Pinoko is Black Jack&#039;s sidekick, ~!a little girl constructed by him who is actually a Teratogenous Cystoma, a sort of tumor also known as a teratoma. As seen in Teratogenous Cystoma, she was a rare type of Siamese twin, living in one of Black Jack&#039;s patients&#039; bodies for eighteen years until Black Jack extracted her and gave her a real body, a plastic exo-skeleton. After being rejected by her twin sister, she started to live with him in his house. She always helps the doctor by doing house-chores and even acting as an assistant to some of his operations.!~ She often acts as comic relief in Black Jack, physically and in many ways mentally appearing to be around the age of five years, but claiming to be a girl of eighteen and engaged to him, despite that he only treats her as a daughter.

Meiling Li is a character that appears only in the anime adaptation of Cardcaptor Sakura. Introduced in episode 19, she is Syaoran Li&#039;s cousin and self-proclaimed fianc&eacute;e. As children living in Hong Kong, they both trained in martial arts under the tutelage of Wang Wei. One night her pet bird escaped from his cage, and the normally quiet and withdrawn Syaoran told her not to cry, then left. After spending hours in the rain, he returned with the bird and Meiling was both grateful and touched. From that day, she devoted herself to him, eventually declaring that she liked him above all others and, reasoning that he liked her as well, she declared them to be engaged. At the same time, she promised that if he ever found someone he liked more than her, she would give him up.

In coming to Tokyo, Meiling intends to help Syaoran gather the Clow Cards, and actively dislikes Sakura. As the series progresses, Meiling develops a grudging respect for Sakura that turns into a good friendship by the time Meiling returns to Hong Kong in episode 43. During her initial visit, Meiling seemed to recognize that Syaoran was falling in love with Sakura, but it wasn&#039;t until she briefly returned in episode 60 that she fully acknowledges and accepts Sakura as the person Syaoran loves. Wanting to keep his promise, Syaoran attempts to tell her that he loves Sakura, but Meiling interrupts and tells him that she knows because he is now calling Sakura by her first name, something he only does for his sisters and herself. She smiles at Syaoran with tears in her eyes and declares that the engagement is called off, then quickly leaves. Meiling spends the night at Tomoyo Daidōji&#039;s house to release all of her sadness through much screaming and tears without burdening Syaoran. At the end of the episode, Meiling returns home and is not seen again in the main series. She returns in the second movie, with Syaoran, and together with Tomoyo tries to help Sakura confess her own feelings to him.

Unlike Syaoran, Meiling has no magical abilities, relying solely on her physical fighting abilities and a healthy dose of pride. Her lack of powers, however, results in her hindering more than helping Syaoran in most battles against the cards. She challenges the The Fight card in episode 20, and was nearly badly wounded and had to be rescued by Syaoran. Recognizing that she was being a burden, Meiling grew upset and lashed out at Syaoran. However, she was then able to be an aid to him while fighting The Twin card, as their years of practicing martial arts together enables them to match the card&#039;s synchronized fighting style.

The character of Meiling is voiced by Yukana Nogami. In the English adaptation Cardcaptors her name is changed to Meilin Rae and her relationship with Syaoran is changed from cousins to childhood friends. She is voiced by Nicole Oliver. In the English dub of the second movie, she is voiced by Julie Maddalena.

Yumi Omura is a girl who works at the Japanese pub, My Pleasure, alongside Hideki. She is the daughter of the club's owner. It is initially implied that Yumi was interested in a relationship with Hideki, but as the series progresses it is revealed that she initially approached him because he also worked at Club Pleasure, and that she thinks of him as a big brother. Throughout most of the series Yumi has an inferiority complex toward persocoms, and becomes upset at any mention of a human-sized persocom.    ~!The reason for this is that while Yumi was working at Chiroru she fell in love with the manager, Hiroyasu Ueda. She gathered the courage to tell him, and found out that he reciprocated her feelings. All would have been well, except that Yumi discovered that Ueda had previously been married to a persocom that he had named Yumi, and she thought that he would compare the human Yumi to the persocom Yumi and find the human Yumi inferior.  However, Hideki eventually manages to persuade Yumi that Hiroyasu wouldn't have started anything if he didn't love Yumi for who she was, and he and Yumi start going out again.  !~

