Aichi and Morikawa's classmate. Like Morikawa, he was viewed as a bully in the beginning of the series, but he soon becomes Aichi's friend. His deck is a mix of the Kagero and Tachikaze clans. Unlike Morikawa, he is actually decent at Vanguard. His ace is the Tyrant Death Rex.

The main character of DUAL!, Kazuki is regarded as a pariah by his classmates because he periodically has visions of giant robots battling in the city. After being accidentally sent to the parallel world by Ken and Mitsuki Sanada, Kazuki discovers that he is the only male that can control the mechas. Because of his unbelievable piloting skill, he is commissioned to the Earth Defense Force and becomes the new pilot of the white Core Robot. His cover story at school is that he&#039;s Mitsuki&#039;s little brother, which gives Kazuki quite a bit of trouble.    Curiously, there is no alternate version of Kazuki Yotsuga in this world. Later in the series, Kazuki subconsciously awakens one of the original alien mechas, a robot named Zinv. It&#039;s revealed that Zinv is Kazuki&#039;s counterpart in the parallel world.    Kazuki is the stereotypical harem anime protagonist: a shy, quiet and awkward everyman possessing incredible fighting power and illogical charisma. As usual, he attracts a bevy of beautiful women.    When Zinv is destroyed, Kazuki&#039;s desire for the group to stay together results in the creation of a third possible world, where elements from the parallel universes are combined. Kazuya is an electrical engineering student with a passion for building his robot squid which he calls Ikariya and implenting an A.I. (artificial intelligence) system into it. He&#039;s a bit absent-minded and is clueless when it comes to girls. However it is later revealed that in the future, his work with Ikariya will eventually become the basis for the Maid Program.

Arc is a mysterious young man dressed in a cape and fedora. He first meets Yucie when he seeks shelter at a convent at which she is temporarily working. It turns out that he is being sought by the castle guards, which alarms Yucie. Although Yucie is very saucy towards Arc, she finds herself drawn to him. Arc heroically saves Yucie when they encounter a demon from the Demon World. He also calls her &quot;Forehead&quot; to tease her about her big forehead, much to her consternation.     After kissing her on her forehead a few times, he finally gives her a real kiss, which is witnessed by her friends. Arc is also hunting for the one that first put together the Eternal Tiara, which he feels will lead him to his real father.      ~!In reality, he is Prince Arrow, son of Queen Ercell. (This is in fact the reason he is being sought by guards, as he escaped from the castle to find his &#039;biological father&#039;.) In the past, when he belonged to the "Sanada Juuyuushi", Shindara was called Sarutobi Sasuke. After being informed of Yukimura's premature death and his failure to seize hold of the country through the Taishirou Tokito's predictions, he left the Sanada and joined the Mibu to spy on them and to save Yukimura's life when the time comes. He is called the immortal one because Hishigi modified his body so he can regenerate instantaneously. He faces Yukimura and loses, but his motivation behind his betrayal is revealed. Later, he saves Sasuke from death and dies from mortal wounds beyond the healing capacity of his regeneration.  After Bikara died, Shindara looked after Antera and acted as her parent keeping her at his side at all times.

A level 5 esper with the ability to control the movement of others.

A pair of rich, young men who fight in the Zi Fighter tournament as the Dark Assassins Team (Dralles team in the Japanese version). Rattle pilots a Killer Dome, while Malloy pilots a Dark Spiner, and the two Zoids are capable of fusing to form the Killer Spiner. The pair of them are somewhat overconfident in their abilities, seeing their Fuzor as being invincible.

The Killer Spiner was in the path of Keith's (see below) rampage, along with two Blade Ligers that possibly belonged to Black Impact and Sigma's Boldguard. The brothers can be seen later on in the series, and a Dark Spiner that may or may not have been theirs appears in a few scenes.
