Lelouch's childhood friend and son of Japan's last prime minister. After Britannia's takeover of Japan, Suzaku joins the Britannia Army and becomes an Honorary Britannian. He agrees with Zero (Lelouch in disguise, unknown to Suzaku) with his assertion that the Britannia Empire is not worth serving, but nevertheless wishes to implement changes and improvements from within the empire, all the while trying not to lose sight of his goals lest his father's death have been in vain. He has a strong sense of justice and is the only one known to be able to pilot the elite Britannian Knightmare Frame, Lancelot. He always keeps with him a broken pocket watch, a memento of his deceased father.    

Twelve-year-old Naota Nandaba is the main character. His name is derived from the Japanese word for &quot;honesty&quot; and his father named him Naota because of that (Fooly Cooly). Unbeknownst to him, he has the &quot;right kind of head&quot; to be used as an N.O. channel. He is obsessed with appearing mature and attempts to act nonchalant. This is most expressed in his monologues which open and close each episode where he continues to claims that &quot;nothing amazing ever happens here&quot; despite the show&#039;s surreal and often absurd happenings. Naota idolizes his older brother Tasuku, carrying around Tasuku&#039;s baseball bat, and even hanging out with Tasuku&#039;s old girlfriend Mamimi. In Naota&#039;s mind, Tasuku is the epitome of what it means to be an adult, as opposed to the other adults in his life (e.g. his father, his grandfather, and his teacher) who he perceives as being immature. Much like Amarao, Naota is picky about his drinks (disliking drinks which are sour, bitter, or contain pulp) and hates spicy foods (note thought, he is told to &quot;cut back on the sour drinks&quot; by Amarao). His guitar is the Gibson Flying V which Haruko pulls out of his head in the fourth episode.     ~!While at the beginning of the series he appears to be bothered by Haruko&#039;s presence, over the course of the series he realizes his own feelings and admits that he loves her in the final episode. As Mamimi is his symbol of childhood, and Haruko is his symbol of adulthood, when they both leave Mabase, he is left right in the middle where he belongs, in adolescence. !~

Son of Fernand and Mercédès de Morcerf. A naïve fifteen-year-old, Albert encounters the Count while vacationing on the moon colony, Luna. Taken in by the Count's poise, sophistication, and mystique, Albert serves as a tool for the Count to immerse himself in Parisian society. His naïveté is his defining flaw, blinding him to others' faults and intentions. Nonetheless, his purity of spirit penetrates the hearts of others.

Kurapika is a member of the Kurta tribe who were massacred by the Phantom Troupe (The Spiders) 4 years prior the Hunter exam. The Kurta tribe was an isolated group of people whose eyes would turn scarlet when angered or excited. These scarlet eyes were known to be beautiful, being one of the seven most beautiful things in the world. Because of this, the Kurta tribe was constantly pursued and eventually massacred. The eyes of the tribe members were all taken away during the massacre. Kurapika is so far the only known survivor with a heart bent on revenge. He strives to have his revenge against the Phantom Troupe as well as to recover the eyes of his tribe members.  Despite having a heart full of hatred, Kurapika is very kind and loyal towards his friends. He is an extremely intelligent person but at the same time reckless.

Amuro was born on Earth and raised in the space colonies of Side 7. Amuro's father is an Earth Federation technician who helps the Federation build new weapon designs. Since he sees many of his fathers work he's a very skilled technician himself. As soon as Zeon attacked the colony he was living in, he came across the RX-78-2 Gundam and used it to stop them. After countless battles, Amuro learned of his Newtype abilities and was considered one of the strongest mobile suit pilots. Since the Gundam was white he was considered the White Ghost by many of his enemies. After the One Year War, ~!Amuro was placed under house arrest by the Titan forces, believing that he would join the AEUG. Eventually, that is what Amuro did and was able to escape Titan hands with some help from his friend Fraw Bow. He teams up with Kamille and teaches him the ways of a Newtype, but he can't help but feel jealous that he's no longer considered the famous Gundam pilot. After the war between the Titans and the AEUG, Amuro returns to the E.F.S.F. to fight against the Neo Zeon threat. He becomes part of the Londo Bell forces with Bright Noa. Soon Amuro became one of the E.F.S.F. best pilots and was given higher honor among all soldiers of the E.F.S.F.!~

An Ex-Celestial Guardian and main character. Mushra is a boy of a hard temperament, but he is a good boy. Fire elemental, humanoid. Represents the Phoenix and the South. Transforms into Hyper Mushra, a phoenix-knight warrior, he eventually received a boost by King Nipper, giving him wings. Originally a Celestial Guardian, he became an Enterran so he can try to stop Lanancuras, without memory of his previous life. He eventually resumed original form at the end of the series into Celestial Mushra. He is in love with Yakumo.