The mother of the Nohara family. She is 29 years old and a typical housewife of post-war Japan, she cleans, launders, cooks, sews, mothers, and lazes all to varying degrees of success. While at heart a caring and nurturing individual, her positive aspects are often offset by her many shortcomings. A paragon of hypocrisy, after handing out irrevocable edicts to her husband and children, she will not hesitate to immediately break them once they are out of sight. She administers brutal punishment to her husband, son, and on rare occasions her year-old daughter whenever they disobey her. While she spends as little as possible on the less-essential needs of her husband and son, she loves to splurge on Himawari and herself, though she is noted to have instances of great generosity. She is the source of boundless diet and savings plans, all of which fail within the first week. For example, she is prone to immediately partake in bargain sales when she sees them, thinking she is saving the family money. However, she buys in extreme quantities, which defeats the purpose. Silvia defends Japan from the sea using a submarine. Despite her occupation as a member of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), she cannot swim. She has a somewhat curious affection for tangerines, and is frequently depicted eating them. Her clover pin is grey. Her name in the English-language subtitles is alternately written "Sylvia", though the opening credits and various episodes show her name as "Silvia"

Cotton is Harukas forgotten stuffed animal. They have a heart-aching reunion in the land of forgotten things, when Haruka is escaping some of Teo&acute;s bullies. ~! Haruka brings Cotton with her in her escape, and says that she&acute;s sorry about forgetting Cotton. Cotton has a hard time forgiving Haruka, but after a while Cotton admits that he has missed Haruka too. After that Cotton helps Haruka find her missing hand-mirror, and is a really big help in the toughest situations.!~ 

Position: Assistant  years old  Nationality: Japanese    The peppy one, Himawari (Jesse Martin in the dub) is Miss Satomi's assistant. She's always the one to cheer up her fellow members of Team Satomi when they are depressed. Once, when Miss Satomi talked about dropping out of the race between Team Satomi and Team Velshtein after Amy got sent to the hospital in the White Snow race, Himawari was the one to convince her otherwise, inspiring Andrei to temporarily replace Amy as Midfielder.

Haruka is a thirteen-year old girl, and initially the only known human survivor on earth. During the final war, her parents put her in a cold sleep chamber, sacrificing themselves to help the machine obtain the necessary temperature. She slept in the machine for thirty years before being discovered by her robot family a year before the time frame the series is set in. Her thinking is very positive and she is a hardworking person. A nine year old American from California and Seta&#039;s adopted daughter. She initially delights in making Keitaro&#039;s life miserable, however, like most of the girls in the story, she eventually warms to him, even if she still calls him a dork.

Hikaru is one of the three Magic Knights summoned to Cephiro by Princess Emeraude; the Knight of Fire. She is the smallest of the three knights, often mistaken for an elementary student and considered a bit tomboyish by her classmates. Despite her height and her apparent naivete, she can be quite fierce and strong when the need calls for it. Underneath her ever-present smiles and innocence, there lies the spirit of a warrior who is determined to protect her friends and everyone's happiness even at the cost of her own. Because of this, as the series evolves, she is the one who is most affected - physically and mentally - by all the brutality and war around her. Nonetheless, Hikaru keeps a strong facade, trying not to worry Umi and Fuu who she considers her most precious friends, despite only having met them moments before being dragged into Cephiro.


Alice is a cheerful and supportive person. She means to do well and is not disheartened when others put her down, instead she encourages them. Alice loves magic (as well as sweet chestnuts) and believes it should only be used to make people happy. Her father, Jidan, gave her the True Magic Book when she was young and was the one who taught her that magic should only be used for happiness and never destruction. At the beginning of the season, the book brought her to the magic world when she fell off the top of the school. Despite being human, she was able to learn magic fairly quickly and is better than some of the native witches in the magic world.

A marionette possessing the otome kairo, a circuit that enables her to act almost indistinguishable from a human girl. She is the most child-like of the main marionettes, with a naive, lively, sunny, peppy and playful personality . (&quot;Yoo-hoo&quot; becomes something of Lime's catchphrase), and thus frequently asks all manner of questions about life to Otaru. The quickest of the three; she has amazing speeds that can even out rival the Hanagata Mitsurugi 3000GT seen in Ep 1. She has long blue hair that is pulled back with a long yellow scarf with a red ornament bubble. Her clothing consists of a white, yellow trimmed, &quot;jacket&quot; over a black bodysuit. When Walking, Lime's feet make a squeaking sound not unlike a cross between gears squeaking and the squeak of a toy hammer.

