Akari is the very protagonist of this series. Tomoe Midou&#039;s daughter, holder of many unbeaten record and seen as a symbol for the athletes living in the satellite-university, she fights every day with the promise made to the mother to be able to reach herself the satellite and becoming Cosmo Beauty, one day.  Akari is of weak nature, always ready to cry and surrender, although this part of her personality will evolve mainly in the last episodes of the series.

Miyako is a touch on the geeky side, stubborn, cheeky and impulsive. While she is somewhat loud and bold, she is very sincere and true to her feelings to the point where she is often unaware of others or how her feelings are affecting them. Jinnai's younger sister by about a year.   Nanami is highly independent and strongly entrepreneurial, going so far as to take payment from the high school's Broadcast Club to grill her brother over the fraudulent election results on campus television. When she's sent to El-Hazard, she's initially alone and is forced to take on a waitressing job to earn enough money to travel, but she eventually meets up with Makoto and Fujisawa at the Fountain of Arliman, where she is able to start a small business selling boxed lunches to the visiting priestesses. An English teacher at Jindai High and is the class advisor to Sousuke, Kaname, Kyoko, Shinji and Mizuki at Class II-4. She is a kind and understanding teacher, who is willing to put the interest of her students over her own, as shown when she confronted Gauron and some North Korean secret agents over taking Kaname from her seat in the hijacked Boeing 747 in Sunan Air Base. Tohno is a female kappa who, a thousand years before the events of the story, caused so much trouble that a monk sealed her away. Mei Mei freed her when she left the circus and ends up with Mei Mei on the island. Tohno is supposedly a skilled enough warrior to defeat Pandaro, the Eastern Leader, and is considered a rival by Machi. Tohno loves to eat cucumbers.

Asuna is the Gym Leader of Huen Town's hot springs Gym, known officially as the Huen Gym. She specializes in Fire-type Pokémon and gives out the Heat Badge to Trainers who defeat her.

Asuna is enthusiastic about her new role as Gym Leader, but she was still getting used to the responsibilities and was overwhelmed. While Asuna already has the hallmarks of a Gym Leader, including her confidence and dedication, her grandfather Mura returned to the Gym to help support her training.

She attempts to keep herself calm in the heat of battle, but her stressed temperament is still a weakness. Asuna's battle strategy is still experimental, but she showed off impressive defensive strategies that helped her Pokémon inflict a lot of damage on Satoshi's. Asuna also uses Sandstorm and Smog to distract her opponent's Pokémon before hitting them with a Fire-type attack. She resorts to using status conditions in order to overcome strong opponents who have the type advantage, like Satoshi's Heigani.

Silk is the gentle and kind net navi of Anetta. During Anetta&#039;s stay at the hospital while dealing with her phycisal therapy, Silk lent her the courage to continue on. However, Silk was deleted when she tried to rescue Anetta from a fire that broke out in the hospital. Nozomi Atarashi is a supporting character of the spin-off manga "Saki: Achiga-hen episode of side-A". She is the older sister of Ako Atarashi. Nozomi is an alumna of Achiga Girls' Academy and was a teammate of Harue Akado during Achiga's debut at the Inter High ten years prior.

Staff of Easter Company. Utau's manager, was competing with Nikaidou to see who is the first to find the Embryo. Yukari dated Nikaidou in the past. She came up with a new project "Black Diamond" to at the same find the Embryo and mass-produce X eggs. The CDs of the band were freely distributed and the people listening to it had their Eggs removed by force. As the band became more famous their song is slated to be released to the Internet together with the unveiling of the band. In Seiyo it is branded as a cursed CD. Kairi snuck the CD into Tadase's bag. When Tadase listened to it, he became infected causing Kiseki to almost change into an X egg, but Amu came and saved him.   ~!She and Utau have resigned from Easter after Amu got Dia back, and are starting their own music industry called, "Sanjou Productions." !~

Shoko Aki is Sho Fuwa's manager. Since he and Kyoko spilt he's been living at her place. Actually he was already living at her place most of the time even when he was still living with Kyoko. He also constantly flirts with her. Shoko Aki herself wanted to become an actress, but decided she didn't have the talent for it.(act.85.) But she still wanted work that was connected with Show Biz, and got a good job as a manager. Shoko and Kyoko actually get along okay.

Rea Masaki works with Nobuyuki in his architecture business.    She learned how to cook from Tenchi's mother; hence Rea's cooking tastes just like how Tenchi's mother used to cook.    For some time after Kiyone's death, Rea acted as a surrogate mother to Tenchi.     ~!Rea eventually marries Nobuyuki, becoming Tenchi's step-mother.!~

Lucy is an alien girl who doesn't have much expression and doesn't have any friends. In the anime, she introduces herself to Takaki's class as 'Ruuko Kirei na Sora', which means 'beautiful sky.' She meets Takaki in the sixth episode of the anime, but we see her in an earlier episode without any dialog. She refers to herself as 'Ru', the name of her home planet and the beings on it, and to earth and earthlings as 'Uu'. She greets people by reaching for the sky and saying, 'Ru!' Himeyuri Sango in particular enjoys mimicking Lucy's greeting. Lucy has a cat that almost drowns in the sixth episode but it is saved with the help of Takaaki; Lucy summons a thunderbolt which splits a tree, forming a bridge which Takaaki crosses to lift the cat out of a raging river. Lucy terms this stray cat 'the Nya', saying that it is a special species that can enjoy the true taste of food, and like Ru, Nya is alone on Uu. Lucy likes to cook the Nya fish broiled over a charcoal clay pot, which according to her is the best cooking device available on Uu. Apparently a currency of Ru is matchsticks, one of which is enough to buy a whole rocket engine. Lucy irritates the cafeteria cook of Takaaki's school by attempting to treat Takaaki to the best meal the cook can prepare by paying the cook first one, then two matchsticks, however Lucy is somehow able to successfully purchase her charcoal clay pot and fish to br with matchsticks. Lucy says that on Ru, it is said that the only good Uu is a dead Uu, but Takaaki is a special Uu.