Kouichi is a classmate who studies nindou under Kumohira. Though he normally has an energetic attitude when around others, he is serious and relentless when it comes to his ninja duties, and is apparently fascinated with death. It is later revealed that his love of death is a result of his own inability to die. His immortality is attributed to the holder of the Shinrabanshou during the Edo Period, who was a medical practitioner, experimenting with placing the wisdom of the Shinrabanshou into animals, since humans usually died. There were only two survivors of the experiments, both of whom gained immortality as a result. Kouichi&#039;s ultimate goal is to find a way to die, as well as ensure that &quot;monsters [like himself] are never created again.&quot;.

He is the drummer of Trapnest. Like Nobu in Black Stones, he's the "clueless", loud-mouthed member of his band. As with the rest of his bandmates, he's a friend of Yasu. He's a big fan of glam rock bands or musical artists, like David Bowie, and his look is inspired by the glam rock look. He started playing drums when Takumi asked him to be in the music club in high school, thinking that he'd be perfect in him and Reira's band with his blond hair and "Prince"-ly appearance. Naoki was very excited by this idea, thinking he'd get tons of girls and popularity by being in a band. He realized right away that being in a band isn't as easy as he thought. ~!Sasori, also known as Sasori of the Red Sand, was the grandson of Chiyo and a member of the Akatsuki before his death. He was originally partnered with Orochimaru but was later reassigned as the partner of Deidara. Sasori's parents were killed by Sakumo Hatake when he was a child, leaving him as an orphan with no one but his Grandmother to raise him. To help Sasori cope with the death of his parents, Chiyo taught him the art of puppet making. He began making puppets at the age of five, and was even able to create puppets that resembled his parents in an attempt to mend the terrible loneliness he felt. Sasori later lost interest in these puppets because they were lifeless beings unable to give him the natural parental love that he desired. Sasori was a born natural at the art, even devising masterful ways of eliminating a puppet master's weakness. Sasori was the creator of numerous masterfully crafted puppets, a number of which were used by Kankuro. Chiyo as well was a wielder of Sasori's puppets, as she was the one who retrieved the Mother and Father puppets after Sasori discarded them.!~

In the present timespace, he is Haruka's classmate and one of the protagonists of the anime. He, unlike other students, is being forced by his mother to go to cram school in order to pass a provincial enrollment test and go to a Tokyo junior high. As a result, he has little time for anything but studying. He initially tries to run away with disastrous results, and later has a blowup with his mother. Once the pressure is relieved, he realizes that he needs to take the exams because he has no special talents. Yuu initially doesn't want anything to do with La'cryma and the Dragon Knights, because of Karasu's contempt for him and Atori's crazed behavior. But he reluctantly gets involved, eventually teaming up with Karasu to save all timespaces – and Haruka – from Noein. When confronted by the monstrous version of himself, he disowns Noein and destroys his power.

Ayato is a student and artist who lives with his mother, Maya Kamina in Tokyo. Most of his artwork shown in the series consists of drawings or paintings of a girl on a cliff looking towards the sea. He has birthmark-like symbols on his belly that resembles runes, which are revealed to be a sign of his being a potential instrumentalist for the mysterious giant godly being called the RahXephon.

After being taken from Tokyo by Haruka and the RahXephon, Ayato moves in with Shougo Rikudo, Haruka's uncle on Nirai Kanai. At first, this arrangement does not sit well with Ayato, as Haruka and her younger sister Megumi live in Rikudo's annex, but they slowly adapt to each others' presences. As a stranger from Tokyo Jupiter, Ayato struggles to find his place and acceptance in the outside world. Although he pilots the RahXephon in defending Nirai Kanai, he questions his abilities and self-worth. He also struggles with trying to piece together and understand his relationship with Haruka, handling the feisty Megumi, and interacting with the other TERRA personnel, who regard him with a broad spectrum of reactions, from acceptance and friendship to cool scientific interest to distrust and even contempt.

