Once the Aragami had reawakened, they began to take steps to ensure their continuted survival. With that in mind, Orochi sought out a family that had been attempting to sacrifice the Kushinada and put the Aragami to sleep again. Orochi killed the parents...but for their baby son, Orochi had a special plan. Implanting within him seven mitama, seven Aragami souls, Orochi charged little Mamoru Kusanagi with the task of watching over the Kushinada and ensuring that no harm would come to her...until they were ready.    So even as he grew, Mamoru kept a watchful eye over little Kaede Kunikida, watching her grow and develop. He didn&#039;t know it then, but watching Kaede grow like this would stir up emotions later on he would have trouble controlling. For Kusanagi was not happy with his destiny. He sought freedom, and to do that, he thought, he would have to kill the Kushinada and let the pulse lock his masters in sleep.    Mutated as he is by the seven mitama on his body, green blood flows in Kusanagi&#039;s veins, and he has the ability to transform his body somewhat. He can make blades sprout from his arms, and he has incredible physical ability, including his penchant for long and high jumps. However, without an eighth mitama, he lacks the strength or the abilities to take on Murakumo. But Kusanagi is not one to give up easily, and his unusual connection to Momiji (she and he both received their mitama from Orochi) will play a crucial role in the late stages of the conflict. Though he, like any man, loves a sexy figure, he's a consumate leg man. And he's always trying to hit on the oh-so-beautiful Rio (Rio likes his fixation, since it allows her to push his buttons), but he always tends to take it too far, and he usually gets beaten up. If it isn't Rio slugging him for looking up her skirt, it's the rest of Team Warrior for sneaking into the girl's locker.    That aside, he worked his way up from the traffic squad and is skilled in all the vehicles in the police arsenal, be it land or air. This is why he's in Team Warrior. Aweaking nude, with no memory of his past, and accompanied only by Pandy who is in the same situation, he soon starts unleashing chaos onto the city with his &#039;new&#039; friend.    Having huge knowledge about fighting styles and weapons, he is also incredibly nimble and skilled. His mechanical head also gives him the ability to change his body and to control any robot or electronic device. In the OVA, it is said that he was a secret agent before losing his memory.

Ash is easily distinguished by his mask: a grim reaper skull with its tongue sticking out. Ash joined the Chess Pieces in the hopes on using their immense power to conquer the world, ending all other wars countries might bring up, preventing the deaths of the children he loves. Ash&#039;s personality is rather unusual on Chess Piece standards, being both playful and fun-loving. Ash prefers to solve matters without fighting, urging the other knights during a meeting not to deal with Rapunzel&#039;s insolence. Phantom himself, who is one of the Knights&#039; more sadistic members, states that he could never hate Ash, as he is &quot;just that sort of person&quot;. Ash is almost always seen enjoyably playing with children, usually Defu, Ko, and Benni, three children he rescued from the war, when not fighting a battle. Ash is also very willing to take punishment, sometimes volunteering to be punished when he felt he did something wrong. Galian also states that Ash is usually not one to give up in battle. Ash&#039;s original design had little differences from his original one, the most notable being having a regular mask rather than a skull one. 

Shigeru Aoba is First Lieutenant at NERV and a computer technician. At times a stereotypical metal head, he is a nihilist and plays guitar (he can also sometimes be seen strumming an air guitar).  ~!In his implementation sequence, Lilith forces her way through his AT Field by bombarding him with a wall of Reis in which he screams in fear. She supposedly takes this tactic with his implementation because there is no one he loves or trusts enough to let his guard down, suggesting a possible layer of solitude and bitterness behind his cynical persona.!~ Again, his character is not explored in depth within the series. Drake is a mercenary hired by the British Library Special Operations Division. He formerly worked for the American special forces. He is an expert in most firearms and special weapons, and while having no superpowers, is extraordinarily tough. Despite a no-nonsense demeanor, he appears to be superstitious and obsessed with luck. He is also a father of a 16 year old girl, which he occasionally meets.

Draug (Doga in the Japanese version) is a playable character from the Archanea Series of Fire Emblem. Draug is an armoured knight in the service of Altea, participating in both campaigns that Marth engages in.

According to Takayashiki Hideo's Mystery of the Emblem novel adaptation, Draug is 25 years old.
