Heidi is an orphan who lived with her aunt until she was 5 years old. When her aunt finds a good job which would not leave her the time to take care of a child, she decides to let Heidi live with her grandfather.

Head Monk of the Temple that the group resides in, grandmother to Ikkou, and Assistant Principal to the High School that the group attends. She is extremely strict to Ikkou more than anyone, though this is primarily because she believes him to be spoiled and lazy and does not train hard enough to keep himself from awakening. There have been occasions in the early part of the series where she has let an awakening or another infringement of temple policy go by unpunished, but by the end of the second season she seems to think she might have been too lax with him. She is generally firm with the nuns as well as Ikkou, though Ikkou seems to be the one most frequently in a position to be punished. She, like the other characters, strikes Ikkou repeatedly without remorse but she uses her staff. There seems to be some indication that in her youth Jotoku was a beauty (not only she claims this, but all the older monks around her still seem to think of her as attractive). In the brief points where she is portrayed young, we do not see her face, but she has long hair and even seems to be taller (probably a gag).

Amaranta belongs to a group of people who makes a point to rent gondolas sculled by singles, so as to help nurture their growth. She shows up in episode 2 of Aria the Origination (&quot;That Smiling Customer&quot;) after renting Akari&#039;s gondola for the day. At the end, even though she&#039;s been to all the spots Akari guided her through, she pointed out that it wasn&#039;t the destination that mattered, but the heart and spirit of the Undines themselves that made the journey enjoyable.    Amaranta is an anime only character, and does not show up in the manga.

A toddler from Penguin Village who rides around on a tricycle and is generally annoyed with Arale and the rest of the residents. She likes to be hip and criticize peoples fashion.

Arale&#039;s &quot;bad girl&quot; friend. She is called &quot;Akani-chin&quot; by Arale instead of &quot;Akane-chan&quot;.

Fuzuki is Mitsuki's grandmother. She initially hates music because she believes that music stole away everyone she loved. She is strongly against any music, and becomes angry when Mitsuki sings in her house.      

~!In the anime, Fuzuki fell in love with a man who wanted to become a famous pianist, and the two were engaged. He became 'obsessed' with practicing piano, and when she suggested that he should relax a bit, he pushed her away and said she did not understand. Then he left Japan, and it broke Fuzuki's heart!~

Dante is the main antagonist of the first anime adaptation.     She is the former lover of Hohenheim, and has used Philosopher&#039;s Stones to transfer her soul to new bodies for around four hundred years. She leads the homunculi, either creating them herself, or finding them after they are created, and uses them to create conflicts in the hope of having a desperate alchemist create a new stone for her. She first appears as an elderly woman, who is the former alchemy teacher of Izumi Curtis.      ~!She fakes her death at the hands of Greed, and later reveals herself to have transferred her soul to the body of her student  Lyra , a young girl who had wished to become a State Alchemist. While trying to escape from a Pokémon Hunter, Celebi stumbled across Sam, who was out looking for Pokémon. Just as the hunter was about to capture the Pokémon, it teleported with Oak and ended up in the time of Ash and his friends.   However, there was still danger in the present, this time from a Team Rocket member known as the Iron-Masked Marauder. Using a Dark Ball, the Iron-Masked Marauder captured Celebi to use for his own evil plans. With the help of Ash and the others, Celebi was set free from the Iron-Masked Marauder. However, it looked very grim for Celebi, who wasn't able to heal itself in the lake where it had healed before.   Fortunately, many other Celebi from the past and future came to heal their friend. Once Celebi was healed, it was able to go back to the past and take Sammy with it.   Celebi also made an appearance in Pokémon Chronicles. In Celebi and Joy, Celebi took Ritchie back in time to help stop the destruction of a Pokémon Center.

Jariten, known to everyone as "Ten" is Lum's little cousin. Ten is a bratty and smart-mouthed alien toddler. Like all oni, Ten has powers of his own. He can fly and breathe fire. But he is an inexperienced child so his flying is awkward and slow, and his fire breathing isn't always effective.  Ten is a child, but sure doesn't act his age. He has a certain level of adult intelligence which is quite shocking for someone still in diapers. One result of being precocious is that Ten only has eyes for older women. Yet Ten is still essentially a child and quite naive. Around women he is usually cute and diminutive. When he's near men he's his usual self. Loud, pesky and often aggressive.  Ten came to earth to meet Lum's new husband but was disappointed at what he found. From the moment they've met, Ataru and Ten have been at each other's throats.  Because Ataru is such an idiot, Ten doesn't think he deserves Lum. Therefore he decides to live with them to keep an eye on Ataru.  (info from Furinkan.com)

Desparaia is the main villain of the series, and the boss of the Nightmare Corporation. She orders her subordinates to get the Dream Collet, a magic item that grants any wish, for her to have eternal life and beauty, this way being able to bring destruction and despair to the world. She's often seen wearing a mask and always sends others to work, only fighting in the end of the series.