Sakuya Kumashiro is a girl Tenchi meets shortly after moving to Tokyo.  She is a normal high school student who attends the same school as Tenchi.    Circumstances beyond her control often put her and Tenchi in strange situations.    As the only relatively normal girl in Tenchi&#039;s life, he soon falls for her, pulling her into the crazy life of the Tenchi girls.    Yugi holds an interest in Sakuya, and often manipulates situations forcing Sakuya into close contact situations with Tenchi.    Later in the series, Sakuya realizes that she can not remember her past before she met Tenchi.  Together, they choose to make new memories instead.     ~!Sakuya is actually Yugi&#039;s shadow, although she does not know it.  Her purpose on Earth was to distract Tenchi and break up the girls surrounding him.  She doesn&#039;t remember the time before she met Tenchi, because she was created not long before that.    Yugi destroys Sakuya near the end of the series.    Sakuya makes one last appearance in a fantasy world created by Yugi to stop Tenchi.  Once Tenchi tells Sakuya that he loves her, Sakuya tells Tenchi how happy she is, but that they can&#039;t stay together.  She then intentionally ends the fantasy and her own existence.!~

Matori is one of Yugi's henchmen.  Her identifying feature is the red marks on her face.    Matori has the ability to turn objects into spirits, much like Yugi does.    Yugi sends Matori on more important missions, particularly one near the end of the series.

Mayuka Masaki is Tenchi Masaki's biological daughter from the future.    For most of the second Tenchi movie, it is unknown who her mother is.   ~!Her mother is the demon Yazuha.!~    The movie Mayuka is from is generally not considered to be canon in any of the Tenchi universes.

Milly is a member of the Space Knights specializing in communications.

Dita Liebely is the female protagonist who is romantically involved with Hibiki. She refers to him playfully as &quot;Mr. Alien&quot;, while Hibiki refers to her as &quot;UFO Girl&quot;. Dita has a bubbly, lively personality that usually shows in almost every aspect of life, even when she is fighting (she refers to the enemy as &quot;bad aliens&quot;). She admits to having feelings for Hibiki since she met him in the first episode, and is subject to at least some ridicule and incredulity by her fellow crewmembers for her unusual infatuation with a male. When her Dread unites with Hibiki&#039;s Vanguard, they become the Vandread Dita-type Blue Kachina/Giant[Kachina literally means life bringer], a blue giant mecha that has access two powerful dual energy cannons, that acts as long-range or short-range weapons. She loves cooking for Hibiki and feels satisfied whenever he wolfs down her delicacies. While her character is childish, she received a co-leading rank, just under Jura and Barnett. She admits that the reason for her bubbly attitude is to keep the people around her from being too sad and serious at the events happening around them. As a child, Dita often daydreamed about aliens who would take her away from the bleak world she lived in, which leads her to have an almost obsessive fascination with Hibiki, whom she believes is that alien.

 In the manga adaptation, Dita is less childish, and addresses Hibiki by name, rather than "Mr. Alien" and he in turn refers to her by name rather than "UFO Girl".

One of a vampire-like race, the Crimson Nobles, she and Loretta make their living stealing and treasure-hunting. She seems to have a slight crush on Sheyanne, though that might be because she (and every other Crimson Noble) finds his blood incredibly delicious. Crimson Nobles have the ability to transform into strange bat-like creatures, and Mirabelle often transforms easily between the two forms, though others have remarked on her slow flying. Myu is a caracal lynx that had entered the desert of bones beyond the mountain range near the Mon-tribe village and rested beneath the poisonous plant that was said to lead those near it to an eternal garden.  She has lost memory of who she is and where she was, but in the garden, it didn&#039;t matter.  Since she had been there for so long, she cannot make her way back to the &#039;real&#039; world.

She finds Adol when he is sent to the floating island and brings him to town to be healed.  She has a knack for getting kidnapped, attacked, or put into otherwise bad situations.  As a child she was extremely ill. Her mother, desperate to make her better, allowed Keith to slay a monster and use it's blood to keep Lilia alive. As such, Lilia has the essence of evil running through her, which Darm attempts to drain into himself.