Yuya Asou, a young high school student. He tends to be day-dreamy, and is sometimes aggravated that the love of his life, Ran Kotobuki, never listens to him. He is hopelessly devoted to Ran, whether he be helping fight crime, or trying to win her heart, he is always there for Ran, whether or not she knows it!    

Yuya is constantly being interviewed by &quot;Gals!&quot; magazine, and has won second place in the Super High School Student Grand Prix. This is why he&#039;s commonly referred to as &quot;Second Place&quot; among Ran and her friends. His best friend is Rei Otohata, who won first place in the Student Grand Prix. His mind is in the gutter most of the time, and because of Ran, has been dragged into trouble much more than once. Will our High School hunk ever learn?

Kyon is a first-year high school student enrolled in North High, and his real name is unknown; instead being referred to by everyone by the nickname "Kyon". He is quite cynical and doesn't believe in anything interesting like aliens, time travelers, or espers. She ends up forming the SOS Brigade and drags Kyon into it, where he tries his best to stop Haruhi from causing too much trouble. Personal Gunmen: Kiyalunga    Kiyal (キヤル, Kiyaru?) is the youngest member of the Black Siblings. Just like Kiyoh, she was helping out in the Dai Gurren&#039;s control room until episode 13, when she starts aiding in the front lines piloting her own Gunmen, Kiyalunga (named after herself), which can transform into a shield and lance which are wielded by Kittan&#039;s King Kittan.    Kiyal&#039;s name comes from the word yaruki (やる気), meaning &quot;willingness&quot;.

Tobi's little brother known for his illusion and parlor magic also was suffering from amnesia, he was taken by Sanga as a tool for fooling the common people in Lastland as a god. His amnesia was healed by Sara through acupressure, he remained seriously wounded throughout the OVA.

The thirteenth generation of renegade samurai, beginning with the legendary figure Ishikawa Goemon (石川 五右衛門). He has a sword called Zantetsuken (斬鉄剣), meaning "iron-cutting sword", which can cut through almost anything. In one episode during the TV series Goemon admitted that his sword cannot cut konnyaku, which is a starch-based jelly made from yams, because the blade just gets stuck in it. The Zantetsuken is usually used to cut inanimate objects, which Goemon considers unworthy of his blade and often mutters his catchphrase "once again, I have cut a worthless object" after doing so. Objects cut by Zantetsuken will fall apart a couple of seconds after he sweeps through them with his blade. He is usually quiet and participates in Lupin's exploits less frequently than Jigen.

Sumilidon is Koji&#039;s Medabot. He is not much of a talker, usually only speaking when spoken to or when it is extremely important. He is a strong contender and his specialty is the Shadow Sword. During the robattle with team U.S.A. Sumilidon gained the ability to use the Medaforce, though many believed that it was because he had a rare medal that was not the case as Dr. Aki ran multiple test on Sumilidon&#039;s medal and the results being inconclusive. It is never truly explained how Sumilidon could use the Medaforce Dr. Aki had a theory that Sumilidon might have had some ancestral connections to the rare medals giving him the Medaforce but this is just a theory.

Takuya is Hiroki's best friend. With him, he built a plane to go to Hokkaido Island to see the tower that is there.

Yuuichi Taira is a narcissistic student who stars in Episode 2.

He is the fourth victim of Golden Bat. Prior to the events of Golden Bat, Yuuichi was popular at school, and ran for class president. However he was extremely egotistical and always tries to get attention, usually by greeting people every chance he gets. He seems to have an extremely pleasant personality, but is actually sour and self righteous. This can be seen when he thinks [Ushiyama Shougo](https://anilist.co/character/16423/) is a disgusting pig, and confronts him behind the school. Yuuichi shows signs of being slightly unhinged, often fantasizing about more attention and praise. And he goes to unreasonable extremes to get his greatest desire.
