Izumo, a half-demon who turns to a demon (under the name Gyuo) at night, but a human at day, is a clever philosopher who likes nature and the world. He is the one who knows how to make a shikon no tama, and a frog-demon with some other demons grab him so that they can start making a fake shikon no tama. Izumo agrees and makes many copies of shikon no tamas which only has small power. He said to the frog-demon that to make the copies like the real one, they had to collect the souls of people with Aramitama (Courage), Nigimitama (Friendship), Kushimitama (Wisdom) and Sakimitama (Love). He appears in episodes 94-95.

Halloween was abandoned as a child by his parents, who gave him the name of Pump, and was often bullied by other children in his town. During his childhood, Pump also developed a penchant for dismembering small animals, such as dogs. Despite this and the town&#039;s disliking towards him, Pump&#039;s childhood friends, Alan, still remained friends with him. One day, however, Alan showed Pump an &Auml;RM that creates flames. Attracted to it, Pump thieved the &Auml;RM, murdered the children who bullied him, and left the village, but not before telling Alan they would always be different people. At some point, Pump joined the Chess Pieces, and, taking on the title of Halloween and chaining himself to a cross &Auml;RM, would eventually rise to the rank of Knight. As fate would have it, Halloween would fight Alan, who had joined the Cross Guard, and the fight ended in a draw. Even to today Halloween still holds a deep hatred for Alan inside of his crippled heart.

Jinpachi Munashi was a former member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist of Kirigakure.  Utilising the unique "explosion" sword Shibuki, Jinpachi intuitively combined expert swordsmanship with destructive explosions, due to the significant quantity of explosive tags incorporated into the platform-like edge. Once these tags detonate an integrated scroll deposits another set along the same edge, allowing the sword to be used consecutively. However, the capabilities of this weapon do not come without risk, as the user themselves can potentially be caught in the resultant blast but Jinpachi's skill is such that this does not occur. Dokugakuji is a fictional character in the manga and anime Saiyuki, the bodyguard of Kougaiji. In the Saiyuki Reload and Reload Gunlock animes.

He is the older half-brother of Sha Gojyo, and was previously known as Sha Jien, and Gojyo has been searching for him for years. In the manga (original Saiyuki), the two first meet in book three. Unlike his brother, Dokugaku is a full youkai, the son of their father's legal wife (whereas Gojyo was the son of their father's human mistress). In the manga Sha Jien would often calm his mother's violent outbursts towards Gojyo by sleeping with her, acting as a replacement for his dead father. When his mother finally snapped and attempted to murder Gojyo Sha Jien killed her in order to save his brother.

Dokugakuji is now a loyal servant of the youkai prince Kougaiji, son of the Ox-Demon Gyumaoh whose revival the Sanzou Ikkou are trying to prevent. Dokugaku stumbled into Houtou castle one day roughly six years before the beginning of the manga, and was hired without question by the trusting prince. To quote the manga "I decided I owed you my all."

His weapon of choice is a sword which he summons in the same way Goku does his nyoi-bo, or Gojyo his shakujou. He usually fights Gojyo when the two groups meet.

In the beginning of the series, he is able to talk normally (&quot;Finally a weapon!
