou Zaibatsu with staggering wealth and its own private army. He commutes to school in a gigantic helicopter that is more like a flying mansion. Shuutaro carries a samurai sword which he often tries to use on Ataru (who has become expert at blocking it with his bare hands). Although very handsome he is just as stupid and lecherous as Ataru (just much more sophisticated in his approach). He takes his role as heir to the vast Mendou fortune extremely seriously. Mendou is vain, narcissistic, charming, overly dramatic, claustrophobic and afraid of the dark. He loves Lum, tolerating the presence of Ataru in order to be close to her. Kento Rei Faun, is a member of the Ronin Warriors and arguably has the greatest physical strength of the entire group, shown to perform feats like stopping speeding trucks, without using his armor. Like Ryo, he has a short temper and is quick to anger when provoked, but he also has the biggest heart, and is a loyal friend when push comes to shove. His armor of Hardrock is said to be the most violent of the armors.    Kento has the largest family of the Ronins, and is the oldest of five siblings. He has two sisters, Rinfi and Chun Fa, and two brothers, Mei Ryu and Yun. Kento&#039;s parents (Chan Run and unnamed mother) own a successful restaurant business in Yokohama; as a result, the family is quite wealthy, although Kento doesn&#039;t consider being rich a big deal. Kento is best friends with Cye; he and Cye are shown rooming together while staying at Mia&#039;s house, and they go surfing together in Kikoutei Densetsu.    Kento&#039;s armor is Hardrock, and his Virtue is Gi (Justice). His weapon is a combination of a three-section staff and a naginata and he sometimes wields the sanketsukon like a pair of nunchakus in close combat. The armor&#039;s surekill is Iron Rock Crusher (called Gan Tessai in YST) which causes a massive earthquake-like disruption in the Earth around him. Younger Toguro is the younger of the two Toguro brothers, as well as the most powerful member of Team Toguro. He is the main antagonist of the Dark Tournament Saga, aside from Sakyo. He is always calm and collected, as is expressed by the fact that he never removes his trademark sunglasses. He has no plans in life and spends most of the series serving under Sakyo, one of his most important clients. He&#039;s tall and extremely muscular with a slick black hairstyle.

Otogi is the creator of Dungeon Dice Monsters. He opens a rival game shop across the street from the Kame Game Shop. Yugi and Otogi become friends when Yugi bested Otogi at his own game, despite not knowing the rules beforehand.

Mihawk is said to be the strongest swordsman in the One Piece world, and he is commented as being a monster superior to monsters. Because of his status and power, defeating him is Roronoa Zoro's ultimate goal. Mihawk is so strong, in fact, he is accused by some characters (And fans) of having the power of a Devil Fruit; however, nothing has stated anything but that his abilities simply come from pure skill and power.  He wields the Black Sword (Grosses messer), the strongest sword in the world. It's an ornately decorated, man-sized (6 feet) sword shaped like a cross with a shiny black blade, curved at the end. It also seems to generate otherworldly purple streaks as it slices, as seen when he cut down Zoro and when he split Don Krieg's ship in half. He can tear pirate ships apart with a single, unseen slash of his sword, blocking bullets with a simple turn of his sword, and he can easily defend against even legendary swords with a small, inch-long knife concealed in the cross he wears around his neck.  In appearance, Mihawk wears very decorative, ornate, black-and-red clothing. His most identifiable clothing would be his wide-rimmed hat adorned with a large piece of fluff, a long, black cloak, and his cross necklace and sword. He is easily compared to the real-life pirate Bartholomew Roberts, AKA Black Bart, who also donned a crimson overcoat, a wide brimmed hat with a red feather, and a diamond cross attached to a gold chain around his neck. Mihawk travels around in a coffin-shaped raft with two green-flamed candles, a single black sail, and a single seat. The fact that he can traverse across the unforgiving oceans, as well as the Grand Line itself, in such a meager craft is yet another testament to his abilities.

N'Doul is a man of athletic build and medium height, keeping unkempt dark hair and whose blank eyes are always near shut due to his blindness. He wears a simple T-shirt over which he keeps a stripped overshirt and a drape to protect himself from the sun. N'Doul also wears armbands and simple trousers and shoes. He wears a headband and two earrings which look like bracelets.

A mysterious blond man who wears distinctive crimson-red clothing. He formerly worked as a bodyguard for Ayamaro, the merchant. Kyuzo wields double blades that fit into one sheath on his back, and has skills matching, or exceeding, Kambei&#039;s. He ultimately becomes part of the team and helps to defend the village, as well as to refine his swordsmanship. However, he has another reason for joining the seven - he wishes to challenge Kambei to a duel to the death after the bandits are defeated. Nephrite is the second of the Shitennou to appear, and the second-highest in rank. In the manga, Nephrite's primary goal was to locate the Silver Crystal. Unlike [Jadeite](https://anilist.co/character/8512/Jadeite), Nephrite did not believe that attacking large numbers of people was an effective way of gathering energy, but rather targeting one person who held a large amount of energy. He is a firm believer that human destiny is guided by the movements of the stars. 

Nephrite is able to create illusions, skilled in swordplay, and able to teleport.


Chianti's partner. He is much older than his comrades and wears dark sunglasses. Unlike the other members of the Black Organization, he never smiles.

Yamamura is a police officer and later an inspector from the Gunma district.  He only joined the police, because he was a fan of a TV show starring Shinichi&#039;s mother as a police woman. Yamamura makes a lot of mistakes and would never be able to solve a case if it wasn&#039;t for Conan. He is scared at the sight of blood and dead bodies and of ghosts. For these reasons no one takes him seriously and a lot of people make fun of him.

Elm was the top student of Professor Oak, and often argues with him over their research. Elm is also well known for his very long and unnecessary speeches. He is also absent-minded and Elm has a habit of getting incredibly wrapped up in his research that he is completely oblivious to his surroundings.    Ash, Misty and Brock first met Prof. Elm in the episode Don&#039;t Touch That &#039;dile. After a period of travel, they met up again while he was studying in the Whirl Islands with Captain Marius, and finally again when Ash returns to New Bark Town.    As the head of the Pok&eacute;mon Preservation Council, he asked Ash to deliver an egg that had been poached from Mt. Silver to him. This hatched into a Larvitar, which Professor Elm then asked Ash to deliver to its home.

A leading Spider Rider and captain of the Arachna military. His name mirrors Magma&#039;s&mdash;when magma cools, it becomes igneous rock. Igneous is calm, gentle and has quite a strategic mind. Igneous takes Hunter&#039;s training seriously and almost acts as a mentor to Hunter, to his annoyance. He challenged Hunter and Shadow to a duel when they joined the Riders, but it was only to see if Hunter could cooperate with Shadow. Igneous was part of the Arachna Knights, where he teamed up with a long-time friend Slate. Both were known as &quot;Claw&quot; and &quot;Fang&quot; and they proved to be quite powerful, especially since Igneous didn&#039;t call his spider Flame to assist. Regardless of his grade, Igneous is proud to serve the royalty of the Arachna Kingdom, and always offer his help to prince Lumen and princess Sparkle. His weapon is a cavalry lance and one of his attacks is a flamethrower coming out of the tip of the lance. He has a crush on the Queen of Nuuma, Illuma. Igneous had a fan club of Arachna&#039;s castle&#039;s females, but while he was away to Nuuma, they had found boyfriends, leaving him crushed.
